Nui's Jewel - The Crew

So, I thought it'd be nice for us to have an area where we can talk about things.

So far those involved are:

Meria with Pala'shak
Falcon with Kesslene Dagarr
Jenno with Lash Venedray
Mara with Trevil Lora'nthe
Neology with René Aventine
Kellaishleya with Glem A'Quae
Rugs with Tsubasa Arus
Silas with Ronan
Otterling with Daemon Cabbat

Both my character and Zarkan's are still in the process of being completed. But I was just wondering if there were any ideas or suggestions for this whole thing?

Also, I just want to clarify what this whole thing's going to be, are we going to get involved with the main plot much? 'Cause I got the impression that this would mainly be for character plots and such, working them in between jobs, or even for jobs.

Also, do we have any idea of the order of who's joining? I know that Talarian's character's going to be the last one to join, and I was planning to have Lash join just before her, but what about the others?

Oh, and if we are going to be doing character plots, then I know I've got about three or four potential things that could involve the crew in. Might I suggest you guys come up with some as well ^^.

I think Doc will be first. Otter wrote it into his bio that Palas and Doc already know each other, so it would make sense he'd be first.

I'm not exactly sure how we'll be acquiring Dusain, but I figure We could run into Lash at the same time. Him cowering on the ship during a fight or something. Then we could move into the water smuggling mission in which we meet Kesslene.

After that, I don't have any specific plot ideas, but I think sticking with character plots is a good idea, rather than getting involved in the main plot. Maybe we can make references to what's going on in the main plot, but for the most part, I see our crew as our own little world where we can have fun RPing.

And my plan for Lash joining the crew would be that he sneaks onto the ship and hides as he's fleeing the goons of a Hutt. It'd probably be best if he didn't come out of hiding until they were in space, and (in order to spice things up) they were being chased by either the goons who are after Lash or some pursuers from a mission the crew might have just been on?

But that way I can have Lash actually prove his worth in terms of flying, so they don't just boot him out into space.

From thereon he'll be like a character in KotOR 2, he wont reveal anything of himself unless you have 'influence' with him.

Maybe these goons and the people Palas, Doc, and Syb are dealing with could be..... the same? Eh? Common interests and whatnot?

Dusain his contraband(?) material in the republic so I was planning on having her board the ship in the process of escaping from the authorities impound.

[Meira]

mmk... so maybe this Hutt had Dusain, but the Rep. found her out on a mission for the Hutt, and impounds her?

Meanwhile, Palas, Syb, and Doc are trying to deal with the Hutt because they had to drop their spice cargo when they came too close to a Rep. convoy (Han Solo anyone?) The Hutt will "give them another chance" and as they leave, instructs goons to take care of them when they're done with that troublesome pilot.

The whole thing goes down near the impound where the guards try to break it up, leaving a window for Dusain to sneak away, and while the goons are distracted with Palas, Syb, Doc, and the Rep. guards, Lash does basically the same thing, sneaks onto the ship. Then Palas, Syb, and Doc climb aboard and make a quick exit, unaware of their cargo until out in space and being pursued by the goons. At which point Lash appears and takes the helm, much to the confusion of the crew and gets them to safety...

And so on and so forth. Anyone care to add to, amend, or entirely scrape that idea? (I'm not attached to it, so feel free, lol)

It sounds like a plan to me.

Just one thing, I'll need a name for this Hutt for my bio, since Lash's gonna have a bit of history with him.

hmm. why a hutt.... why not an already being played character.... im just trying to give you guys an example you can scrap it.. but at this point in time, Stats Garabas and the Garbas consortium basically own the zcerka corp, Exchange, and garrumbar Co.

Stats could be your antagonist.... i mean i could send goons after you... and such. just a thought. you can scrap it if you want.

I think that because we're trying to avoid the main plot and Stats are going to be involved with said plot, it's best we try to incorporate as few outside sources, especially ones that large, as possible.

Ok, soo... what does everyone think of this ship and floorplan? If ya'll don't like it, There's a ship that Zark has a pick of that I'll go with, but I'd like feedback on this first.

Ok, sorry I missed so much but let me see if I can catch up.

Meira: Love the ship, looks good to me. Doc will most likely make the whole medbay area his room too. He'll set a cot up in there. Heh.

As for the plot idea, I love it. Adding Doc in won't take long at all. He's an easy to fit in character because he really has very little in the way of open plot ends from his past so if we run into any trouble, it'll be because of the company he's WITH more than anything he's run into on his own. He's a tad attached to Palas though he'll die before he admits it so he'll stick with her through thick and thin. Just...uh...be prepared for him being kinda snarky. He likes her but he's still going to give almost EVERYONE a hard time. XD Of course...he's also going to have a blast picking on Lash. Hehehe.

Don't worry, Lash'll have a fun time being weak yet strongly sarcastic and witty in return .

Also, with the number of openings there are for character plots in Lash's past and also the introduction of Tal's character, I hope to develop Lash a fair amount. Not sure exactly how it'll go as that'll depend on the events. But we may see Lash actually stand and fight for something. Instead of running away at a fair speed.

Zark: I haven't done anything along those lines, and to tell teh truth, I wouldn't know where to start... so if you wanted to, that would be great.

Areleia: No, I don't think we could swing that. I did see a ship on wookieepedia that had something of a hangar, but I don't know if we could pass it for being in our time frame. let me check because that ship had a floor plan too... and floor plans mean a lot to me. I need to have visuals.
