Mara's looking for new plots [all characters]

Forgoing the request templates, because I'm posting all my characters...


Looking to get some new threads and plots going for my characters, because I have some ending soon, others that are stalling. Plus it's always fun to meet new characters, RP with new members.


Some of my characters might be easier to get involved with than others, but I'll put them all up. I'm not if not creative.


XIERRA --  female Falleen, Jedi Knight Guardian, member of the Blades

--  I'm open to about anything, but probably only with other Jedi.


EAN -- male Corellian, former bounty hunter

-- Looking mainly for something for him to do to pass the time. Prefer a new occupation/job/career for him. He's recently given up the bounty hunting trade. [more details in another request thread]
-- Setting-wise, most likely Kuat, because he'll be there for a while.
-- Faction-wise, don't really have any objections, though other fringers or civilians would be the most likely for him to encounter, I think.  He will have his daughter with him, but there are ways to keep her out of the way if you just want an 'adult only' thread.
-- Also open to possible romantic entanglements.


TREVIL -- male Bothan, slicer and sabacc player, member of the Nui's Jewel crew

-- Plots with him will be a bit more complicated, since he's part of a crew and travels with them. However, depending on destinations, could be chances for him to run into someone on some downtime. Maybe in a sabacc game or something. Or in a bar.
-- Also, I've been looking for a while for some people to help me RP out a scene from his past, with some NPCs. If you're interested in robbing a bank, this might be your thing.


AMBRIA --  female human Mandalorian, sniper, member of special ops division

-- Currently she's involved in a mission to Gargon, but otherwise I don't have much going for her.
-- Since she's military, and Mando, there's not much opportunity for her to meet others who are not the same. But we can get creative if you have someone for her to cross paths with who's in a different faction.
-- For a while I've been trying to get something romantic going for her, to help snap her out of her grief over her dead husband, so this is another option.


LOOMA -- female Twi'lek, Sith Initiate

-- At the moment she's away from Korriban, on a quest to look for her sister (but fail). [more details in another request thread] However, this plot has stalled a bit, and I'd be open to threading her return on Korriban. She could always use more Sith acquaintances/friends.
-- Would also like to start finding her a new master, so that's another possibility for RP.
-- I'm also open to the possibility of some romance with her. She has recently sort of parted ways with her old boyfriend, as they kind of grew apart. As he was a human, inter-species dating is fine.


PAK -- male Balosar, former Republic fighter pilot, former smuggler, currently a pilot-for-hire

-- In the middle of a fairly important plot with him, but it's stalled and should be easy to work around/do threads that take after it. And in fact, I do have an open thread with him post-hangover (bout with deathsticks), so I'd love if anyone popped in there.
-- Otherwise, possibilities are pretty endless with him. He spends a lot of time in bars, drinking. So there's that. Or if your character needs a ride and hires him, there's that, too. Or just some random adventure.
-- Romance is an option, but a slim one. Technically, he will be married but doesn't know it. (He was hopped on alcohol and deathsticks; otherwise, he wouldn't be caught dead with a woman.) He's really hung up on someone he met a couple years ago and had a crush on her, thinks she's dead. But if you're up for a challenge, go for it.


IRRINA -- female Arkanian Offshoot, senator for Arkania

-- Anything involving her, will involve Ofi, her AER droid, friend and bodyguard. Also,  likely her  human bodyguard, Mal. But if you want something more private, I'm sure we could work something out.
-- Otherwise, I'm pretty open. The most logical option is political story lines, but as there are not really a lot of other available characters in that area, I have to be a bit more open to other ideas. A chance meeting somewhere. Some kind of charity event, perhaps. Or maybe some kind of mercy mission she overtakes.




And that's about if. If you're interested or have any ideas, post away.

At the moment, all I have is Romeo, obviously my MoD assassin. Obviously he can't do anything with Looma or Xierra; based off what you wrote the most obvious choice is Pak, since he and Romeo both drink a lot. Albeit, most of the time Romeo's bars don't exactly get off scot-free...

You should also finish Zulu! Easiest connection ever, right there!

I should... now that I have the time, and all my threads are caught up. Have to try to get back in the swing.



Anyway, with Pak, the first thing I wanted to do with him is have him end up on a planet (randomly selected in his post-deathstick stupor), and be in a bit of a rage because he's out of alcohol and is completely sober for the first time in who knows how long.
Give me a chance to explore the pessimistic depressive side of Pak.
(Originally he was going to end up with Spearpoint because of this, but it's disbanded now.)

But I'd also be up for anything else.

Maybe Pak is doing that and wanders into the bar where Romeo is and is whining about being sober and Romeo's all "-shoves beer at- stfu" or whatever.

I dunno how you feel about random chaos and destruction, but this tends to follow Romeo wherever he goes. FYI.

Well, I don't know if that is quite how Pak would be acting... lol.
My original idea was for him, once he landed at whatever spaceport/planet he plugged into the navicomputer, to have a bit of a alcohol withdrawal tantrum right there. But I'm sure I could point him towards a cantina.


A while back Pak was involved in a bit of an unexpected firefight with Shine. So it's not like it hasn't happened before. And since he's a former Republic starfighter pilot, he's no stranger to fighting. Though now, his holster is more likely empty or filled with a bottle of booze, than a blaster.


Do you have any location ideas? I can look the map over to see what's nearby where he is now. (Where he got super drunk and hopped up on deathsticks and got married, and won't remember if afterward. All this from a guy who has sworn off all romantic entanglements, so he had been VERY high and drunk.) I know it was a bit of a random hyperspace jump, but I don't think he would have gotten across the galaxy or anything without hitting a sun or black hole or anything.

EDIT: He'll be coming from Prazhi, so anything in that general area, probably.

I try not to worry too much about maps and locations; I find a likely forum and post in it!

So here's an idea. Perhaps Pak lands and has his tantrum, and Romeo's in the area, and ends up checking it out. And then whatever happens, happens.

I'd like it if you started, and would it bother you if my posts were a bit short? I'm a bit out of practice, you see.

Eh, I like to be at least a little realistic. ;p

I'm game for that. I generally kind of play things by ear anyway, with nothing more than a basic outline in mind.

And that's entirely fine. Once I figure out a location, and sort some other things out, I'll put something up. (I'll probably go mid-outer rim. Unless you have an area of the galaxy in mind that would work best for Romeo?)

And don't worry about the length. It bothers me not. (I've actually been trying to get mine a bit curtailed and not so rambling.)

My WIP character Phe'lan is need of contacting a politician for varying reasons. I think Irrina Icharus would work for this. It may be a bit as I need to get him finished and a few new technologies approved as well, but he should be ready in a few days. PM or reply if interested.

Can you explain more of what you're thinking of? Why he needs a politician, and what Ina would be able to do for him?

Hi Mara,

Phe'lan is looking for getting a contract with galactic republic on the following (but is getting blocked by bigger corporations with corrupt politicians in their pocket books - even though he is pursuing the legal routes etc.)He hopes reaching out to a politician of his own will help, and has a few documents with a signature of a senator will bypass the red tape wall his corporate opponents have set before him:

- artifical limb replacement for republic soldiers, war orphans etc, ones that are much better than what look like droid arms and much more functional including pressure and nervous system feedback (feeling of touch) for a much better price.

- discuss the matter of senator wanting to end slavery, economic repercussions this will have on economies that will depend on it, and his labor droids as a viable alternative to slavery to help curve the economic repercussions.

- the caveat of the above cheaper artificial limbs depends on obtaining mining rights for Borleias asteroid field (canon Borleias has one, galaxy map says is unclaimed), he already has healthy relationship with planets government and can just mine the asteroids as is, however being officially recognized to have claim will keep competing companies operating in republic space or have the republic as a customer from harassing and bothering his operations. His deal with the planet's government includes protecting it's space lanes from pirates which his company will maintain a droid based defense force of their own to take care of this.

The Asteroid belt contains the following resources (none of these are restricted and are not considered rare or exotic far as I know):
- Agrinium
- Diatium
- Farium
- Iron
- Titanium
- Ilinium (The rarest of listed metals above - not stated anywhere that it is rare but is listed as one of the Hyperbarides- otherwise it is used in the manufacture of prosthetics)

-Company also specializes in high dollar regular, and defense droids, and custom starships. (Thought I would mention as I am still working on the company BIO as well as Phe'lans in case you were interested in pursuing something of your own.)

There will be more things in the future as I plan on having his company expand, which means he will want to develop a rapport with a politician he hopes he can trust, and deal with in the future etc. He will also be willing to help via funds, resources, outreach programs, what have you.

Hmm...

I don't know that Ina is necessarily involved in such things, military contracts and business deals and the like. Since she's relatively new to the Senate and doesn't really have her fingers in all the pots, as it were, lol. And even if she was, she doesn't have a lot of supporters/friends in the Senate, and wouldn't be much help on her own in a matter like this.


That said, I would be open to them having some sort of discussion/conversation over his ideas. Since he seems to have similar ideas to her own.

While I'm looking for something with any of my characters, there are some that need RP more than others:
- Ambria... since nothing Mando-related is going on, and her only Mando-related thread has gone idle.
- Ean... after leaving Corellia with his newly discovered daughter, I'll need some plots to get him involved in.
- Ina... after the kidnapping plot, she really has nothing much going on, so I'm up for anything... preferably low-key, lol.
- Pak... I can always use some fun for Pak, whether someone hires him as a pilot, or he gets involved in some kind of adventure.
- Xierra... my Jedi and currently not in any active threads. I am hoping to get something started for her, mission-wise, but I'm unsure when that will get going, and so I need something for her.

And to a lesser extent:
- Looma... currently occupied with a quest to find her sister.  But I'm willing to think of plots past that, once she returns to Korriban. (Besides threading with Neo to have Novus be her master.)
- Trevil... basically almost off limits, unless you find him on some off-time from the Jewel at whatever their next destination is.

Since the majority of the threads I'm in have stalled, I've decided to bump this up and see if I can't get anything new started with any of my characters. They're all open for RP and plots.
