"Contray to my previous compliement if Guilde is the only abilty you possess then it is useless."
Tesa’s jaw kind of rolled to the side, her eyebrows furrowing some as she thought about what Daren just said. She gave him a look that read ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about’ expression written across it. Of course, he wasn’t paying attention to her accusing ‘you’re a nut’ face. He was meditating. Hmph. Meditating. There was no way she was meditating on this field. Not when anything could happen.
Her eyes leveled back to Xavier and this Vreem character. She shuffled a knee up and rested her chin on the top. She didn’t have to lean over very much; she had long legs. Tesa unconsciously curled a hand over her ankle and the other arm was dropped onto what lap of hers was left. It was an odd position, but Tesa usually took it upon herself to sit in the oddest of sitting positions. When she stood, it appeared easier than when she sat. Though uncomfortable it may seem to another, it was her observing platform. This way, she could rest her head easy and watch others as event unfolded before her eyes, literally.
She knew Vreem was up to something when he lifted a hand toward the broken and spinning pillar. The studied the intensity of the Force, marveled by the mass amounts each person was controlling. She was most definitely envious. With a quick check on the emotion, she told herself someday, like any optimistic young apprentice, that such power would be hers.
Heh, kind of a childish whim and an outrageous goal of a Sith crammed into one statement. Tesa amused herself for a moment.
Her chin came up off her knee cap and she blinked when the pillar exploded. Right there, halfway to its target. Four good sized chunks of stone thudded into the sands at the edges of the battlefield. Wind swept through again and carried the sand in all kind of swirling directions, the patterns of the air making sand devils that sprayed across Tesa and Daren’s spot. She ducked her head against her thigh and closed her eyes, arms placed around her head to hold the hood of her cloak in place. Tesa was not keen on getting sand trapped in her ears or eyes. Or having to go shower and send little bits of sand dashing everywhere, creating something more she’d just have to clean. Ugh. Cleaning was for droids.
As soon as the wind died down, she lifted a cautious eye. She observed the floating, four chunks of boulder and instantly had a dreading feeling. Her foot twitched to move, but Tesa remained seated. She wasn’t even sure if Vreem planned on hurtling all four at Xavier or what.
“You were wrong about the first time, Daren,” she called over. “Something exploded, not crashed. However, this time I think you might be right.” Vreem’s hand made a throwing motion at her and Daren, and two of the decent sized boulders swam through the air after them. “Something’s going to crash and attempt to crush us.”
Tesa used the Force to slow time down some for her, gather a thought or two, quickly analyze. Maybe she over thought some things but it was just Tesa’s nature. That boulder was coming quick, and there was too much power around it for her to simply hold up a hand and stop the onrush. This was going to get ugly on her part. Her back was to a stone wall. That boulder was going to collide with the wall and more pieces were going to crumble.
Time sped up again and Tesa was in time to make a sideways jump, the motion smoothly eased with enough Force to get her something out of the way. The boulder contacted her ledge and the wall, and the rock shower began. She jumped from the ledge as it crumbled and began propelling away from the contact site. Gravel shards exploded behind her and a section of stone hit the back of her legs. And Tesa lost her balance enough to slip in the sands awkwardly on her landing. Her foot went forward and she ended up twisting around and landing flat on her stomach and getting a mouthful of sand.
Note to self: react first, think later, maybe.
What was worse is she had ended up near Daren. A bit of dust was stirred from her tumble in the red sands. She groaned lightly, her upper body beginning to throb from the belly flop on the ground. Tesa rolled over first, after spitting out the grains of sand, and gained the breath that had been driven from her.
And she realized what she had been trying to prevent in the slight sandstorm had been in vain. There was sand everywhere now, trickling around her neck as she rolled over and tumbling among the black locks covering her head. She rolled her knees up, clasped them and rolled herself into an upright sitting position. Her hood had fallen back for the first time since before she met Daren. Her right eye twitched violently as sand fell over the collar of her robes and cascaded down her back. Ugh. She shook her head, sand pattering the ground as it fell from her hair. Her mouth worked and she spat out another wet wad of sand.
“Oops,” was all she could manage to say for her performance. Tesa reached over her head and took the hood, giving it a vigorous shake to rid of the collected sand. Then, with a hand on her chest a mouthed ‘ow’, she stood to her feet. Again, the eye twitched clearly once more as the sand rubbed annoyingly against her skin.
That was your most graceful fall yet, Tesa.
Still clawing at sand trapped around her tongue and working it from around her teeth, Tesa once more focused on Vreem and Xavier. She was going to stand from here on out, bounce on her feet, and await for something else to literally fly her way. Again. She was going to dodge or counter every attack made her way, while all the while wonder where that one Jedi had gotten off to.

Ryn watched as the mask crumbled away and quickly revealed the extent of Grawn's rage. His face was so twisted with rage that he honestly did not look human, he looked like some sort of alien unseen by civilization up until now. Ryn was about to thrust his blade foreword, essentially ending this man's life, when all of a sudden he caught a glimpse of the lightsaber speeding into Grawn's hand.
Then it felt as if a great hand came and shoved him with all of its might, he was quickly sent sprawling backwards. Ryn would have been thrown to the ground if it were not for quick thinking; as he tumbled through the air he used the force to send a powerful spike of energy towards the ground, he did a cool looking flip in mid-air and landed just as a miniature sand-storm caused by his little maneuver erupted over the battleground.
Sundar barely had time to look up before Grawn sent a powerful wave of the Force at him. Ryn could barely think before this wave overtook him and consequently exploded, throwing him a fairly long distance. The Jedi knight hit the rust colored sand hard. . . the explosion had taken a lot out of him; his face was bloody and scared, it felt like he had a few cracked or broken ribs, and he could swear that he did not hear those bells ringing before the explosion, but he could not vouch for that one.
Ryn slowly and painfully got up, gave a deep sigh, and used the Force to put his lightsaber back in his hand, he ignited one end almost the instant that the lightsaber met his grasp. It looked as if the miniature sandstorm had now calmed, but serendipitously, it did give him one thing before it died: Time. The storm gave him enough time to recover from that odd wave that Grawn hand thrown at him. “Ohh sorry, did attack me? I couldn’t tell” Ryn said, even though he was mocking the Dark Jedi, still a slight hint of pain and shortness of still breath plagued his voice.
Yep, he had a cracked rib or two.

Smiling wickedly as he saw Ryn's face had blood on it, Grawn laughed at the Jedi's comment. "Your facade is commendable Jedi, but even i can sense cracked bones in your flesh. I can only imagine the pain you feel. But dont worry, it'll all be over soon enough.", he replied back harshly. He began to walk towards the Jedi, red blade humming as his boots crunched dead soil. Seeing the Force with his left and normal with his right eye took a little getting used to but seeing the currents of the Force flow to the Jedi as he initated an attempt at healing himself was worth the lack of comfort.
"We'll have none of that.", growled the Dark Jedi as he quickly pushed at Ryn with the Force. He wouldnt let the Jedi rest for a second, not a damned second. He would fall to his blade or Grawn would die trying and seeing his chance, he took it.
Grawns concealed lightsaber sprang to his empty hand and ignited, the blood red blade snap hissing to life. Quickly, he darted towards the Jedi, his speed augmented by the Force and swung both blades with all his dark might.

Even with quick reactions, near-sighted clairvoyance, and the Force, Ryn barely had time to mount a weakened and feeble defense. This was not the place to fight a Dark Jedi, not while Korriban ran through him, Ryn knew it too. It was now that he realized that the planet itself may have set & baited the trap that he oh so eagerly fell into. Then he saw it, a vertical slash that would no doubt cleave him in two, to Ryn's dismay, one end of his lightsaber was caught up defending against Grawn's other blade.
Ryn activated his second blade and narrowly blocked the would-be fatal blow, but it came at a price. A saber lock ensued, The two Force users, Ryn and Grawn, began a show of strength, and the winner would take the other's life. Under normal circumstances, Sundar would have won hands down. . . but these were not normal circumstances. Ryn was weakened by the blast that he endured not 5 minutes before, and Grawn was strengthened by the dead Planet's evil aura. Ryn could see his own lightsaber blade slowly fall back to his face and he could do absolutely nothing about it.
Sundar let a mighty yell slip out of his mouth and spent all of his remaining energy on one final push, but it was all in vain, the 4 clashing lines of plasma only got halfway before they fell back, only this time much faster than before. Ryn's own azure blade was forced a few microns from his eyes, the jet of blue plasma seared them beyond repair. The Jedi Knight was under immense pain, it felt as if the Dark Jedi dipped Ryn's face in molten carbonite. The shear agony he felt was incomparable, it felt as if no-one in the history of the galaxy has ever been in as much pain as he was in at that very moment.
Where the Dark Jedi was, Ryn did not care, but it seemed as if Grawn had left Ryn to his own devices, to his own personal torment. Sundar writhed in the sand like a serpent, clutching his face as if it would fall off. His eyes quickly cooled to the temperature of Korriban only to be replaced by the dullest of pains, which were the worst in Sundar's opinion.
Though the pain was still there, that was undeniable, it was most certainly more bearable. After all, it was not his eyes that felt the pain, but rather the eye socket, all of the nerves in both of his eyeballs were near-instantly seared shut. It was strange, his vision was not replaced, not exactly. It felt as if he knew where everything was, even though he had never seen it. But, after a few seconds of focus, his mind's eye could see his environment, it was most certainly different, but it was recognizable.
The planet looked even more evil and menacing than before, the planet seemed to be a darkened and blurred version of its former self. (imagine in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring when Frodo puts the ring on, that is what it looks like.) He then shifted his gaze to Master Took and the Dark Master he fought against. . . they also looked different; Vreem looked unusually bright and seemed to brighten the landscape around him, while the Dark Master was harder to find, he seemed to blend in with the darkness of the planet.
Ryn then shifted his gaze to the Dark Jedi who unknowingly gave him this great gift, he did look different, Ryn could see the anger that flowed through his veins, the shame of his loss to Ryn, and the biggest emotion in him: Pain. Pain from what, Ryn did not know. All that the Knight truly did know was that he had to get up and resume the battle, or die at the hands of this man.
Within a few moments Ryn got back up, while it was painful to even think of moving, but he would not die on the ground like a kath hound.
((Edit: After I got home I realized how retarded the ghosts that Ryn saw where, so I changed to post around a little and reworded somethings so that it was easier to read))

Moving down the hallway, Cassandra tried to pierce through the doorway using the Force, tried to see what secrets it contained. Yet, as hard as she strained, there was nothing there, as though a void were projected through the Force by the walls themselves. Drawing in a Hissing breath, She turned and reached down to her belt, triggering the small homing beacon that she had placed there on Xavier's command.
Muttering to herself, she started the other way down the hall, Unsure of the contents of the room, but sure that they were something that her Brother would find Interesting, or at the least Amusing. Silently, though, she cursed herself for getting lost in the depths of the ancient temple, and as she moved quickly, supporting herself with her Staff, she used the feelings of her comrades to Feel her way towards the Exit

Grawn watched with cruel delight as Ryn's own lightsaber blinded him. He watched with glee as he writhed about in pain and misery. But the most important of all, Pain. This fool and his Order had caused the Dark Jedi much pain, yet they could have stopped it all. Where were they when he was tortured into submission over the course of weeks as a young child? Where were the great protecters when he was beaten to near death for every failure under his uncle! He wouldnt lie, he had stuck to the Light just as his father had taught him.
"The Light will always be with you my son, it will be your guide and your salvation.". he had said mere weeks before Grawns abduction.
The Light lasted him about a week. Within a week, all Erfies had taught Grawn had been shattered like glass and replaced with nothing but pain, agony and misery. From the corpse of Erfies ideas, he slowly began to build his darkness. A darkness that had made a innocent child into a remorseless killer.
The Jedi Order were ignorant fools who claim much but carry out little of what they say. They prefer meditation over action and THAT is why they must pay. How many lives could be saved? How much pain could be avoided if they actually did what they said they would and could. There would be no mercy for them, Grawn would make sure of it. the Jedi would feel every little ounce and drop of pain that coursed through his own form on a daily basis and he would see to it that they would see the folly of there arrogance. As far as he was concerned, THEY were responsible for his pain. They took away his father, the only thing he had in the galaxy once his mother was taken from him! The Jedi were a plague that had to be ELIMINATED!
By the time Grawn had noticed Ryn began to stand, he was once again furious. But something had changed. The Jedi stood as if he had vision, oh he stood with obvious pain in his body but not to the degree to suggest that he had just lost sight. Using his left eye, Grawn delved into the Force and saw that something had indeed changed. Ryn no longer saw as everything else, he saw as Grawn did with his mask.
"A interesting developement", Grawn mused and twirled his blades in his hands, gripping them tightly at the end of the spin. The battle it would seem was far from over. Crossing his blades in an X before him, he grinned behind his slightly damaged mask, his yellow eye filled with maddened glee.
He wouldnt have it any other way. "I had hoped you'd stand again. I havent had enough fun with you yet!", he boasted wickedly at the "blind" Jedi.

Vreem had tested the water to make sure it was warm enough to burn, and it was. He had seemingly gained the attention of the other two Dark Jedi, which meant that Jace now a little longer to get his job done. Yet he could not lend his thoughts to Jace for much longer, his current situation demanded his full attention, otherwise it would cost him his life. All three had managed to avoid his attack but it was expected from opponents such as those before him.
Out of the three of them, only the apparent leader seemed to be the only one talking to him. And Vreem was happy to spend his time talking instead of fighting; it would give him more and more time to recover from the cave. “The Jedi Code is not flawed; it is you who is flawed, that is why the Jedi Code does not seem to work for you. The code can be followed and upheld and peace and prosperity can be maintained, but the weak and power-hungry animals such as yourself are not able to remain strong, you give in to the darkness, you fall towards it, revel in it like it’s some great fountain of power when in all honesty, it does nothing but corrupt. Look at your skin, how the Dark Side has desecrated it. Yet the flesh is only the surface of the corruption, the core is more despicable than I care to describe.” Vreem spoke from experience, he knew the darkness, he had tasted it, yet he had crawled his way back to the light willingly, seeming to leave the darkness behind, to shed it from his body and emerge a bright beacon of light to brighten the lives of the gloomy and downhearted who surrounded him. He was a Jedi.
“My jurisdiction? I am a Jedi, a servant of the Light, protector of the galaxy. Look at where your feet rest and think about how foolish that was of you to say. You will forever be in my jurisdiction, Dark Jedi.” Vreem had become a lot sterner, his tolerance for Dark Jedi was very limited and already it was drawing to an end. Yet he would not unnecessarily draw his saber, it was not his way, it was not the way of the Jedi. He was a Council Member, deemed one of the twelve strongest out of the thousands of Jedi who comprised the Order, he had to set an example to everyone, friend and foe alike. This was how a Jedi worked; they were true followers of the Light, to fall from that would be to tarnish the entire Order.
“What is it you seek from this, Xavier,” he started, using his opponent’s name for the first time, “to test yourself? To try prove to your own mind that everything you have done has been worth it, that your fall to the Dark Side was worth it for the power you may have gained. To have to prove something like that to yourself is pathetic, the need to test yourself for personal appeasement, or even to boast your strength to others makes you so much more like an animal than a sentient being. Can you not see it? What you’ve become? How you have failed not only as a Jedi but as a person as well? No, I doubt you can, if you could see it as I can, you would have turned from the Dark Side long ago. Open your eyes, Xavier, see the truth!” He finished declaratively, hoping to reach the human inside of him, to reveal to him now the Darkness of his way, how he had become less of a man than he had ever been, ever could be. For Vreem had seen it in himself long ago, and it had pulled him away from the Dark Side, away from Grahn, away from this planet.
Most likely this would only trigger a violent response from Xavier, most were too far gone to be able to take a good clear look at themselves anymore.

Xavier stood back up straight and placed his arms behind his back, cupping his hands to gether ina regal manner whilst the jedi lectured him. "I have clarity that only to achieve full enlightment is to learn all the aspects the force has to offer....jedi.... the light side is only but one aspect of the force...and being biased will only mean your failure." He started to pace from left to right, he always did like a good chin wag as it were. "Dark jedi, you say? so ready to stereotype, are you? arrogant the jedi have become indeed.. no wonder so many fall from the oh so rightious path of selflessness and sacrifice." If xavier could laugh, he would of done by now.
"Yes.. i do indeed prefer the darker side of the force... i never rushed into my teachings..infact i took the aspects of the jedi when it came to teachings in the dark arts...thats why i have survived..thats why i am a lord and master... no force ability is herently good nor evil as you are so willing and eager to pigeon hole...no..its how you use the abilities bestowed upon you that make them good or evil.... THAT is were the jedi fail.. THAT is why i left the path of the "light"... i will not deny the suffering i have given.. but i will also not deny the peace i have given others... " It had been awhile since Xavier had lectured on any such subject.
"You are indeed powerful.. a council member no doubt.. Kudos to you... I have no hatred for the jedi, but stand in my way in the future and i will have no qualms about destroying you or any other jedi... for i have killed many jedi, dark jedi and jay shel... you have no jurisdiction over me... for i am a my own Lord, i carve my own destiny... and such jedi politics are beneath me....." Xavier had noted that it was a probable distraction but he also knew this wouldn't be the last meeting between the two.

Daren could feel his master's power and the other jedi's it was truely something to focus upon but he tried to keep his mind open to the whole valley. He had maintained this wide range of focus until the Jedi and Xavier began to speak. Daren then opened his eyes and listened. He become enraged by the Jedi's words. Some which tried to ring true in his own ears. After the Jedi silenced his poision his master reassured him. He was speaking to the Jedi directly but Daren could hear them and he felt some of it was directed towards him. He understood why they were talking. Xavier was always clear headed his rage wouldn't get the best of him. He had the control over the Dark side that most couldn't handle. This made Xavier the master of the dark side, not the dark side the master of Xavier. Daren only wondered if the Jedi could control himself as well as his master. He doubted it even for a Jedi Council member on this planet his rage would build and the fight would begin. Daren could only hope for this. Daren looks to the cave quickly nothing over there. Then to Grawn and his Jedi foe. The Jedi was fighting still but Daren had earlier felt him in intenese pain earlier. He had been sure he was dead...a powerful Jedi. Daren became worried that the Jedi might over power him. Hopefully they will finish off these Jedi before more emerge. Daren would be ready hopefull the other Dark Jedi were.

Ryn looked down, the Force could do amazing things; It could allow the blind to see, the weak to be strong, and most importantly. . . the old and wounded to move like the most athletic of young men. Ryn trusted in the Force to carry him through the fight, while he did feel pain, the Force took that factor out of the equation.
By the time that the last words left Grawn's lips Ryn was already upon the man, swinging the ignited end of his lightsaber violently. Ryn could tell that the Dark Jedi just learned how to dual weild, while Korriban put ferocity and tenacity in him, it most certainly did not give him the skill he needed to overtake someone who knew what they were doing with one lightsaber. . . . even if Grawn had two.
Ryn's ferocious attacks forced Grawn backwards, within a few short minutes the loathesome man would be forced off of the cliff like an animal being hunted by primative man. Ryn smirked, the Dark Jedi probably did not know that he was but a few steps away from a half-a-mile long plunge. Somehow, the Dark Jedi found the room to counter-attack, Ryn saw another vertical swipe. . . . Grawn was trying to do the same maneuver that "blinded" him. Ryn brought his azure blade up to meet Grawn's lightsaber, but he did not block it.
Instead of putting strength into the block, he dodged to the left and let Grawn's strenght push the lightsaber down while simultaneously activating the other end. To seal the Dark Jedi's fate Ryn opened up his hand to allow the staff to spin around. The blue line of plasma easily seared through Grawn's arm just as easy as it seered its weilder's eyes white. Then Ryn used the Force to throw Grawn off of the cliff, again he lost Grawn's presence in the Force after he was thrown off the cliff. To Ryn it looked as if the man just disappeared into thin air. . . something told him that he did not see the last of this Grawn.
Ryn turned around to see 2 of the Dark Jedi just mostly just talking while observing the conflict between Master Took and what apparently was the Master of the other Dark Jedi. Ryn sighed, he was far too wounded to take on antoher Dark Jedi, let alone two at once. Ryn slowly gimped over to entrance of the tomb, he probably fractured a leg as well. . . . it sure felt like it, he was sure to give the 2 Dark Jedi a very wide berth.
As reached the entrance of the tomb he leaned up against the wall next to the door and sank down. A gory but thin streak of blood followed Ryn down as he sank into a sitting position. He needed time to let the Force heal his wounds, but there were some wounds the Force would never heal: his eyes.
Ryn let out a long sigh as the Force began to heal him. He shifted his gaze to observe the conflict between Vreem and the DJ, it did not look as if they began to fight with anything but words as of yet. Ryn nodded in agreement, after all why would one kill an enemy when he can make a friend?
((Don't take what I said about Grawn's skill in Jar'Kai as godmodding, he is as-a-matter-of-fact unskilled at the sub-form because he just learned how to dual wield earlier in this thread.))

Pain...
Pain like he had never imagined. It had happened so fast and so quickly, the ferocity of it.. Now he was falling. Falling down from his feeling of power and godhood....he had lost it all. He remembered the fight, the Jedi's loss of vision. He remembered he had been so confident, so sure of his victory. Now it was all gone and it was replaced by nothing but PAIN.
Grawn was falling, his body coursing from pain and his mind numb with the feeling of dread that he realized he was about to die. He turned his head, the wind blowing into his eye but otherwise being blocked by his somehow still on mask. The ground was coming closer, it seemed to rush at him but he realized his death wouldnt be quick. His death would be prolonged and unforgiving as he realized he was about to hit against a cliff edge.
Crack.
The sound resonated across the canyon as his body struck the stone unforgiveningly, he felt his ribs crack and shatter in his body and blood spurt from his mouth. But the ride wasnt over, as he bounced off of the stone and fell another couple hundred feet.
Snap.
Pain shot through him as his leg broke upon impact as his body had spun around enough for his leg to be beneath him. It continued on for what seemed like eternity, his body striking several surfaces, bone and flesh torn asunder but finally he fell with a sickening thud upon a jutting cliff side. His cloak, long torn and ripped off during the fall, lay covering his torn body. It covered only some of the horrific damage that had been caused to his being. The mask that he had thought a boon to him had fallen off just as he had hit the cliff, sliding off to expose his face.
The face of a man, beaten and defeated. Through squinting, pain ridden eyes he stared up to the sky, breathing raggedly. It pained him to breath, it pained to think and it pained to exist. Grawn attempted to move, to get himself up but he couldnt do it. His right arm was gone, cut off by the Jedi's blade and he hadnt the strength to move with only his left arm. He coughed blood upon the stone, staining it with crimson that was even now leaking from his mouth and several parts of his body.
"Damn..him.", Grawn weezed painfully as he rolled over to once again to himself looking to the dark sky. In his head, he heard laughter, echoes of his uncle. He had watched the entire thing and now his laughter would be the thing that would carry him to the other side. Once his death, he knew he'd be doomed like his uncle, a ghost unable to have rest. To wander aimlessly across the planet for the end of existence.
"No..", he groaned weakly and tried to summon the Force. It came but he was no Jedi, he couldnt heal his own wounds, only numb the immense pain he felt now. Like a lightsaber etching lines across his entire body.
As he stared into the endless sky, he growled. Blackness was coming to his vision and he knew he might never wake up. With one last grunt, what little left he had of power, he wrapped the Force around him. It would stop him from dying for a few day, but nothing more. He did this out of desperation, a futile hope that he might survive this ordeal. It was a slim chance but he refused to die, he would fight against death as much as possible before it could claim him. He sighed one last time as the black took him, his eyes closing against his wishes. As the went shut, a sudden surge in the Force came to him, in his mind. The image of a fiery bird came to him but before he could try and decipher its meaning, he was unconscious.
Perhaps to never awake again.
((OOC: While it happened quicker then i had wanted, making him look like a weakling, this was my plan for Grawn regardless. This post ends my involvement in his thread. Thanks for the fun!))

Jace was quickly making his way through the winding tomb, well at least as quickly as caution would allow him. Jace knew had sensed another presence enter the Tomb, though it was faint he was sure he felt it. He had to be cautious lest he run straight into a lightsaber and not live long enough to realized his mistake. Jace knew that Vreem and Ryn were fighting out there, he knew Vreem could hold his own, but still the Jedi were outnumbered. Also as time goes on, who knows what else will arrive on the forsaken planet. Jace hurried through the corridors, vaguely remembering the places he was passing, he was letting the force guide him.
Jace had finally made it to the entrance of the tomb, but instead of rushing out this time. He stayed just in mouth of the tomb and looked around to grasp the situation more clearly. He did not like what he was seeing, but he should have expected it. How much longer could they remain here and battle their counterparts? They needed to find a way off Korriban, one Jedi had already died, Jace would not let another.
Jace remained semi-hidden at the mouth of the entrance, just waiting for the right time to make his move.

Daren obserbed the ending of Grawn's battle with much intrest. The blind Jedi defeated Grawn like he was a child. It seemed the Jedi had become more powerful by becoming blinded. That was absurd but the truth couldn't be denied. One thing that Daren knew was the Jedi was wounded and weak. This would be the ideal time to weaken their numbers again. Daren looked at the distance between the cave and the Jedi. They were close but he could easily make it to him before then. The only problem would start if another Jedi decided to attack him. He could kill the blind Jedi but what if another Jedi came before him? He could not engage two at the same time. He also couldn't trust Tesa to come and assist him. He would have to depend only upon his own abilities. The gamble was to risky, he would let the Jedi go. If Tesa started anything however he would assist her. As it is a good time to kill more Jedi, it is a very bad time to loose any of their own. Speaking of which, where had his master's sister gone? She wasn't in the Valley Daren had sensed that much. She was somewhere under it in the tombs. Interesting...

“What is to be corrupt?” Tesa murmured to herself, pale brown eyes flashing with her words. She was annoyed at how this Jedi accused Xavier of being corrupt. Jedi themselves can be corrupt, corrupt by the light side. Light or dark side, what did it mean? Dark acts? What were dark acts? And dark acts corrupted you?
Flesh is only the surface of corruption…
This was true, Tesa noted. And the dark side took a considerable toll on flesh, but far enough into the light, flesh could be manipulated then as well. The light side could cause a glow of the body, and one using the absolute light could soon become a glowing beacon. Light still, however, cracked and split the flesh, melted the bones as much as any lightning could do. Corrupted. The person became corrupted and lost to the light. As much as any loyal follower of the dark path could become.
“Corruption happens down either path,” she murmured, more to herself, in realization. And each has its toll. The mind is so focused on the certain path, it’s corrupted. Vreem doesn’t understand that he himself is corrupted of the light side, too far consumed by his light side to be dragged from it even if he wanted so. It’s the dark of the light. A thin smile pasted her lips. Her fingers rummaged through her hair as she thought, shaking loose as much clinging sand as she could. Teas found this funny how Vreem was accusing Xavier for something he was equally guilty at. Corruption. Neither side had room to talk about it.
She wanted to hurl the accusations against Vreem, make him think about his words as she stuffed them back where they belonged. Her eyebrow lifted in Xavier’s direction, touching his mind and showing him her argument. Maybe he might find it useful to debate about.
As for jurisdiction… Korriban was technically space designed for the Sith. Or, in this case, the Dark Jedi. Vreem howled about where Xavier’s feet touched the ground. Korriban. He touched Korriban, as much as Vreem did. Home of the Sith cult and practitioners of the dark ways. Her thin smile grew just a little bit larger, and then it dampened.
Poor Daren, she thought absently, Looking over and see me glaring between the Jedi and Master while grinning like some kind of maniacal fool. Tesa did seem to be in her own little world as her eyes flicked between the two Masters, each to their own path of corruption. And smiling could be counted as the last piece of evidence to turn and stamp across their forehead “INSANITY LIVES HERE”. She dismissed the thought. If Daren was going to be part of the group, he better learn to deal with her quirks, or he’s simply going to creep out every time Tesa whispered “boo”.
Back to jurisdiction. Who was in control here? Who was under who’s jurisdiction? Who CARED? The last question crossed her mind and Tesa threw it away. Who cared? Who cared under these conditions? Even if the Dark Jedi were under the Jedi’s jurisdiction, there would always be a rebellion and they would always slip between a Jedi’s fingers.
Foolishness. Stop trying to shove ideals onto one another. Someone will always disagree unless he wants to agree.
Tesa randomly sighed and snapped out of her thinking trance. She blinked for the first time in the last few minutes and took a look around her other surroundings. The fight between the other Dark Jedi and the…Jedi had gone well, she noted with a hint of sarcasm. Have fun falling, it’s always a thrill. There were waves of pain branching out from the blinded Jedi, almost as tasty as a dish of Corellian prepared meatloaf.
Mental note: Eat as soon as possible. Tesa’s eyes shifted the right corner as she thought this.
She noticed Daren’s scrutiny of the wounded Jedi as well. He could be read like an ancient scroll. Again, Tesa sighed, but it sounded more like “oh geez, how bothersome” this time.
“If you go after him, you’re going to need someone to help take care of that second one hiding along the entrance.” She could just barely make out the figure with her eyes. The sun beat down overhead to cast some bizarre trickery on the eyesight. Between the waving, heated air and the shadows, it was almost impossible to see unless you were trained to see the impossible. Once again, Tesa thanked her mentor who taught her to rely on shadows and to be observant to a high degree. Also saved her backside countless times when he attempted sneak attacks on her.
But no, the Jedi had stuck his nose into the open to observe quickly, and then retreat, before peeking out a few moments later. Amateur.
She ruffled her cloak as she sent a shudder down her body, trying to rid of that aggravating sand that was still trapped between her back and her clothing and absently brushed at an arm.

Vreem remained where he was, watching as Xavier began to pace about. The body’s movements could reveal a lot; at times betraying a person, pacing such of this showed he was deep in thought, that was obvious considering their topic of discussion. But at the same time it came across that perhaps this was something he’d said to convince himself, after all, Vreem spoke from his heart, not caring to butter up his words. He was a statue, once which stood testament to good and light which existed, even on this rock. He began his response after the Dark Jedi had vanished speaking. “Enlightenment you say? So you wish to take into consideration all aspects of the Force? Yet you then say that you prefer the Dark Side of the Force, can you not hear the contradiction within your own words? I understand that the Force may not inherently be good or evil, and that it is we who have to make the choice. But until you achieve enlightenment would it not be wisest to remain neutral, isn’t that they best way to take in all aspects of the Force and then once you do achieve that, then make your choice? Perhaps it’s just me but isn’t acting on one aspect of the Force going against your aim of taking both? That isn’t the path to enlightenment, that is simply the path to inner turmoil. Take my word for it.”
He wouldn’t care to mention it, but the Dark Jedi should have been able to surmise by now that he had not been limited to only one side of the Force, so why did he make statements as such? Surely a Jedi with the ability to fire lightning from their hands was a rare sight, but if his opponent wanted to disregard it, then Vreem wouldn’t correct him. After all, that was only the first of what he had learned on this planet. In the Order he was one of the most knowledgeable when it came to techniques of the Dark Side, this knowledge never really served him well until it came to confrontations such as this. But he still didn’t take pleasure from using the skills. No doubt that was why he was not as strong in them like he had been back when he was considered a Dark Jedi. It wasn’t that he couldn’t call forth the same strength. It was simply because he did not want to cross a boundary once again; it would be extremely easy to fall to the Dark Side again if he let his powers run free. He didn’t want that.
“Please,” he scoffed when Xavier came to the end of what he wanted to say, “you call the Jedi arrogant and then boast your strength and profess the teachings and politics of our Order to be beneath you, perhaps you should try and see the contradictions in what you say, because they appear to be many. We are not standing in your way; you came to us, not the other way around.” He paused for a moment as the realisation swept over him, there was no chance that Xavier could be pulled back from the light, not within this single confrontation anyway, he was wrapped too tightly in the darkness, had it already consumed him so badly? Yet Vreem had been the same, he could not turn away that small trickle of hope that remained. But for now, there would not be the possibility of redemption for Xavier, the only way to ensure his transition back to the light would be to take him to the temple, eventually he would see the truth, see the light truth through the blanket of lies and darkness wrapped around his eyes ever so tightly.
“Now I see,” Vreem sighed regrettably, “I see how little hope there is for you Xavier, you’re bound too tightly to the Dark Side, wrapped too sternly in your narcissism and fractured benevolence. So you have killed many? Is that how you judge your strength, with death? Few things can be gained through death, strength most certain is not one of them.” It seemed as though their conversation was coming to an end, both were unwilling to give any ground in this discussion. But it had served a purpose for Vreem, no longer did he feel weighed down by the events of the cave, should a fight ignite between them now, he would be much more prepared for it than he had been earlier. And every exchange would count for more time towards his recuperation.

Xavier continuing to pace laughed deeply through the force, sending out a bellowing ruckus of a laugh trembling through the valley. "your thoughts betray you..." Xavier cameto a stand still before rubbing the tips of his fingers together.
Sparks of lightning jumped from one finger to another, as he drew from the sea of dark side energy the valley pulsed out, the surrounding area somewhat lowering in temperature. Xavierproceeded by lunging both hands towards Vreem, two large bright beams of lightning struck out from his hands and headed to Vreem at a blistering speed, forks of lightning jumping from one beam to the other with a cackling sound as it hurtled towards the jedi.

After a few simple words in response to what he had said Vreem was not surprised that Xavier no longer seemed to want to just talk. It was how the typical Dark Jedi worked, emotion would drive their minds and suddenly they would shift from talking to the simpleminded action that was violence, he knew it all too well. It seemed as though his opponent was like so many before him, he couldn’t resist the urge to battle, the bloodlust during which he would be able to test his powers. Vreem pitied such men.
He could sense as the dark energies surrounding them seemed to be drawn towards Xavier, like a black hole consuming everything it drew into itself. He was a shell, a container for the Dark Side and nothing more, every time he called upon such quantities of dark energy it would rot him from within, crumble the integrity of his soul and devour his heart, leaving him with nothing but his animal instincts to drive his body and quench his thirst for power. It was a saddening scene for the Jedi Master, and yet there was nothing he could do to help, he felt powerless.
Preparing himself, Vreem fortified his resolve and determination swept through his body, reaffirming his grip upon the Force and the warmth of the light in which he wrapped himself. He could sense the prickle of electricity, an ability he knew a lot about. There were three skills Vreem possessed which were directly linked to the power of lightning. The first was the ability itself, which Grahn had taught him. The next was a power only a handful knew about, an ability most didn’t know existed, Electric Judgement, a light side variant of Force Lightning. This was not an ability Vreem used often; he preferred to stay away from his knowledge in the area as lightning as much as possible. But the third technique was one he’d learned for this specific reason, although not solely used for a counter to lightning. That had been his reasoning behind learning it, for his confrontation with Grahn. It was a useful ability.
To counter Xavier’s raised hands and the lightning which arched forth at tremendous speeds; Vreem raised his own, almost as if he intended to catch the lightning like a ball. In fact, that’s exactly what he did. The bright blue streaks hit the palms of his hands viciously, yet Vreem was able to force the lightning to wrap itself up into two small balls. As the rest of the lightning continue to hit his hands, Vreem added this to the forming balls of vibrant energy until finally the burst of electricity stopped. With great tension, Vreem was able to draw his hands back, the strength of the lightning threatened to burst out of its spherical form at any moment, but eventually he was able to control it and moments later, absorb it. He took in the burst of electricity and it managed to fuel both his body and his mind, all of the time spent talking couldn’t compare to the amount of help absorbing the lightning had been. Force absorb proved itself handy against lightning and not many were able to master it, meaning that a fair number of inexperienced Dark Jedi were always shocked when he countered their attack. Of course, this time he wasn’t dealing with an inexperienced Dark Jedi, so the usual grand opening would not be there, maybe a slight one, but taking into consideration the distance between them and his opponent’s skill in the Force Vreem doubted he would be able to move fast enough to exploit any opening.
Instead he spoke once again. “So I see you are too far gone to listen to words, responding to what I said with such an ambiguous statement, I wonder if you were even listening, Xavier? Perhaps if you won’t listen to my words you will listen to my blade.” Vreem’s hand move begrudgingly towards his waist and wrapped around the smooth metal hilt of his lightsaber, which almost seemed to mutter reassuringly to his hand. He unhooked it and held it for a moment, looking at it, it had been his comrade for so many years now, always at his side to see him through both the good and the bad, this would be another memory they would share. He ignited his friend and from it burst the bright emerald beam which hummed in harmony with the beating of his heart. He faced Xavier, they both did. Flicking his wrist up towards himself and back systematically, he saluted to his opponent as was customary for practitioners of Makashi and then entered his stance. However, Vreem held back, not wanting to attack, that was not the Jedi way after all.

Xavier tilted his head slightly as Vreem absorbed the lightning, he waved his hand slightly as if to wave the jedi's attempt knowledge of the force "as i expected" he simply stated before smiling slightly. Xavier witnessed Vreem's equiping of his lightsaber, he raised his lightsaber "how unorthadox for a jedi to ignite his lightsaber before the opponent...amusing" he said with almost a hint of humour and sarcasm. He noted the Makashi stance before answering with his own lightsaber and stance.
Xavier used the force to bring his lightsaber to his hand, the hilt itself was of a gothic design, he had forged it himself whilst in seclusion in the baron wastelands of Korriban years before. He ignited it, a dark blue hue rose from the hilt and gave out a low level hum he went into a Soresu stance for a couple of seconds before taking thesecond lightsaber he owned that he made for his old apprentice , Bree'ah. He ignited it, this time a purple hue shot from the hilt. Xavier managed to pull of quite an impressive number of twirls with the dual lightsabers before falling into an advance Jar'kai stance.
Not one for wasting time, Xavier called upon the force to excell his speed as well as jump, he shot through the air at quite a pace towards Vreem before landing 5 feet infront of the jedi. He instantly engaged the jedi with a various displays of quick horizontal slashes towards Vreem's chest.

Ryn heard door that lead into the tomb lurch open and soon felt a familiar presence to his side. He turned his head to look at this presence, it was Master Beleran "Forgive me, Master Beleren." Ryn said while he attempted to get up on his feet, he was about half-way before he was almost forced down by the pain in his chest from the broken rib. It was healing, that was certain, but it just was not healing as fast as Ryn would like it to.
"There is one less Dark Jedi in the Galaxy" Ryn said, but then he pointed at his eyes, both of them where seared white "But it came at a price" Ryn said solumnly. He was about to say something about how rash he acted or how he failed to save Lon when one of his bones poped snapped back into place and made a sickining 'pop' that completely threw off his train of thought.

Jace quickly went to support Ryn just as his bone seemed to pop back in place. He gently layed Ryn down, and closed his eyes and focused on Ryn's body, trying to locate all his injuries other than the obvious.
"You shouldn't move Ryn, there is a chance that your broken rib could puncture your long, and I think you have enough to deal with at the moment"
Jace said this with a smile but inside he was quite worried about Ryn. Lon had died, Ryn had gotten pretty damn close to it, and now he had lost his vision and was wounded pretty seriously.
"Just lay still Ryn, lets see if I can at least ease your pain a bit, we will have to get off this planet soon. So just rest and focus on trying to heal yourself. There is no telling when any of those other dark jedi might try to attack us"
Jace focused on healing and applying some Jedi pain exclusion techniques on Ryn. It wasn't easy since he needed focus and and with a bunch of Dark Jedi ready to attack at any moment, focus was becoming somewhat difficult.
