Name: Ashalah “Ash” Ky
(Ash-ah-lah Key)
Race: Togruta
Age: 19
Birthplace: Dantooine, Dantooine system
Allegiance: Herself, her clients
Status: sniper, sharp shooter
Rank: Assassin, Spy
Height/Weight: 4’ 10”, 110 lbs
Eye Color: Purple
Hair Color: N/A
Appearance:
Ash is on the shorter side of life, standing at only 4’9”. However, this is advantageous to her profession as she can conceal herself in much smaller spaces than where one would expect to look for an assassin. Her size also makes her very good at crawling through ventilation shafts. She has a rather slim build and is very fit. Her skin is like rusted copper and her lips are dull gray. The length of her montrols and lekku show her youth, as the former is just beginning to curve, the latter only reaching chest level and just between her shoulder blades. Like all Togrutas, her montrols can detect objects moving through ultrasonic space around her.
She is quite attractive, with large purple eyes and round features. Her montrols are striped with light blue, which gradually fades to dark blue at the tips of her lekku. Her white facial markings are symmetrically pleasing. They consist of three small dots under each eye, with wing-like markings on her cheeks. A diamond-shaped mark with a longer base sits between her eyes, and her forehead bears four triangles pointing towards the center of her face. The two triangles on the outside are smaller than the two on the inside.
Her attire usually consists of a tight, black tank top with dark purple along the right side and bottom like the letter L. The top has a choker-like collar with dark purple strips crossing over a square cut-out on the upper chest. She has two black armbands on each bicep, connected with a vertical piece on the outer arm. She also wears fingerless, elbow-length gloves, with curved cut-outs on the inner side of each wrist. She wears baggy black capri pants, with dark purple along her outer thighs. A black utility belt holds pouches for ammo and food capsules, as well as a holster for her blaster pistol on the right side, and a sheath for her dagger, also on the right. She wears a dark brown wrapped shawl, which lengthens at the back and sides to form a cloak, as well as bearing a large hood. She wears a pair of dark brown boots.
In terms of gadgets, her gauntlets consist of multiple compartments. The compartments along each inner forearm contain a row of multi-centimeter, jagged, ejectable blades, as well as two throwing knives in each to be dispensed directly into her hand. Along the outer side of the right gauntlet is a built-in comlink. The outer side of her left gauntlet contains a line of 15ft long steel wire on a rotating, lockable spool. The free end of the wire, resting just behind her left hand, is securely fastened to a small, pointed metal piece which serves as a grappling hook. The hook and wire is ejected with a push of a button located on the side of her left gauntlet. Another push of the button will retract the wire back into place.
Personality:
Ash grew up being self-sufficient and independent, and those traits carried on into her later life. She has a broad-mind, and can adapt to almost any situation. She has a unique way of looking outside the box to solve problems. Brave and fearless, she will take big risks, such as falling great heights if she knows something will catch her, to make sure that a job gets done. No matter the task, the client can be assured that she will be one of the more reliable and deligent assassins they can hire. She is also shown to be very optimistic and confident in herself and her abilities. Being a straightforward person, Ash is not one to beat around the bush. Also, one can always expect a quick-witted remark from her.
With her quick-witted nature comes her sarcasm, which she jokes that it’s her second language. It may annoy people, but she doesn’t care about what other people think of her as long as it doesn’t affect her job. Ash has two sides of her. When she is on a job, she is cruel and cold-hearted. She is vengeful, and will do whatever she can to see the people who had a hand in the war receive justice. She is very serious, level-headed, and calm. She is dishonest and a good liar, but that is only to get close to a target. She is never dishonest with her clients. However, when she is not on the job, she is known to typically be an impulsive and unpredictable person with a temper as fast as her trigger finger. Ash can never turn a blind eye to the less-fortunate, always willing to give credits to impoverished people or volunteering at shelters when she’s not on a job. Whether she is on the job or not, Ashalah is secretive and stubborn, and will never give up without trying every possible (and sometimes impossible) solution.
Ashalah has an introverted, unemotional, and people-oriented temperament. Towards the right people, she is a real sweetheart, and is thoughtful about others’ emotions. She has a very quiet and stealthy demeanor, being able to switch from serious to humourous like a lightsaber. She has also perfected the art of the poker face. She is also a great listener, compassionate, and sympathetic to people’s needs. However, if someone was involved in the war, they are getting no sympathy or compassion from her.

Biography:
Ashalah was born on Dantooine, a planet in the outer rim that had not yet been touched by the war. However, her father always talked about it when he came home after delivering resources from the Dantooine spaceport. He constantly talked about the negative effects of the war, the refugees, the casualties, the destruction. Ashalah therefore saw no right or wrong sides in the fight. She didn’t care about what the Mandalorians, or the Sith, or the Republic’s views are. Both sides were in the wrong for the destruction.
Ashalah grew up very independent and self-sufficient. She often went out hunting for game when trade ships couldn’t land because of the fighting. What she hunted was either put on her family’s table or sold on the black market. Her father, a worker at the local spaceport, taught her how to use a blaster when she was 8. He also trained her in knife throwing. Since she was small, it was best for her to become more skilled in range attacks instead of close quarter fighting. He also taught her how to fly hover crafts, and the controls weren't that different between those and larger space craft. Her father worked as a military officer for the Republic before he was injured in battle and discharged, where he moved to Dantooine and settled down.
When Ashalah was 16, after hearing about the war for years, she decided that she wanted to stop it even if she had to do it on her own. She left her home on a ship she "borrowed" from the spaceport and traveled to Coruscant, only knowing the location from the most common coordinates that were inputted into the ship. She lived there a few years, building a solid profession as an assassin. She decided that any leader that had a hand in the war needed to be stopped, even if she had to become a killer to do see that. She became successful in the business because of her father's instruction in blasters and ranged attacks. Now she lives without a true home, going from planet to planet for work. Most of the time, she can be found with other Fringers. She works as a hireable assassin, taking out targets who have a hand in the war, or who goes for a high enough price. She goes by the alias “Ash”, after the ash that fell from the sky after her home was burned.
Roleplay Sample: Breath in. Breath out. That was the most that was running through Ashalah’s mind at the moment. In. Out. She was currently tucked away on a rafter above a very large floor space. Delegates, Senators, and others sat around a long table, but Ashalah didn’t care for them. Her attention, like everyone else in the room, was drawn to the man at the head of the table. However, they had their attention drawn for much different purposes.
Breath in. Breath out.
The head of the table, a Mandalorian senator, was delivering his speech on the current civil war. Ashalah glared at him through the scope of her sniper. Her client had put a rather large price on his head, but the assassin had matters more important than money on the brain. The senator had a hand in the war, and judging by the direction his speech was going, a rather large hand. He needed to be removed from the picture immediately.
In. Out.
Ashalah’s finger wrapped around the trigger. He began to call for support. Ashalah breathed in. He spoke of the necessity for more troops to further the war effort. She adjusted her aim. He spoke of a rather inhabited planet in the outer rim that would serve as a supply base for the soldiers. She breathed out. He mentioned clear-cutting the forests and forcing the citizens from their homes, for the benefit of their cause. Ash pulled the trigger.
A shocked gasp and screams of terror rang out as the senator dropped like a rock. Guards flooded in and began their search but it would be too late. The assassin was already gone.
