Character: Mohana-Maya Lakshmi
Reason: I wanted to vote her for last month, but since she's still active thiiiiiis month, here we go:

Mo has been one of my favorite characters since she was first made. And in the thread Lights, you really, truly get to see who she really is. How her very world just teeters on a glass edge, ready to shatter at any moment. But still holds hope, still fights for those she loves, despite racially being an outsider. I adore Mo, and think no one else deserves COTM besides her.

The Dutchman has spoken.

Character: Cyn 'Bit' Rook
Reason: I have seen nothing more wacky on this site than the things that Bit does. Such has piloting a speeder, then standing up in said speeder to shoot a sniper rifle. While going through traffic.

Ash always makes me laugh with Bit. Nothing better than laughing at every single post, yet you're still able to progress the story.

In short, Ash makes Bit a joy to post with. I'd never pass up another thread with him.

Character: Horst Stellar
Reason: I can't recall if Horst has ever received a monthly award or not, but RPing a thread with him in it has been a fun experience. I feel like I can never truly make one of these awards decisions without sharing a thread. Now that I have, I feel confident in giving Horst my vote.

Character: Cyn "Bit" Rook
Reason: I'm with Ghostie. Bit is a bit of wildcard in that you never know quite what to expect, and that makes each time he comes around all the more interesting.

Besides, Ash is awesome too.

[Talau the Ever-Lurking]

Character: Vance Asano

Reason: Now, I don't often put up anything for CotM or TotM or MotM, so when I do I really think there's a reason. Vance really is a stellar example of a padawan. After having had several threads with this particular character I can still say that I thoroughly enjoy him. He's curious, tenacious, intelligent and, best of all, real.

Now, when I say that I mean this specifically: I've seen padawans played like they're not entirely human. Some of them just don't have fears, or don't have curiosity, or don't ask about the things that might really matter to a jedi because they just 'know' them or just simply accept them as fact. Now, maybe some do, but I just don't feel that's quite as close to what a 'real' padawan should be like as they could be. (maybe that's just my interpretation) Anyway, Vance is quite multifaceted and 'real' enough for not only me to like him, but Tal (muse) herself....the jedi who didn't want a padawan actually bothered to take one on (without my forcing it). Y'all may not know it, but that says a lot to me right there. Furthermore, Fro's great to post with in general, bothering to take the time to ask questions that would help Vance along in the thread and react appropriately for his personality or the situation in general.
