Ain’t No Mountain High Enough
Alright, folks. Here’s the gist.
About two standard weeks ago, some private firm called Corvus Archeological started a digging project in the Santelli Mountains. That’s the Santellis on the Alderaan, their tallest, most rough mountain range. Anyways, they got all the right permits and stuff beforehand. One week ago, they released a collection of holoimages of their digging site. These images really got the Council’s attention. Someone mentioned it being the tomb of Lokar Ulgo, a Jedi Knight from like three thousand years ago, and one of the founding members of the Ulgo House on Alderaan. Jedi representatives reached out to Corvus, and sure enough, they all but confirmed that’s what their find is.
You should really see these pictures, guys. Even the entrance is huge and grand and all. No idea why we never found it before. Someone in our science department said something about the metal in the mountains and sensors and whatever. ANYWAYS…
Corvus Archeological also denied the Jedi Order access to the digsite. Not good. Some crap about protesting the Order’s involvement with the recent pacification efforts on Yag’Dhul. Apparently the dig is being led by a Givin. Vul Yarst or something. The Alderaanians can’t step in, as Corvus already got the permits before the find was announced, and they can control access. Master Shatani reached out personally to the firm, and they wanna meet with him, as he was involved with the stuff on Yag’Dhul. I’ve been assigned as well. Master Shatani has asked I reach out and find other volunteers to go with us to Alderaan. He’s very optimistic.
And also above using the Temple’s HLS network when he’s got a Knight to do it for him, apparently.
Just kidding. He’s probably watching me type this. ANYWAYS…
We’re looking for about two or three more Jedi for our little trip. People who are good with talking. Who know their tombs and artifacts. People who know Alderaan, or perhaps have even run into Corvus before. That sorta thing. And you’ve gotta be available now. Right now. We wanna leave ASAP (well, Master Shatani set the timetable, actually, so we is relative…)
I’m gunna go warm up the ship soonest I’m done here, in fact.
