Head –
Avoim has a relatively normal shaped head, somewhat oval in shape. He has a normal length nose with a larger bridge to it, the nostrils themselves have a thin profile to them making his nose more or less “stream-lined” as he likes to call them. His lips are relatively thin, if a little thick near the center of his mouth, on the left side of his face just starting below his left nostril and going right above his chin is a good sized hypodermic scar that has long since healed. He keeps relatively short hair with a more coiffed and suave shape to it near the top that sweeps to the left.
He has a small beard with no moustache that extends perfectly from his hairline under his chin that has about an inch or two of growth to it, his eyebrows are of a relatively normal thickness, if a bit thick compared to some others. His hair color is blonde, though closer to the platinum blonde side depending on lighting. Finally his eyes, they are shaped like “flattened ovals” as he himself describes them and has brown pupils.
Body –
Standing at roughly Six Feet and Two inches weighing about two hundred and fifty pounds. He is naturally pale, if a bit on the tanned side. Despite being in his forties he keeps himself relatively in shape, even continuing to have a well-built abdomen. Never having been one to skip leg day his legs are well toned and built as well. He is somewhat tanned from a lifetime spent in the sunlight or other harsh elements. His arms are very well toned due to his Jedi Training and making sure that he was strong enough to handle the rigors of being a privateer. On his right shoulder there is a large cross shaped scar that has healed, as well as a wealth of scars on his back from various different incidents.
Clothing –
He wears a very military style outfit usually, not one to shy away from what he is or what he does. Avoim’s usual attire is of a tan coloring though he does have it in various camouflaged colors as well. His pants are of a Cargo Pants style with several pockets on both legs including one on each butt cheek. His shirt has a total of four cargo style pockets as well, one on each breast and a set of larger ones perfectly centered with the centers of the breast ones but located on his abdomen. He wears black military style boots that lace up, on his knees he wears heavy duty knee pads in case he needs to crawl. On his right leg he keeps a blaster holster with enough space for two clips of small and medium sizes which clips to his black utility belt that has various pouches for items. On the left side of his belt is where his Lightsaber usually hangs in a special case designed for easy access for his right hand, also so he can telekinetically grab the Lightsaber.
On his abdomen he wears a black protective vest that is then covered by various wrappings that resemble the wrappings of his old Jedi outfit. On his hands he wears two black cloth gloves that are missing the fingers of the gloves. On the side of his right upper arm near his shoulder is his own personal emblem that to show that he works for himself, built into the elbows of his beige battle coat are sturdy elbow pads that are flexible enough to not stop his movement. Finally under his coat is a black formfitting Tee Shirt that he can be seen wearing in down times.
Personality:
Avoim is a hard man, having experienced many things that would turn even the most noble of Jedi Knights. Avoim having been a former Jedi who left amidst a scandal is one who tends to be very harsh in how he reacts to the world around him. Though he is not without his good moments or his kind moments, but mostly he tends to view the world through a harsher lens, looking for those who might betray him and seeking to stop them. When it comes to combat, Avoim is a fierce combatant who constantly seeks out the weaknesses of his opponents in a fight.
When he’s around his crew, or at least the more trusted members, he tends to be much more relaxed. Though never without his mental guard up. He can be seen smiling more often than not and just happier in general. He doesn’t seek to so much one-up the Jedi Council as much as serve his own ends now. When the topic of his time with the Jedi Order or his dismissal or even just the Order itself is brought up, he seeks to distance himself from the conversation, end it or just outright change the topic.
When it comes to the jobs he tends to take, he looks not for the money first but how much enjoyment he can derive from it. The more boring the mission or dull it is the more he tends to ask for the completion of the mission. On the flipside the more he finds himself not so much enjoying, but getting his adrenaline pumped from the mission the less he tends to ask, but the more that he takes in loot from the mission itself.
Two other aspects of Avoim that few know of is that he is a pretty charismatic guy. In the academy he was one of the more popular kids, if one of the “troublemakers” of the academy. He was also one of the most trustworthy students, willing to protect his other academy students even if they did something that caused Avoim to get in trouble. These two aspects are factors of Avoim that stayed after all this time, even after his leaving the Jedi Order.

Biography:
Avoim was born in the year 3639 on the planet of Dantooine, his parents were simple farmers of a nondescript background. Not that he would remember, by the time he was roughly one year old in the year of 3638 he was taken by the Jedi Order for training as a Jedi, something that some would call a grand occupation full of adventure. Avoim, looking back, would grow to hate the life the Jedi had in mind for him.
Avoim’s early years in the Jedi Academy were relatively similar to what most Jedi would likely achieve. A great deal of his training was focused on the more academic topics though in their most basic forms. When it came to the Physical Training that Avoim underwent, like most Jedi, his body was given the rigorous physical training that most Jedi would need in order to survive the later training in life. Another aspect of his early life from the academy was that he, along with other Younglings, were shown the various lightsaber duels and even practice duels between experienced Jedi Knights.
During this point of his life, he was somewhat popular in his class for being the more adventurous kind of student, though he tended to find himself in trouble for doing things that were frowned upon that usually arose from dares from other students. Though the Academy teachers always doubted him when he said that it was all his idea to do the things that he did, when pressed he never turned on his fellow Academy students, leading to one of his main issues with the Order his finding them too strict and demanding.
Avoim’s early years in the Jedi Academy prior to becoming a full on Padawan Learner, but after he would be too old to outright be called a Youngling, was similar to most other Jedi’s, full of a good deal of book learning and the basics of the physical training he would one day undergo. Mostly the physical aspects revolved around bringing his body up to snuff to handle the later training. When he was old enough to start his training in the more physically demanding aspects of the Jedi life, namely Lightsaber Combat Training, he had a more ferocious approach to his way of combat than most of his peers.
Whilst it wasn’t necessarily looked down upon, nor even really frowned upon because many good Jedi before him had a similar approach, it was a slightly worrying thing to see. Whereas most of his classmates took a more methodical or even slow style to fighting. When his teachers and other academy higher ups would discuss this with him, the only response he could give was that he sought to end fights quickly for the benefit of those who might be hurt by it.
Continuing his diligent training, Avoim worked hard every day at all his given tasks. Being on par with most of the Academy when it was growing towards the end of his time at the Academy a certain amount of worry crept into the young Avoim. Thinking himself too much like the rest of the students at the Academy he didn’t know if he would be impressive enough to find himself under the tutelage of a Knight or Master. It was then that Avoim noticed a female Anzati Jedi Master, named Fein Santorini, she was well known as an exemplary user of the Force Power known as Electric Judgement.
It was around the time of his thirteenth birthday when she approached him for the first time and spoke to him, telling him that he would become her Padawan. Though ecstatic about the revelation he had but one question on his mind: Why him? When he asked this, she told him that she saw a potential in him to become a Master of the power she was known for using due to his natural talent with The Force. She felt that the power he exhibited with his innate use of it would best be used in mastering the Electric Judgement. With that the young Jedi boy born on Dantooine found himself having a Jedi Master to teach him.
For the next eight years Avoim and his Master spent a good bit of time roaming the galaxy. A lot of their downtime was spent training, Avoim being more combat focused than most of his class was taught the more heavily combat reliant styles of Makashi, Ataru and Shien/Djem-So. Though he excelled in the use of Ataru his Master felt it best to have him well rounded in all three, but also gave him some training in the basics of the form known as Soresu.
For Ataru, a style with which she too was well trained in, his Master saw to his training herself. Though for the other forms she had arranged for various other Masters to aid in his training to a degree, ensuring he knew at least the fundamentals of each. Though it became readily clear to both him and her that a second form he excelled at was Shien/Djem-So, but he was never as good at it as he was Ataru and Makashi he never could grasp so much. The teacher who taught him Soresu knew that the only reason either of the two sought for him to learn the style was to help him survive longer and that even Avoim didn’t find much use in the form itself and so only taught Avoim its basics.
During this time, only one mission truly is worth recognizing for Avoim. It was supposed to be a simple escort mission taking the leader of some organization, Avoim never bothered to learn the name of the protectee as he found these missions dull much to his Master’s chagrin. The job seemed simple enough, he and his Master were to fly fighter escort in loaned out F/A-47 Venom Strike Fighters whilst the person they were protecting was inside of a small corvette. The met up with their escort above the moons of Iago and then travel to straight to the planet of Corellia where the man was to go to give a speech or some such. There was only one stop planned on the journey and that was just a flight correction stop, quite brief just to avoid some stellar mass from the battles in the area.
It was seemingly a short trip however as not too long after entering hyperspace the trio of ships were forced to leave hyperspace due to the planned stop, it was then that the two Sith capital ships were upon them. Energy lancing out all around them, to this day Avoim still doesn’t know how the three managed to escape. However thanks to his many hours in a flight simulator, his training in the force and a little luck the three managed to make the Jump to lightspeed and get out of the conflict before the fighter screens from the two Sith Capital ships overwhelmed them with their superior numbers.
The rest of the mission, though tense was a relatively easy flight. The only reason this mission sticks out to Avoim even now all these years later is purely because of all the bad luck mixed with good luck. It is also the only story of his time as a Padawan Avoim is really willing to share with others, likely to illustrate his skill at even such a young age.
Avoim spent took a day to find the cave using the Force to guide him to the heavily force imbued point, freezing he slowly entered the cave and marveled at the shine of all the crystals on the cave. Avoim then sat himself down in the center of the cave and began to meditate. As he did, unbeknownst to him the lightsaber components began to float around him, though this unknowing didn’t last long as he found the crystal he was meant for at this point in his life broke itself free of the wall and floated itself to him. It was then that he realized the parts were floating around him and he slowly assembled his lightsaber; using powers he was not too strong with he managed to seat his crystal, the part of the training that was considered the hardest by far, doing a more than adequate job at doing so.
The lightsaber, though basic in design since it was given to him by the council with little time to make the hilt his own, came together relatively quickly. Tightening the screws and such, then testing it he would notice for the first time that the blade was green, taking this as a sign from the Force he was ready and finished building his lightsaber he returned to the ship that the council watchers had brought him in and showed them his completed lightsaber, earning him a passing score on the test.
In that one brief moment that it took for the watcher to recover the young Jedi Padawan aiming to be a Knight was upon him. Using the strong slashes of Shien/Djem-so, the elegant strikes of Makashi and the quick strikes of Ataru Avoim proved his skills with the blade. The fight was a short one after that sudden switch, only designed to test Avoim’s tactical senses, this was the second easiest or easiest depending on who you asked. Having been well trained by his Master the young Jedi was able to show his skills with the Force and the Lightsaber. At the same time, this test was also used to test his courage.
By not backing down and staying calm, Avoim was able to show his mental strength and keep himself composed in a rapidly changing and unknown situation, which was one of the councils biggest worries with allowing the young Jedi to participate in the trials. It was then that they boarded the ship and returned to the Academy in which Avoim was trained at for most of his life.
Though this was a long trip, taking days to get from Illum back to the council, though by the second day it was shown that he would not break and the watchers with him all relented and gave him a passing score on the trial. The last two days of the journey were a blur as Avoim went in and out of consciousness before falling into a meditative state with the aid of one of the Jedi Master’s with him.
It was then that the head of this council approached Avoim and told him that the life of a Jedi Knight was not an easy one, that it was full of hardships but that perhaps the hardest was the teaching of a pupil and that if he was ready to affirm his dedication to the order, when he did the council Master cut off his Padawan braid and named Avoim a Knight of the Republic.
After becoming a Jedi Knight, Avoim opted to instead of take a pupil spend a few years in the Academy learning and Mastering his chosen form in addition to something else, something special. During this time he also chose to learn and becoming quite adept at the use of the Jedi Martial Arts known as Broken Gate. It was during this time that Avoim became an Expert at the use of the Ataru Lightsaber form, with the others remaining more or less where they had been. Though his distrust of the council started to grow because of some of the duller missions they sent him on. To him he seemed more like the person you’d send to a hotspot or an escort not to some diplomatic area.
Though he was more than adequate at doing the Diplomatic missions he found them a waste of his time as a Jedi. About three years into his seclusion and training, as well as random mission assignments, Avoim decided that it was time to take a pupil. Spending the next year scouting the prospective Padawans only one really caught his eye. A young Togruta Jedi named Vict Corr, he showed great potential as a Lightsaber duelist and with the more combat oriented force Powers. He also had a strength to him, though not a physical one. The young Padawan Corr had a strong bond to the Force, which Avoim recognized and respected.
The two spent a year in the temple still where he trained the boy in what he knew and saw to it that he got trained in various other aspects of the Jedi that Avoim himself was not strong in. He saw to it that the young boy had a level of training that Avoim didn’t due to his lack of skills in areas where the boy was more than adequate at.
After the year of temple training, Avoim thought it was time to take the boy on a mission. The mission was supposed to be simple, escorting a man who felt his life was in danger from some bounty hunters on a remote planet. Avoim feeling that the boy was more than strong enough kept the young Corr with the man’s daughter, who was going out to do some shopping. Though the man had misspoke to Avoim and the council when requesting their aid, it wasn’t just him that was being targeted, but the entire family.
During this outing to go shopping was when the Bounty Hunter and his small group attacked the duo; though the young boy was able to get the daughter to escape safely to the building where Avoim and her Father were, where she told them what happened, by the time Avoim arrived the Bounty Hunters were finishing the boy off, putting a blaster bolt through his skull, Avoim in a fit of rage struck down the bounty hunters in a quick and rapid succession of lightsaber strikes.
After the bounty hunters were dead, it was safe once more for the man luckily shortly after this the man was able to pay his debt off to a local crimelord and had his name unmarked. Avoim then returned to the council with the body of his apprentice, it was during this time that an inquiry into what had happened began. The goal of this was to find if Avoim was at fault, though the council would eventually decide him not responsible for the Padawan’s death as no one could have predicted what would happen, Avoim still felt like they were blaming him.
This would darken the hole in his heart he’d had for a number of years, that was held steady for quite some time, though he wouldn’t let them know it he had already began to find himself mentally at odds for the longest time with the council for this.
For a time after the death of his Padawan and the Inquiry into said Death, the council kept Avoim on easier missions hoping to ease him back into the regular missions he was used to taking or wanted to take. However, this only made the hole in Avoim’s heart towards the Order darker and larger and he began to see the dull diplomatic missions as them keeping him away from the action as punishment for allowing the Padawan to die.
It was during this time that Avoim, during a normal walk through the temple, overheard two Jedi Masters whom he didn’t know speaking about his Padawan’s death. They said it was his fault that the Padawan died that he was an incompetent teacher and protector of the Padawan. That why should he be trusted to help safeguard trillions of lives when he failed to protect one. This angered Avoim, and in a rather angered mindset he went back to his room within the temple and locked himself in with several datapads. On them were all the records of his time in the Order along with annotations and notes from various Masters including his own.
In these records were very frank discussions about his chances as a Jedi due to his lack of strengths in some other areas. Though his mind glossed over where the order praised his abilities, his mind did this due to his anger at what he had overheard. When he later would bring this before the council, they tried to dissuade him that the opinions he’d overheard were just that, opinions. But in his anger he wouldn’t have it and instead removed his crystal from his Lightsaber and tossed the now inactive weapon at their feet.
He then threw away the shackles that the Order placed on him by formally renouncing his membership in the galaxy spanning organization, some would call this an idiotic move that he would make. That he was throwing a life that many coveted out as if it were nothing, but to him he felt like he was making the first real choice of his entire life, the first time he ever truly had a say in things.
Shortly after his leaving the Jedi Order, having nothing much to his name Avoim decided to make his first task building his Lightsaber. Taking a few jobs here and there as a sort of proto-mercenary mainly out of random bars and cantina’s from random planets Avoim built a small fortune for himself. It was with that money he was able to buy all the necessary parts, some of which were able to be pulled from random part piles in various junkshops around the galaxy, such as the wiring and the actual shell of the lightsaber.
Other parts were harder to find, and more expensive, though after about five months of taking various kinds of jobs that were sometimes legal and sometimes illegal Avoim was able to purchase all the parts he needed. After which he secluded himself in a small apartment room for a week, just perfectly tuning and seating his Lightsaber with its crystal. Avoim happy with his new lightsaber knew that his life was meant for something completely separate from the Order.
Shortly after building his Lightsaber, Avoim knew that it was time to make himself not just a sort of Proto-Mercenary who only did Mercenary style work to get the parts to build his Lightsaber but to go full in on the task. After doing some more Mercenary work on his own, he gathered enough credits to purchase a small and capable freighter, it was then that he gathered a few capable allies to join his Mercenary crew. The first to find Avoim was Kerribecca, a Wookiee that Avoim had previously saved during his time trying to acquire the funds to rebuild his Lightsaber, the Wookiee had sworn that if Avoim ever did go full in on the Mercenary lifestyle that he would join up with him, and true to his word the Wookiee did.
The second and “third” to join were C-6DT and T4-R7. CeeSix was a protocol droid that was fluent in the languages and customs of over two million languages and TeeFour was an Astromech Droid programed more for helping fly larger ships, or sometimes outright flying them on his own as long as the maneuvers weren’t too complex. Both were purchased at the same time from a junk dealer who was dying to get rid of them since he’d had them for several years and just wanted to be rid of them. The next one to join was the Spy, or as she liked to be called Intelligence Operative named Aleha Velos. She was also a decent hacker who had heard, through her various networks of Avoim’s crew.
The next two were the Aqualish brother and sister duo of Kalen and Mya Cata. Kalen, the elder of the two, was a deft combatant with blaster rifles and pistols, trained by the military of his people when he was younger. Mya was a sniper, also trained in their military she excelled at the art of finding cover and long range shots making her the perfect choice for a sniper. The next person to join was actually found by dumb luck, the freighter Avoim had purchased had been damaged in a small fire fight during a mission and was in need of some repairs, when the crew arrived on the small dust ball known as Tattooine they met a small being of the Aleena species named Tegan Osh.
The small female of the species introduced herself and said she’d repair the ship for free if she could join the crew. When asked why she wanted such, she explained that she’d been stuck on the mudball in debt to a hutt and unable to pay them off and incapable of piloting a starship herself. Figuring having an expert with technology and an adept mechanic aboard would be quite useful so Avoim accepted her offer. Finally, the last member of Avoim’s main crew was a Barabel who excelled at tracking, explosives and just general combat.
A gold mine with the only issue being her temperament, the Barabel was more than perfect for his crew. After having picked her up, along with many others who wanted to join but didn’t have the space for them in his freighter, Avoim decided that it was time to upgrade his crew and get a ship big enough to not only hold his fighter but a few more, along with other goodies…
After some time getting to know his main living crew members, he and they took a few high risk missions, including assassinations and escorts. Bodyguards and even a few high profile heists of technology. Avoim and his crew were able to purchase for themselves various weapons and munitions, not only for the main group but enough for those he had in reserve. The money was not that hard for the group to acquire, the hardest missions being the illegal ones but they too paid quite well.
During this time, Avoim had Aleha look for any potential chances to get a larger ship, a better ship. It was around this time that a small battle had broken out between the Hutt Cartel and the Sith, with the Hutt forces being decimated to the last but the Sith nearly being decimated, leaving but a single one of their Seeker class vessels in any sort of condition. It had suffered a great deal of damage including to its communications equipment, the battle having happened within sensor range of the small ship that Avoim and crew had been using was able to get a decent idea of the battle and knew that the ship would be easy pickings.
Approaching the ship with their own, as if to render aid, the crew of the Seeker class vessel allowed Avoim’s ship to dock via one of its docking rings and allowed them access to the ship. The Sith were then taught a valuable lesson that they took to the grave as Avoim lead the charge into their ship, cutting down the few that were capable of fighting almost as easily as those who weren’t. The crew then took over the ships system, making it so they could pilot it without the Sith’s access codes. While the Seeker was broken into, Avoim had the Barabel Sek’nos prepare the old freighter for destruction to help the Sith think that their forces were wiped out.
The whole process took less than five hours to prepare, when the crew detached the old freighter, the detonated it after reaching a safe distance and left with the new corvette that had four damaged rapiers in its hanger bays. A good haul that day was had as the crew returned to their makeshift base on a small planet that was in the outer rim. Where they would spend the next two years repairing the seeker, changing its IFF information and even its name to read as the Sacred Nova. The Hull repairs made the ship look like it was more or less the same, but the IFF transponder change sealed the deal in hiding it from the Sith Empire.
During these two years Avoim had Aleha use her contacts to keep an eye on the Sith to ensure they weren’t looking for the seeker they had lost, thankfully the decoy destruction of the Freighter served as enough scrap and melted metal for the Sith to write it off as a complete and total wipe of the ships involved in that battle along with the dead bodies floating in the space around that area, all life for that Sith force was considered lost.
For the next eight years, Avoim and his crew would continue to run various kinds of missions in their stolen ship. The operating system that made the computer work having long since been rewritten from scratch by their Hacker. The ship was completely crewed with the eight members of Avoims normal crew as well as himself but with up to ten additional members, some of whom were dedicated fighter pilots in the Rapiers that the ship had with them and were repaired.
Only recently having mastered the Ataru Lightsaber form, Avoim also during this time had his two Aqualish crew members teach him more than enough about how to handle a Blaster Rifle and Pistol, not up to their equally Mastered levels, but more than enough should he find himself in need of using the two items.
Avoim some time later decided it was time to expand from a single ship to a larger organization. The crew agreed with him and they decided it was time to name their group. After about a week of discussion and voting the name “The Legion of the Damned” would be their name with Avoim as its leader. With this the crew celebrated for about another week before they really did anything…
Roleplay Sample:
“SIR! SIR! We found the ship we’ve been looking for sir!” Shouted Aleha as she entered the Captain’s quarters. The room itself was quite Spartan, kept that way by design. It was still the standard grey coloring that the Sith Empire tended to keep its interiors to for uniformity. There was a small bed, more comfortable than a cot but not luxurious by any means, a small desk where several datapads were kept and a small computer terminal in which the now not so young Avoim Oeymo did most of his work. On the far side of the room, compared to the bed at least, was a small bathroom area that contained a toilet and a Sonic Shower, on the other wall of it inside the room proper was a two small cabinet style dressers. The first of which kept all of Avoim’s clothing and the second which kept his weapons and his armor.
Avoim was still in his bed, sleeping from having been up all night keeping an eye on the ship itself in the most general of senses. He had only just fallen to sleep when the younger woman barged in, sitting up revealed the scars that were covering his back, if she were looking at his back at least. By now most members of his crew knew he only slept in his boxers and were accustomed to this if they barged in on him when he was in there trying to sleep. Avoim, still quite tired, looked at her groggily and said in a tired voice “Did we? Or is this going to be another sensor ghost you have us chasing?”
The young human woman shook her head vigorously and said “No Sir, this time I am sure of it, we found the ship hauling the hostage we’ve been looking for, we have the jump on them as we’re just outside of their max sensor range and they are barely within ours, on your command we can be on them with our Rapiers launching, I have already ordered them to stand-by.” For a moment Avoim, still tired, was confused when she said she’d had the Rapiers ready and on standby and then he remembered that it was only a month ago that he’d promoted her to second-in-command of the ship to help smooth things out when he was sleeping or just unavailable.
Groggily rubbing his eyes he nodded his head “Commence the Operation, I’ll be out shortly, and have some Caf ready for me I have a feeling I’m going to need it before this is done…” The woman saluted him and then ran out of his room back to the bridge to begin the operation, the man then walked over to the Sonic Shower and took a quick shower before getting dressed. As he got dressed he could feel the ship lurch as it suddenly entered Hyperspace. Groaning a bit, he couldn’t help but think that whoever was on Caf duty better have brewed something strong, or else he wouldn’t likely be awake enough to deal with this…

Biography:
Birth
Avoim was born in the year 3639 on the planet of Dantooine, his parents were simple farmers of a nondescript background. Not that he would remember, by the time he was roughly one year old in the year of 3638 he was taken by the Jedi Order for training as a Jedi, something that some would call a grand occupation full of adventure. Avoim, looking back, would grow to hate the life the Jedi had in mind for him.
Young Life
Avoim’s early years in the Jedi Academy were relatively similar to what most Jedi would likely achieve.
Jedi Academy, Youngling
Jedi Academy, Padawan
Jedi Training, Padawan
Jedi Training, Becoming a Knight
Leading up to the Trials
Leading up to the decision to allow Avoim to undertake the trials was a period of much confusion and uncertainty. Whilst his Master petitioned to the Council to allow him to take it, the Masters who sat on the council were unsure of it, not quite sure he was ready for them. During one such meeting Avoim was brought in to see the deliberations and hear their reasoning, to which Avoim had a moment of his own abilities being greater than some would estimate and said that he would willingly take all of the Trials with the Trial of Spirit being the last one. After several days of deliberation after that, the council agreed and said the first task that he would be given would be the creation of his own personal Lightsaber.Building his Lightsaber
This test was perhaps the easiest one he would face. After being ferried to the planet of Ilum, Avoim had the Lightsaber he’d been using for the last decade or so of his life taken and instead handed everything he would need to craft his own save the crystal. For that he would need to find the Crystal cave and find his own Crystal which resonated with him. Agreeing the young Avoim headed off into the cold of the planet only allowed to use the force to guide him. What no one had told him however, was that this trial had aspects of almost all the other ones as a primer. Most knights who performed this stage were brought straight to the caves and told to meditate.Avoim spent took a day to find the cave using the Force to guide him to the heavily force imbued point, freezing he slowly entered the cave and marveled at the shine of all the crystals on the cave.
Trials of Skill and Courage
It was almost right after handing the young Jedi his lightsaber back that another activated their own and leapt at him. Quickly activating his Lightsaber and falling back on one of the basics tenants of Soresu Avoim caught the cyan blade with his own emerald one. The watcher attacked him fiercly to which Avoim found himself having a hard time holding his own. This continued, with the watcher pushing the young Avoim back harshly Avoim utilizing his weak control of the power of Electric Judgement made the snow between the two explode creating a wall of snow.In that one brief moment that it took for the watcher to recover the young Jedi Padawan aiming to be a Knight was upon him.
Trial of the Flesh
As they returned to the Academy it was made clear to Avoim that it was time for his next trial. Several Masters surrounded him after having suddenly strapped him down to a chair in the small shuttle. They then began to sear him with the Force using a Lightning he was quite familiar with, using small brands to test his physical resistance. Though he screamed, they all questioned him for hours regarding information they knew he knew but wanted to see if he’d break and tell them. Refusing, he was put through hours of the torture all the way back to the council.Though this was a long trip, taking days to get from Illum back to the council, though by the second day it was shown that he would not break and the watchers with him all relented and gave him a passing score on the trial. The last two days of the journey were a blur as Avoim went in and out of consciousness before falling into a meditative state with the aid of one of the Jedi Master’s with him.
Trial of the Spirit
It was in this Meditative state that the young Jedi faced his worse trial yet, he was forced to face an ominous being wielding a crimson red Lightsaber. Though he fought the being with all his might, the shadowy figure proved too strong for the young man. The figure cackling revealed itself to be an older version of himself, a dark tainted Avoim that was hellbent on destroying the Jedi and everything the young man stood for at this point. It was then that Avoim somehow was able to get a second wind and beat the shadowy figure back, defeating but not destroying him. Affirming that whilst he had his issues with the order he would never become the evil before him.End of the Trials
Shortly after returning from the trip to Ilum was when the young Jedi was told to meet with the council. Having been given a day to rest after the trials, the young Jedi met with them almost immediately and was given the joyous news regarding his status. In a dark room, surrounded by the council that resided at the academy with the room only illuminated by the glow of their Lightsabers the council all recited the code of the Jedi, one by one and line by line.It was then that the head of this council approached Avoim and told him that the life of a Jedi Knight was not an easy one, that it was full of hardships but that perhaps the hardest was the teaching of a pupil and that if he was ready to affirm his dedication to the order, when he did the council Master cut off his Padawan braid and named Avoim a Knight of the Republic.
Jedi Knight
An Unfortunate Happening
Discovering The Truth
Rebuilding his Lightsaber
Becoming a Mercenary
Getting His Tech
Current Life
For the next eight years, Avoim and his crew would continue to run various kinds of missions in their stolen ship.
