Coughing as she Walked through the Temple's Basement levels, taking turns and Corners as the Force Guided her, Cassandra Stumbled upon the Crypt door, Guarded by the two Jedi. Stopping just before she stepped into the light, she stepped back a Few paces, her arm shaking as she pulled it from her mouth, a drop of Crimson blood dripping from her palm as her hollow eyesockets, protected by the silken band, gazed directly at the two Jedi.
Oh...Bollocks she swore, her hand groping the Staff in her hand while her free hand returned to her mouth as she was launched into another Violent Spree of coughing, racking her lungs as she turned, wanting to avoid the two. Injured as one of them may be, you never really know what might happen.

Sundar looked up at the Jedi Master "Thank You, Master Beleran. The Force is slowly mending me, it will still take some time, though" Ryn said. He could feel the few shards of his broken rib slowly drift back to their rightful place, he could feel the recently opened veins sew themselves back together, it was definatly an unsettling feeling.
He then began to watch the fight between Master Took and Xavier to get his mind off of his discomfort and the pain. Ryn looked at the two closely, Master Took looked exactly like Ryn remembered him, yet very different. He then looked over at Xavier, the Dark Jedi Master, the man looked like some kind of creature that just stirred from his grave, his skin was rotting off of the bone, the man's armor was rusted over, and his clothes were dirty and old. The dark side corrupted this man through and through, this is truly what he saw, the level of the Dark Jedi Master's corruption.
Ryn was about to say something about the man when he felt a. . . strange. . . presence, he then turned his head back into the tomb entrance. The second he turned his head he heard a long series of rather violent coughs, this was yet another thing to grab everyone's attention. A normal person could probably not see the first few feet due to the rather dramatic change in brightness, but Ryn saw with the Force, rather then with the light. The knight saw a strange form, while small and young the female figure pulsed with the Dark Side.
"Who goes there?!" Ryn said, attempting to put up the facade of blindness.

No one in particular, Really Cassandra said, backing away still, her Staff tapping the ground gently as she tried to consolidate her grip on the Force itself, focusing it into her form as she attempted to see her way out of this situation. Unfortunately, it was at that moment that her body decided to bend over, wracked with a throaty cough that rendered the Dark Seer Helpless against attack as she struggled to breathe.
After a long moment of the wracking barks that her lungs produced, trying to clear airways, Cassandra stood, a Thin trail of blood leaking from the side of her lips, down her chin, where it dripped to the ground and onto her white gown. Ouch she said, her brow furrowing as she Turned slightly, away from the jedi, her mind reaching out to Xavier even as she Fell. Something is Wrong...Can't breathe was all that she could send before falling into the shadow that the walls provided, onto the floor, her form curled around itself. In her own thoughts, one seemed to haunt her.
Why didn't I see this coming?

Jace's hand flashed to his lightsaber but he stopped from drawing it. The woman who was behind them had begun coughing violently. His hand remained near his lightsaber because he could sense she was strong with the dark side of the force. He watched as she slowly collapsed to the floor and then turned to Ryn.
"Ryn do you think you can move yet? We need to get off this planet, and we need to do it very soon. I don't know what it is but I have a great sense of something ominous approaching and we do not want to be here when it does."
He watched as Vreem fought this dark Jedi known as Xavier. This was no mere pawn though, he had a great connection with the force. He needed to figure out how to get Vreem away from the fight and then get to the Ship.

Vreem watched as Xavier ignited his two lightsabers and hurtled himself towards the waiting Jedi. Careful of his surroundings the Jedi Master made sure to constantly assess his situation, for it was a dangerous one. Who knew if or when either of the other Dark Jedi would step in.
All too quickly the lightsabers fell down upon him like a storm and Vreem was forced to respond with the utmost precision. Strike after strike rained down upon him. But he remained firm, naturally slipping into the style of Makashi, his single blade moved swiftly in order to counter the attacks of the two. Vreem found himself conceding ground as he would step back in between a few blocks. But even then he still managed to maintain his composure. Standing upon the balls of his feet he was able to react quickly, gliding his feet backwards, and keeping them simple millimetres off the ground. But soon the ferocity of the attacks wavered and Vreem exploited this opening, launching onto the offensive. His blows, however, were not the usual deadly and precise attacks one would associate with Makashi, no these blows were slower and arching. In a similar fashion to Xavier, Vreem did not attack at full strength, for such powerful opponents it was always wise to test their enemy a bit first, gauge some sense of skill, check their sense, awareness and responses. That way, taking a more cautious approach, they wouldn’t fall into an obvious trap set by their opponent.
It went on like this for a few bouts. During which Vreem had begun to notice a real flaw with Xavier’s fighting style, something which hindered him, his armour. He had noticed the slower movements in comparison to his own, this had been the reason he had shed his in the cave, even a piece of light armour would make movements slower than those in robes, there was no real way around it. But the few extra moments created by the hindrance of this armour presented Vreem with an opportunity to communicate with Jace a little bit through the force. ”Jace, we don’t have any time to debate about this just trust me, grab Jeh’rad and once Ryn is fit enough, make a break for the ship, I will try to distract them and join you. We don’t have much time. Quickly whilst they’re focused here.”. Vreem was cautious due to Xavier’s apparent skill with telepathy. Then again, he had been ever since he had spoken to him through the Force. He had put up his own mental barriers with the Force, ones which would not allow the Dark Jedi to exploit his mind, gain any truths or knowledge that Vreem did not want him to. Of course, Xavier could try and break them, but in the middle of a duel that would be suicide. The message would be safe.
Returning his attention back to the duel the two combatants broke away for a moment and paused, neither one attacking. “Ready to get serious now?” He asked plainly. This time it was he who launched into the offensive, first of all with some sharp stabs towards Xavier’s chest, leg and arm, each time Vreem would slide forward, ready to shift the blade into a block should the need to defend arise.

Xavier maintained his offensive, taking ground with every stroke whilts the jedi defended himself, both masters were holding back and it was quite obvious too. They were testing each other. They say you do not truely know somebody until you fight them and Xavier was like the perverbial cat licking up the milk as he tested the jedi, he would assume the jedi was doing the same too, Xavier also knew that Makashi practisioners struggle against physically strong opponents as their poetic fighting stance cannot comprehend strong powerful blows usually associated with djem so. Of course Xavier would have to adapt this therum in using Jar'kai instead.
One voice almost screamed for help, it was Cassandra, she was in pain, she was suffering. but not at the hand of a jedi, rather her weak body had sustained a rather discomforting illness, but she would have to wait for if he were to retreat, the jedi would have the upper hand and possibly use the leverage to win the duel, so he put Cassandra's anguish to the back of his mind and locked it away in a steel vault. Xavierhad also sensed Vreem talking to another jedi in the force, he could feel the vibrations, the trickles of force energy eminating from the jedi, but he had his mental blocks up so he could not comprehend what the jedi said in this situation.
The jedi declared they fight properly now, Xavier nodded slightly during the pause and brought both sabers down infront of him to make a "X" sign, the sign of an advanced Jar'kai user. This time Vreem went on the offensive, his first strike to Xavier's chest who simply raises the crossed lightsabers to catch vreems. The jedi retracted his lightsaber followed by a strike towards Xavier's legs, Xavier spun to his left and brought down is right lightsaber to deflect the attack. Again vreem retracted followed by a strike towards Xavier's arm who inturn leant back,if he were not wearing his armour, the strike would of missed, but instead the lightsaber dug into the shoulder of the armour just missing his actual limb. Xavier raised his left lightsaber to beat back Vreem's lightsaber. instinctively Xavier jumped backwards using the force to propell him.
Xavier's armour, a tool to instill fear in his opponents 90 per cent of the time would work, but he knew such things would not work a gainst a high end jedi master, he deactivated his off hand lightsaber and placed it on his belt, he raised his other saber and kept it pointed at Vreem, just incase he tried anything. Xavier used his left hand to undo the armour on his torso as it was mostly mangled and useless now, he shed the armour. As the armour fell Xavier's torso was now in sight. He was a muscular man, his skin tight with many a scar from battles long gone, Vreem would now combat Xavier that could be equally as fast or possibly faster than vreem himself. Xavier took hold of his off hand saber again and ignited it before running towards Vreem. He brought down his lightsaber until it dragged along the sand, turning the sand instantly into glass from the immense heat of the blade to the sand, shortley before arrived to vreem he brought up the lightsaber violently, some of the newly formed glass shards being launched towards Vreem. Xavier would use this "diversion" to launch himself at vreem bringing both of his lightsabers diagonally downwards from xavier's left to right.

Post by Vreem Took on Dec 15, 2008 18:24:49 GMT -5
With an analytical approach to the battle, Vreem had quickly assessed just how much of a hindrance Xavier’s armour was to his movements when he was able to hit his armour within three simple stabbing moves. After this quick attack, the Jedi Master broke off, expecting some form of counter, yet the Dark Jedi didn’t attack; instead he tried to remove his armour. In this situation, many would have seen it as an opportunity to take down their opponent whilst their attention was not fully caught on the fight. However, Vreem was a strict student of Makashi, a style in which honour still remained between two combatants. He simply held up his guard, allowing Xavier to remove his armour unchallenged.
Although Xavier’s body was covered in scars from battle, some from lightsabers and some from your every day vibroblades, Vreem wasn’t surprised by this. Most warriors had a number of battle scars which, within the deep crevices of the scars, held stories and memories which the body would not let the mind forget. Vreem even had a few although they did not number as greatly as Xavier’s; his most apparent one was the scar which lay across his left cheek. Yes, that had been a battle in which he had been near death many times. But now was not the right moment to reminisce as his opponent had removed his armour now and cast it to the ground, leaving it to rust in a pile of worthless junk which it had now become.
Through the few moments of consideration, Vreem’s grip on his saber had relaxed slight, he tightened his hold upon it, moving his wrist to make sure he still had the required manoeuvrability. Then, suddenly, Xavier was attacking, in his ignorance Vreem had failed to take into consideration just how quick his opponent may truly be. It almost cost him his life. Had he been but a moment slower his body would have hit the floor in two separate sizzling pieces right now. Instead, his body had responded seemingly by itself, whether it was muscle memory or the Force he couldn’t be sure, as Xavier’s attack swept upwards with a squadron of sharp-nosed fighters escorting it Vreem had stepped to the side so it barely missed his face whilst, by turning his head, he could avoid the shards of glass from blinding him, instead they burned into the back of his head, causing only a searing pain, nothing too serious. But then, at the height of the attack, the Dark Jedi’s second lightsaber burst to life as he moved to strike again.
Vreem had to be careful as he moved, he pivoted on his right leg and ducked low whilst at the same time bringing his left leg around in a large circle to try and sweep Xavier’s left leg from behind. This, however, was only the start of Vreem’s attack. He had decided, or more like his battle instincts had decided, that a sudden switch in style would completely throw his opponent and possibly give him an opening. And so in his low position Vreem sucked in the Force like a vacuum, and let it well up inside him. He set it speeding to every muscle in his body, letting the energy he had gained earlier push him beyond the limit of what some may consider physically possible. With his right root, which he had used to pivot on only moments earlier, he kicked off the ground in an incredible backwards summersault, his vibrant jade lightsaber still glimmering in his hand. As Vreem passed directly over Xavier’s head he brought down the saber in a potentially lethal strike to the back of he head. Then, due only to the possibilities of the Force, Vreem was able to twist his body upon his descent, bringing his saber across for a brief horizontal slash before he landed on his feet in a stance which left him extremely low to the ground.
He was out of practice, although he had mastered the style of Ataru it was never a simple style to use, and it could still go horribly wrong, as it almost had for Vreem, a few moments slower and he wouldn’t have landed properly, leaving him wide open. But instead he jumped up to his feet and back into the familiar stance of Makashi. How would the sudden outburst of an unpredictable style such as Ataru fair against Xavier? If anything it would reveal that this was a Jedi Master with a number of tricks up his sleeve.

Ryn looked up at Master Beleren "Ye. . . yes I can move" he spoke with a hushed tone. The knight slowly slid up the now bloodstained sandstone of the Sith tomb he then walked slowly towards master Beleren "I can move, but I'm not gonna go anywhere fast" he said. Then he looked over at the young girl who was obviously in pain, he could see it with his blind eyes. "Surely, though we cannot just leave this poor girl to die. Even if she is a dark sider, there has to be something we can do to ease her pain." Ryn said to Master Beleren, sounding empathetic.

Xavier smiled slightly as the glass shards hit the jedi, he kept his posture and gaurd up concentrating fully on the battle so he would not make any foolish mistakes. The jedi had spun low to the floor, using his speed he managed to sweep Xavier's legs from under neath him, He landed on his back with a thud. The dark jedi master spent no time at all before flipping back to his feet, the jedi in the mean time had initiated an ataru style attack, Xavier just manging to repell the overhead attack brushing Vreem's milimetres from his ear.
The second attackhowever would not test xavier so much, it was as if the world had gone into slow motion he looked to Vreem who was still majestically flipping in the air bringing his lightsaber for a horizontal attack, Xavier spun on the spot to face vreem and using his right hand lightsaber he attempted to meet aggression with aggression by swinging it to try to disarm vreem, whilst at the same time raising his left handed lightsaber to what would be Vreem's neck level.

Jace hear Vreem's message clearly, and even though Vreem said he would catch up with them, he felt that was not his intention at all. He heard Ryn's suggestion and looked from the valley back to the girl on the floor.
"Alright Ryn, just stand guard and prepare yourself to get moving"
Jace quickly made his way over to where the girl was, and sent him conscious searching through her. It was not easy since she was of the dark side, much was clouded to him.
There is not much I can do, she seems to have some sort of chronic illness
Jace quickly opened his palms and began to focus on the girl and the force. Jace was working on trying to suppress her pain temporarily for there was not much else he could do. He took a couple minutes and then ran back to where Ryn was.
"Ok Ryn, we have done what we can for her, its time to get off this rock. We will make for the ship, stop for nothing, I will try to bring them closer to us"
He clicked the comm on which he had taken from Jeh'rad and heard static and then a response
"Commander this is Jedi Master Jace Beleren, our company is in dire straits at the moment. We need exfil off this planet immedietly, we are in the valley. Bring the ship as close as possible, we will meet you on the west end of the valley...out"
He then turned to Ryn and nodded, supporting Ryn, Jace and Ryn made their way out of the tombs entrance attempting to get to the west end of the valley.

Oxygen returning to her system as she started to respire once more, Cassandra's Force sight seemed to flutter open from the center of her forehead, flickering dimly and catching a glimpse of the Two Jedi as they left her, Alive, and astoundingly enough, in less pain then before. Pushing herself up, the blind Human inhaled deep breaths, each exhalation bringing the taste of rust from her lungs to her tongue.
I should have thanked them she muttered to herself as she pulled her staff up and leaned against it, still gasping like a fish out of water. However, that was all that she trusted herself to say as she Hobbled towards the Door into the open plain on her own, head turning from left to right as she relived what had just happened both outside and around her, through the Residual Force that each person left.
Reaching into a small pouch hidden beneath her white Belt-sash, she withdrew a small respirator and fitted it into her mouth before heading back out into the sands. Blocking her mind off to casual probes, she thought as she walked If I ever encounter them again...Mercy is theirs but once.
That thought out of the way, she Stepped back out, into the Rolling dust of Korriban and made her way back towards the small Group that her Brother had assembled

The Jedi were moving, first the force had told him this fact. He quickly could feel it, his eyes soon showed him that he was correct. They were moving out of the tombs. He growled in anger they were going to escape. He rose from his position and looked down at them. He couldn't take on both of them alone. Even with Tesa he probably couldn't survive through a battle with the master. He could only watch them slip from between his fingers. He wanted them to remember one thing before they left...he sent them a message...
"What hypocrisy! You Jedi say fear leads to the darkness? What other reason but fear could you be leaving now. You come here seaking what? Dark Jedi? Knowledge? You find them and then you flee. Don't you have any honor! Your father's would be ashamed! Such cowardism!"

“Had to get a last word in, did we?” Tesa purred to Daren, lost between her world and reality. Her mind was still working, asking questions to herself, as she observed Xavier and Vreem. It was amazing to the extremes someone can get lost within their own mind. It was more deadly if one was meditating. Tesa already was able to lose herself thinking about theories and possible laws of life. Meditation could be deadly for the acolyte. To indulge herself that far would be like running into a thick, wooden forest with no compass or way of finding the path back out. And Tesa wouldn’t be that stupid. It had been the death of her last master. It could be the death of her if she decided to dwell on it for long periods of time daily. Every once and a while did she sit down and open herself up for in depth meditation with the Force.
She sensed the Force surge, even within her thinking trance. Korriban had restored any energy lost over her travels. Tesa felt full again, but she would have to be wary in case she started to demand the Force increasingly over the next few minutes. With the soil of the planet but about an inch under her feet, it would be easy to abandon all precaution and continue to drain and consume of all power with Korriban. That would be harsh on the body, the container of the Force. Not to mention the hurt it would bring to the conscious state when the sedation and comfort wore away.
It was like getting teeth pulled or going through major surgery. The medics or doctors or whoever performing the surgery put you into an unconscious state of mind, numbing you out of everything in the world. When you awoke, you were groggy, maybe still experiencing the numbness. The next few hours pass, and you begin to feel the pain. And it burned and throbbed and beat at you like a drum inside your head or stung as sharp as a knife piercing through you. Otherwise, the affects kicked in, and unless you had the painkiller, it bothered you for some time, while making it seem to your mental world as lasting for weeks when only minutes have passed.
And if Tesa began feasting on Korriban’s energy, she’d be further under the numbing effect. But as soon as they were off this planet, she’d be having painful fits with nothing to cure herself of the aches. It just wouldn’t do to end up writing in pain.
Her gaze was torn from the lightsaber battle scuffling before her and Daren. She was noting anything she could identify, especially the lightsaber stances and slashes and forms. Just moments ago, she had been thinking: “Makashi, Makashi, Makashi for Vreem. Dear GOD, that’s Ataru!” She could recognize the lightsaber form she was currently learning to study. Though Tesa preferred relying on solely her Force powers, there was the occasion she knew she’d have to lit her lightsaber to benefit her defense. As much as stealth and swiftness did for her, there were times that the opponent was just as tactful, just as scheming, just quick and as reflexive as she was. And though she studied the lightsaber form, she practiced to try and AVOID getting hit more than she wished to block with a ‘saber.
Her eyes searched over Daren’s face, then flickered to the tomb’s entrance. She did a double take. The Jedi were long sneaking away. It was who was hobbling toward them now that surprised her the most.
“Cassandra?” Tesa nearly choked on the name. What was the thin bodied girl doing limping TOWARD them from the TOMB? Bewildered, Tesa tossed her head side to side, noticing that, in fact, Cassandra was not anywhere near them. So it wasn’t a trick of the eyes. Cassandra had somehow gotten away, and had penetrated into the tomb without Vreem’s knowing. Tesa smiled a little, but it was quickly snuffed. Urgency overcame her as she felt a pain in Cassandra’s body.
This related back to training once more: As low as the pain was, Tesa could sense it when her eyes fell upon the girl. Because Tesa was a Force commander instead of a battlemaster, she needed someway to get energy. Fear, pain, rage, passion, triumph, and all those emotions and feelings that Jedi considered ‘evil’ and banished from their mind were Tesa’s food source. She drew upon those feelings, sucking her victim dry as if a vampire bat drinking blood and converted it to energy to dwell upon to bolster her Force powers. She had supreme command over that, of course, and Tesa did not need to draw upon Cassandra’s pain to help her. Korriban supplied that.
And that urgency was of Cassandra’s safety as she crossed the distance between the entrance and her and Daren. Vreem could more than likely sense her, given his gift with the Force. And for a moment, Tesa was undecided whether or not to dash over and escort Cassandra back here, where she could be more properly looked after. If she didn’t, Cassandra was in more danger, if she did, she could bring recognition to them if Vreem hadn’t given Cassandra a thought just yet.
Making sure Cassandra survived got the better of Tesa. One moment, Tesa was standing there, and the next was a simple swirl of a dust and an imprint where she had stood. Gone. With her own speed and reinforcement of the Force, Tesa smothered her presence and sent confusing ripples through the Force to confused Vreem best she could. Relying on her own speed, Tesa crossed the distance quickly at a dead sprint. A shower of dust and small pebbles rolled across the dusty surface and Tesa came to a halt beside Cassandra, seeming to appear from no where after using a combination of illusions and shadows to mask her physical appearance.
“You seem a little off,” Tesa murmured to her, referring to the pain she sensed. “What kind of trouble did you run into?”

Jace clearly heard what the Dark Jedi had said, and just shook his head. He was young and naive, Jace wasn't about to explain to him all the intricacies of the force and the Jedi Code. Jace and Ryn had finally made it to where the Ship had come to pick them up. He handed Ryn over to the Commandos and sent his thoughts outward toward Vreem.
"Master Vreem, The time is now! We must go before it is too late, please there is no time left."
Inside Jace knew that Vreem was not going to be coming with them, he could sense his resolve. He worried for his friend and fellow Jedi Member, but he was strong, and he could tell he wasn't going to die just yet.

(OOC: Sorry all, around Christmas things get a little hectic for me. Sorry the end was rushed, just wanted to get things moving for y’all.)
After the swift and graceful movements of both combatants, they came to a sudden halt at the end of their bout, almost in perfect unison. Xavier had his weapon pointed at Vreem, who had been unable to move from his low stance. Vreem’s weapon was ready in his right hand, extended from his body. He looked up, locking onto the peaceful yet deadly end of the lightsaber which was pointing at his head, as if it were marking him for death. Then with a swift flick of his eyes, he was caught upon the snare of Xavier’s gaze. Darkness, that was all he saw, a think brimming pool of darkness, even looking at them made Vreem feel as if he were drowning, choking upon it. He fought back the gagging reflex just barely.
After the few moments of respite they moved again. Vreem pounced up, going on the offensive which, given his position, was not the wisest of options. But then again, what about battle was wise? He burst to a standing position, his saber crashing across Xavier’s extended blade. And then, following the trends of Makashi, he pivoted on his front foot to dig even deeper into his opponents trenches, if he could get in close enough he could break his opponent’s defences with relative ease. Yet, Vreem knew the calibre of the man in front of him; this would not be his end. So, the Jedi chose a more subtle manoeuvre to try and catch his opponent off guard. It was a movement he had used earlier, although not in combat with this opponent, it had happened in the battle in his mind, the confrontation which still burned in his mind. Whilst he pivoted he let his free hand clutch at the floor with the Force, taking a large ‘handful’ of the dust, dirt and grit. Before he had fully turned around he used the Force to throw all of these objects at Xavier, a distraction for the blow he would throw and the Dark Jedi’s neck.
Feeling a pull in the Force, Vreem immediately sprang back from the close proximity he had been in. It was then that Master Beleren’s voice spoke to him within his mind. Holding his saber up ready as a guard Vreem spoke to Jace through the Force, he sounded almost happy as he did so. ”Master Beleren… Jace, you knew what I planned to do from the moment I stepped out of that tomb. Go now, while there’s still time! Whatever you do don’t come back for me. I don’t know how and I don’t know when, but I’ll find my way back to Coruscant, of that you have my word. Make sure to keep my seat on the Council open, and tell the Mistress I’m sorry. Goodbye.” With that Vreem let go of all his baggage, all of his emotion which had been building up. It was something he’d become extremely good at, one had to as a Jedi, even more so as a Council Member, to serve as an example to everyone else he needed to be able to do such a thing.
Now he focused on the scene before him, he stood between four Dark Jedi and the ship he needed to protect. A number of ideas passed through his mind, most severely flawed and risky. Instead of depending upon thought, Vreem did something he hadn’t done in a while, he let the Force full guide his actions and thoughts. There were flashes in his mind, images of a plan which would require a lot of focus and determination as well as the exertion of a great deal of energy.
It started with a deep, calming breath. Pulse by pulse the beat of Vreem’s heart slowly dulled until it beat with the rhythm of the Force, harmoniously. Then, as the grand conductor to the show, Vreem stepped up, raised his arms and called forth his instruments. He closed his eyes and let the tempo control his movements. Around the valley a number of rocks, boulders and other large solid objects lifted from the ground, dancing in the air with grace and elegance rarely seen in even the greatest of dancers. With a explosive push the dancers burst into their finale with deadly force. Master, Knight or Apprentice, it didn’t matter to Vreem, the Force or the heavy and numerous rocks, each was a target which would need to be eliminated. As he threw them, Vreem would make sure to give his opponents a harder time by using another of his unique techniques.
This move, as most of his techniques, drew from his knowledge of the lightning and the light. Raising an open palm, he made the gesture many used to propel their lightning attack, but Vreem focused this attack, melded and shifted it into a different form and when he released it there was no apparent affect. Yet the technique would cause a flash in the eyes of all those present, apart from the blind of course. It was known as Force Blind and although it caused no permanent damage, it would mean that the Dark Jedi would be preoccupied dodging the boulders whilst blind. The effects could be countered, but it was merely the surprise of the attack which Vreem wanted, because that would give him more time as he turned and sprinted away from the Valley of the Dark Lords and, spotting a cave, he ran within it. He collapsed the entrance and ran into its depths, breathing heavily for a little while he would be completely exhausted. Yet, he didn’t have the time to rest because if they followed he’d need all of the distance between himself and them that he could gather. So Vreem ran, for the first of many times, but he ran knowing full and well that his comrades had escaped. That just meant one thing. Now he was all alone.

Jace could only sigh heavily as he watched Vreem off in the distance, and the ships motors urging him to get out of there. He looked out in the valley of sand, of darkness, of death. There would be time to reflect on what had happened here, but Jace's duty was now to the commandos and Ryn.
Its too bad that things ended the way they did, but it was the will of the force...
With that thought, he took one last look at the Valley, and the presences there.
"We shall all meet again in the future...."
He turned to the commando standing behind him
"Commander, Its time we go home..."
The Commando nodded, and gave the orders to the crew, and the ship quickly accelerated away.
Five Jedi had come to Korriban, and now only two were leaving it.

The two, they were gone. In her own twisted mind, Cassandra couldn't help but smirk. The Master had decided to sacrifice himself so that the Lesser Jedi could Escape, Could make their getaway. Oh well, it was bound to happen somehow, Right? The Jedi were always doing something like that, Sacrificing themselves to Save others. Cassandra could never understand it. Everyone died, This she knew as a fact, she had seen and Dealt with death for years on end now.
What she could never understand is Dying for someone else, to Further their Causes and Goals of Life and whatnot. Yes, Cassandra was assisting Xavier. Really though? She had her reasons for that. Xavier, brother though he may be, was a tool, an item to use that she would Further herself with. Already he had instructed her in the usage of her Saberstaff, really only a long stick with a Saber's hilt Attached to the end.
Soon though. Soon, she knew that Xavier would be taking his entire posse to see the Sith Lords, and that was when Cassandra would move up in the world, leaving her Irrational, immature, petty Brother behind in a whirlwind of Broken hearts and Destroyed trust. She would become an adviser to the Lords, she would become one who influenced them and Assisted them in Furthering their own, and her, goals.
Snapping out of her Momentary Bonhomie, Cassandra turned to Tesa. The Girl was confused, utterly unsure as to how Cassandra had managed to Find herself in the Temple, really though, it was no concern of hers. Faking a rather Large Cough, Cassandra turned her Sight to Vreem Took, then to Xavier, and finally Tesa Again. Coughing once more, she forced a splatter of Blood to Rise up in her Phlegm.
Just then, she stopped. Cassandra had been about to talk, but a Building Maelstrom in the Force seemed to Fetter her tongue with it's strength. All around her, she could 'seethe boulders and stones and even pebbles, rising from the surface and spinning around the valley, around them all like lethal cannon shot and bullets galore. Yet, even still, Vreem's aura of Force energy was still growing stronger, compressing and shrinking before it suddenly Flared outward, with a Flash that would have blinded anyone with Physical sight.
Bending herself backwards, twisting her spine with a sickening cracking noise, Cassandra dodged one of the Heavy, yet smaller stones that had Flown at her speedily. She hadn't been Affected by the Flaring light, but had seen what it would do to the others.
It was at this point that Cassandra appreciated being able to See several moments further into the immediate future then the majority of her 'Allies'
In the moment of this Reflection, however, Cassandra forgot to Actually pay attention to the situation at hand, and Straightening up involuntarily, she suddenly realized that a Rather Large piece of Ferrous Earth was headed at her Gut, at a Rather rapid speed.
When the Rock impacted, all of the air was forced from Cassandra in a rushing "oomph" sound as she was pushed back, slammed into the wall, and then collapsed onto the ground, her eyeless sockets tearing up from the pain. OOF she muttered in pain. No fair, low blow she murmered then, passing out immediatly afterwards and laying there, on the sandy floor
She had seen this day, nearly a week before, and Cassie knew. This was neither Xavier's, not Took's Day to die. However, unless she acted with Caution, Her demise would be imminent. There were three paths, and only two led to her Survival, one with Tesa at her side, and Daren at Xavier's... First though, she would have to survive herself.

Tesa placed herself between the heated battle and Cassandra, shadowing the smaller and frailer woman from any immediate danger that could’ve happened. The pain was heaving off the seer in massive waves. Tesa had shut down her sense that consumed feelings and turned them from her use. She didn’t need to satisfy power drainage, or overload herself with senses of demeaning feelings or emotions of others.
The coughing was absolutely horrible. Tesa crinkled her nose in disgust. It was nasty sounding. It sounded wet, and the hacking was coming from deep within. Tesa understood when something was dislodging in the throat. Coming from further into the body…
“Ugh,” she groaned, face twisting a little further. “Just… UGH. Son of a Kath Hound… seriously, what happened in there? You sound like your lungs have collapsed and melted into a thick goo that’s sticking to your throat and you’re trying to clear it. And that’s gross. Let’s get you back to the ship.”
And Tesa then regretted paying far more attention to the seer than the battle. She turned, bracing a hand on Cassandra’s shoulder to help her to the ship. Vreem unleashed his attack as soon as one step was taken. The flash of light was excruciating, burning through Tesa’s eyes and searing nerves that allowed her to see. Tesa yelped more in surprise, a fraction of it laced with pain. It was bright. Far too bright. Ouch.
The air shifted with a power, and strange sounds began to rise. Of course, there was the sounds of the rocks exploding into tinier pieces. Well, not so much rocks as the chunks were still the size of boulders. And it wasn’t like she could SEE them anyway. Tesa cursed her rotten luck, condemning it to whatever the hottest planet in the galaxy was. If she had paid attention, she could have prepared more. And if she had prepared more, she couldn’t be hit with rocks at the moment.
A stone pinged off her head. Her eyesight lost to her, Tesa hadn’t noticed it until she found herself awkwardly stumbling to the side. She snarled, still muttering curses lightly under her breath as she tried to focus. Her senses weren’t as keen as many Force users. Tesa never really took into consideration her eyesight might be lost. This was proving to be a real problem.
She calmed her head and stopped talking under her breath, forcing herself to concentrate. The apprentice stretched with the Force, touching the three other people in her party, noting how far they were from her. She was relying on photographic memory as well. If she remembered correctly…
Yes, she was about halfway between the tomb and Daren. And the ship… was further away than Daren was. And…Cassandra was…
There was a sickening crack that led Tesa to call out the small girl’s name. Pebbles and good sized rocks continued to pepper her body, bruising it under some cases. Her shoulder was clipped and a pained grunt escaped her nose as she searched through the Force for Cassandra. A splitting pain was beginning to throb on the top of her head, where a fist sized stone bounced off. That one made her wince. The smaller the chunks were, the more difficult to sense. Her heart rate was pounding in her throat. How did the seer actually go throughout life in some sort of realm like this? It was… frightening.
Tesa tried shoving her fear to a corner of her mind. Without her sight, she was much clumsier. She needed to concentrate on being mindful where her feet were now. Her grace was lost. She stumbled and always came close to falling.
“Cassandra?” she asked again. She didn’t hear a reply. “Good gracious.”
Something cold knitted between her shoulder blades. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, the cold traveling down her spine and triggering one word in her brain: Danger. Tesa ducked a medium sized boulder, but the feeling did not ward off. She let go of Xavier and Daren and targeted Cassandra’s presence more firmly, following it like a trail through the forest.
The danger grew stronger the closer she neared the seer. Something hissed overhead; large, looming, menacing. It was a monster of a boulder. There was a loud roar and sudden thud followed by a splitting crack. The color from Tesa’s face drained as she now knew where Cassandra was; perched against a wall and unconscious. That boulder had just broken the wall.
Tesa lurched forward, forgetting about footing, throwing herself forward. She smashed herself against the wall, grating her cheek and she turned hurriedly and collected Cassandra’s body under her. She let go of her senses and targeting through the Force and focused on survival. She drew within her and thrust out, projecting almost something of the likes of a protective bubble. The first piece of rock wall collapse on her shield and Tesa gasped at the weight of it. Her fingers, with such delicately manicured nails that would take her a while to fix again, dug into sand and stone.
She almost buckled as the stones continued to pelt upon her and Cassandra. The rumbling finally stopped, and all Tesa could hear was her panting from exertion. Her arms trembled, but she once more gathered her reserves and heaved a burst of the Force. It wasn’t enough to send boulders flying in all sorts of directions, but just enough to push them away from above them. They crumbled over the sides to make like a crater Cassandra and Tesa were nestled into.
“I got ya.”

Daren moved around in the dust wildly. His hood had fallen off and he was blinded. He couldn't have seen even if he hadn't been because of the dust. He struggled to calm himself down. He rose his hood and tried to cover his mouth and breath. He focused on the force and was able to see the Valley a little better. The Jedi were trying to escape, Xavier was missing from his view. He searched for his master, he could feel the other two Dark Jedi and they were in danger. He couldn't make it to them in time. His vision was becoming restored and all he could see was dust and dirt. He growled and looked around the rocks. "Xavier!" He called out moving around the rubble with the force. He couldn't take on the master Jedi so he had to find Xavier if they had any hope of stopping them. He struggled to move some of the bigger rocks and lifted one up revealing Xavier.
