It was funny how he was being dragged on some mission, which wasn't even really a mission. Claudia had her own personal bodyguard, so what was the meaning or bringing him along. Yet, where was he to argue about coming along or not: he simply did as instructed, as always without any backtalk. That was all there was to it.
The rotors of the chopper may have been soothing any other day, but having one of the side doors opened up sent warm, humid air into the crew compartment, where he was the sole occupant of it. No lights were on in the back, keeping it in darkness, save the strip of sunlight, which would occasionally scan over the occupant.
Glimpses were caught of black and a red shirt button shirt, but his face was always hidden, somehow in a spot where, no matter how the aircraft was moving, always left his face in the darkness. The occupant flexed his right hand, loosening up the joints and getting it ready for anything that could happen, not that he expected anything to happen: he was always ready though.
We're almost to our landing point, and the edge of the restricted zone. Zwei, get everything ready back there.
Zwei gave no reply: the speaker box was at the front of the crew compartment, and he wasn't wearing a headset. With a small sigh, the man rose from his seat, moving around whatever was in his way, and fully opened the sliding door, which gave view to the jungle below them, with the view of an ocean close to them. Actual light in the room finally, Zwei turned around, opening a strongbox, and taking out one of the pistols in it: a custom slugthrower, and stashed it in its holster on his side. Its twin went on Zwei's other flank.
The aircraft began to slow down and descend, which was easily felt. After grabbing a few spare magazines, Zwei threw on his black jacket, completing his suit. It seemed way too hot and humid to wear it on a planet such as this, but it was a small comfort that he felt as if he needed. With a bump, the chopper landed on the beach. The door leading to the cabin opened, and a lovely woman walked out, taking off a headset. Behind her, the pilot was shutting down systems.
They should know we landed here. I don't think it will be much of a wait.
With a egg-shaped face, long blonde hair, sharp eyes, a large bosom, and a long, shapely body, Claudia Stone was someone who could tell a stranger to jump off a bridge, and they would instantly do it. Personally, Zwei didn't feel that way about this woman, but he kept his opinions to himself. Zwei was the first one out of the aircraft scanning the area, then helped the woman down. Her dress suit looked nearly as hot as his outfit, but she was always one to look her best: Zwei learned that long ago.
Lets start walking. We can meet whoever along the way, if they send anyone.
Hmm. Alright, Zwei. Lets go.
