Bane watched as Ambra and Trin silenced the guards in a matter of moments. He gave the signal to the driver and he moved the transport in position at the service entrance. This way they could get the basilisk in the transport as fast as possible. Bane nodded to Mal and they both hopped out of the transport and moved to the service entrance. Bane raised his blaster quickly as the door slid open, only to see Itani's smug face.
Bane heard his comm unit crackle and heard Italia's warning come through. Bane didn't like what he was hearing, they needed to move and it needed to be fast.
"Itani!Velos!get up to Italia's position and give her whatever tech support she needs. I am not taking any chances on this, you know what to do if you encounter any guards. I want status reports every three minutes. We rendezvous back here in 15 minutes."
He nodded to them and then turned to Mal and Ambria.
"Mal, Arcane..your with me. We are first going to clear the designated route of security so we can get that basilisk out of here. Hopefully by the time we reach Ark, he will have already convinced it. And if not...."
Bane left that thought hanging there, he didn't need to spell it out for them. Bane made a quick series of hand motions which translated to Ambria leading, and Mal holding the rear and the final signaling to move out.
The clock was ticking...

Trin heard Italia's warning before Bane's orders and was already looking through her gear to see if she had anything that could help with the sentry system. She had done some work with security systems like that in the past, but they were tricky, and required specific equipment. Since Italia was the expert slicer on this mission, Trin hadn't bothered to bring anything but the basics in case they needed it. She wasn't sure if she could be any real help, but it would be better to try than to just sit there and do nothing.
When Bane barked his orders, Trin nodded and turned to the man who she was now assuming was Italia's brother. Their names even sounded alike... how cute. But there was no time to think about family naming traditions, not when their whole operation could be brought to a grinding halt in no time flat. Hopefully Ark could do his part and get that Droid on their side before the whole thing came crashing down.
Slinging her pack over her shoulder, Trin waited for Itani to move first. He knew where his sister had gone, and so it was up to him to lead the way. After a moment, she decided to reaffirm her position as follower. Right behind you. She said, her smiling face only giving off a slight hint that perhaps they should hurry the heck up.

Ambria nodded, holstering her heavy blaster and picking up her smaller one from her left hip. Smaller but not at all less poweful. Making sure the silencer was secure, she moved it to her right hand for better handling. With the close confines of the museum, it would be too awkward for her sniper rifle. However, it might prove useful later for cover, especially if they had problems leaving with Ark.
After Trin and Itani had entered, she waited an extra minute or two before going through the breached door herself with Bane and Mal following her. She jogged through the twisting maze of hallways, trying to get her bearings, comparing what she was seeing with what she remembered of the museum blueprints. Since they entered from the service entrance, Ambria had a vague idea of which direction to head for.
So far everything seemed quiet, but Ambria knew it also seemed too quiet and slowed her movement to a walk, putting out her hand so that Bane and then Mal wouldn't run into her as they approached a corner. Hopefully they would slow down as well. Moving forward slowly, she turned her head first one way then the other, focusing where the hall turned. She figured they were close to getting out of the service areas and into the guest area of the museum. The area the guards would be most concerned about.
She flexed her fingers around the trigger of the blaster before tightening her grip. Ambria moved closer to the corner to take a peek. Spotting a pair of guards also quietly moving through the hall but away from them, she aim and fired. Both fell with smoking holes in their backs. She gestured at Bane and Mal to move forward and did so herself, jogging around the dead bodies.
The hallway widened into a large room with small artifacts; they were getting closer to their destination. But since the room offered little to no cover--the artifacts were small and attached to walls or resting on short tables, Ambria moved slowly to make sure there were no other guards waiting for them. If they were lucky, she had already killed the only two responding. But she knew that was also probably a 5% chance. There were always more guards. Thanks to her quick shooting, though, they hadn't know the three of them were there and hadn't had time to alert their friends.
Seeing the room was clear, she lead the trio out and into more display rooms. Gauging from the map in her head, they were about halfway to Ark's resting place. With plenty of places for guards to be lurking. Ambria slowed to a fast walk and kept her blaster at the ready, flipping it back to her left hand and pulling out her second, heavier blaster pistol. With both in her grips, she walked on past ancient statues, keeping an eye and ear out for out-of-place noises.

Above the Planet's Surface, the Timer aboard the Bonus Credit seemed to tick slowly as She waited in her chair. Behind her, down a deck or two, Several of the other Mandolorians assigned to the ship for this mission were cleaning weapons, or Checking seals, or goddess knows what else. That didn't matter to Her. Running a Hand through silky, purple hair, Celke Tarria only cared about one thing right now.
Blowing up that Ship.
It would be Epic, A blast that would spread debris through space in all directions, maybe even causing fecal matter from within to Rain down on the Cityplanet's Surface. Now THAT would be hilarious to watch on the Holonet, yes indeedy.
But her orders hadn't come yet, She didn't know when they would, but they were supposed to be coming soon she hoped. Then again, maybe they wouldn't need the distraction, meaning that she could just do it now and Cause some chaos for the Hell of it... Thinking like that tended to get the Chief warrant officer into trouble, more often than not.
Better wait
Yup...Just wait.

Mal nodded at Bane's orders, apparently he wanted the over-sized near human to cover their six. That would be fun. It would mostly involve a lot of back-pedaling and near constant glances over the shoulder to ensure that he wasn't off by his lonesome. He sighed as he re-adjusted the weight of the duffel bags that hung off of each shoulder, they were fairly heavy... even for him.
The massive man was covering Arcane and Bane's six he saw nothing most of the time. Good. The less people that he saw meant less carrion would be made, and that would translate into a lower chance of random guard #33667322 finding said cadaver. He sighed a little, his massive magnetic accelerator rifle just begged to launch a hypersonic tungsten slug into someone... it hadn't done so in far too long. But no, he hoped that he didn't have to kill anyone on this mission, there was too much death going on in the galaxy already for a few guards to die. He began to think how this mission would affect more then just the Mandalorians. How it would affect the soldiers that would fight in the war, the mourning wives, the fatherless sons... he shook his head to clear his mind of those thoughts. They were counter productive and distracting.
They were now in a display room, full of ancient statues and relics from a long forgotten war or something like that. He was never one for history, save that of the Mandalorians and the Aphithiri. The noise of footsteps on the marble floor caught his attention, apparently one of the guards' patrol roots happened to be leading him straight for the small mando squad.
Mal would have none of that. He shouldered his massive rifle and aimed right where the chest of your average man would be. Just as the guy rounded the corner Mal pulled the trigger back once, sending a hypersonic slug into the man's chest.
Surprisingly, the MAR made little more noise then the blaster did, it was about as loud as the popping of a cork from a wine bottle. The results were devastating despite the noise generated, however, because the 15mm round was designed to open up inside the body it wreaked havoc with the man's internal organs, the tungsten casing was little more then hypersonic fragments that were embedded into the wall, and the internal gel was more or less all over the bullet hole. He crumpled to the ground. Mal instantly turned to his comrades and spoke in a quiet tone... compared to his usual tone anyways. He honestly wasn't that quiet... but quieter than he normally was.
"Umm... We should probably hurry this up. If a guard discovers the bodies this op is FUBAR faster then you can say Fission Mailed."

Italia wasn't having a good time of things. The blasted program was 'fixing' the 'problems' she'd made as it went along, causing her to have to go back around it and muss things up all over again. Add to this the fact that she was trying to figure out a way to disable the program and it made for a very stressed Lia. The worst part was, as soon as it seemed she would be able to disable the security system that was trolling about, it would change formats on her and appear somewhere new!
Huffing, she would barely hear Trin and Lat approaching, grabbing for where her blaster would have been and finding it not there. Cursing herself for forgetting about that fact, she didn't even bother to look at the other two, instead going back to what she had been doing.
What are you guys doing here? I thought you were helping Bane? Oh well...since you're here, Trin, you have any slicing skills? Lat, I need you to make sure no one's coming I don't feel like being caught by security, this is bad enough...

Itani's cocky grin only lingered until his eyes had scanned the group, couldn't be too careful. He nodded as Bane pushed his way into the building proper, the others in tow. He remembered Mal but never got a chance to converse with the two women so it was news when he caught the names Trin and Ambria. Both of them were lookers in their own way but his ogling was cut short by Bane's sharp orders. Itani's feet remained firmly planted until Trin had approached him, seemed like a charming girl. Lets go. With out so much as a tip of the hat he turned and silently sprinted back through the storage area in the direction of his sister.
After winding himself he finally reached Italia, she was incredibly engrossed in her work but he did notice her reach for a non-existent blaster pistol. The obvious concern in her voice hinted at something much worse than his pre-conceived notions. A problem with the programming of the security system perhaps?
On it, sis. Keep an eye on her for me Trin.
Stepping back into the shadows he gave them both an eerie grin, his neutral colored clothing aiding with his concealment. Slowly he slipped around the corner blocking the other two from view. The guardsmen would be trying to break down this little operation at any time when they realized the rear entrance had been compromised.
Almost as if on cue a pair of humans dressed in blue and black uniforms tromped through a far door, too noisy to be missed. Itani waited for them to get close enough, his muscled bunching and releasing uncomfortably. A blaster shot caused him to jump and the guards to look in the direction of the storage hanger where he had let Bane in. Reliably, the two of them turned and made in that direction. Their choice of path took them directly in front of Itani; bad idea. In one movement he had unsheathed a pair of his nerve agent coated throwing knives and flung them at the guards; piercing the first guard in the leg, the other in the neck. Unable to stifle a gurgle they collapsed into a heap. Nonlethal but instantaneous, oh how I've missed these. He patted the small pack on his hip that held the handful of knives.
Straining with the effort he pulled the guards one at a time behind into a small alcove where he reclaimed his knives and dumped the unconscious bodies in a litter bin. As an afterthought he reached in and snatched one of the guards blaster pistols that didn't have trash on it. Returning to the shadows he walked back over to Trin and Lia. Without saying a word he slid the blaster pistol along the ground so it struck his sister lightly on the soul of her foot. Pleased with his work he turned back to his position.

Trin followed behind Itani quickly, and almost as quietly. Her gear made a little more noise than she would have liked, but such was life. They reached Italia, who seemed confused that they were there, but quickly overlooked the change in plans and told them what she needed. When Italia asked if she had any slicing skills, Trin almost laughed.
Well, I was the expert until we found you. She said with a hint of sarcasm, but no animosity in her voice. She wasn't going to pout because someone else got to do the slicing work. Italia was the one with the experience at this place, after all. As Itani moved away, she gave a slightly sarcastic salute with two fingers over her brow. But it came with a smile, hopefully he wouldn't take offense. Sarcasm had been bred into her from a young age. It was second nature and unintentional... most of the time.
Here, I'll take the regular systems, you take care of that patrolling one. She said, turning back to Italia and taking out her own datapad and quickly jumping in on the game. With Trin working on getting the basic systems back the way they wanted, Italia could focus all her work on the apparent upgrade.
As she got started, she heard the unmistakable sounds of unwanted intruders. With one hand still working away on the datapad, Trin's other hand was slowly extracting one of her small pistols from its holster on her thigh. But even before she could have it all the way out, a familiar whiz of rushing air and a couple of thuds on the ground signaled that Itani had taken them out. Trin returned the pistol to its holster and got back to work.
She could see why Italia had been frustrated. It seemed that just moments after getting things the way she wanted, the other system was fixing what she had started on. But Trin couldn't worry about the other system, she had to stick with the basic ones to give Italia the time she needed. So she kept at it, hoping that these sibling strangers were worth it.

Bane's eyes were scanning quickly from left to right, there wasn't much time left. Ambria and Mal had both taken care of the guards that they had encountered. They were almost to where Ark was supposed to be on display. They hadn't encountered any real problems, but there were bodies lying around now. Someone was bound to notice and eventually find them. On top of that, Bane didn't like what he had heard from Italia about the security system.
They were making their way quickly down a hallway approaching another on the right forming a big 'T'. Ambria quickly crossed along the intersection, and Bane quickly followed. He suddenly saw movement out of the corner of his eye. His hand flashed to his vest, grabbing a blade. He spun to his left a little more than 180 degrees, and sent the blade flying into the guards throat. The guard dropped to the ground, gurgling due to his own blood, and then went silent.
After another two minutes of navigating through hallways and corridors, they arrived at Arks location. With a quick motion of his hand, he signaled Mal and Ambria to guard the sides.
"Ark we need to move now" said Bane is a low tone, but with urgency in his voice.
Bane just hoped that Ark had managed to convince this basilisk. Bane had a bad feeling, and he had learned to trust his gut over the years.

In one fluid motion, Ambria moved over to the other side of the room where Ark was waiting for them and holstered her two blasters before reaching over her shoulder for her sniper rifle. Checking its power, she crouched down by a display case mostly out of sight and lowered her scope to watch one of the entrances to the room. With most of her weight settled on her prosthetic left leg, she could wait for hours without tiring, something she had learned a couple years ago when she had first gotten the leg. And something that came in handy for situations like these.
Everything seemed quiet, almost eerily so. Ambria hoped it was a good sign, so far. Because if they began to hear a lot of din and ruckus coming their way, that meant the security system was fully armed and operational. And then they would have seven forms of hell to deal with if the guards came their way before they got the basilisk and Ark ready to leave. And their operation would suddenly become a lot shorter.
Ambria calmed her breathing and focused her eye to looking through her scope, repeatedly scanning around for any movement. Unfortunately, though, if she did find intruders, one fallen body would just alert the rest of them. She prayed to whatever gods who still believed in her that it wouldn't come to that. Her reflexes with the rifle were quick, but she didn't think they were quite that quick. She flexed her trigger finger, waiting, keeping one ear on what was happening behind her with Bane and Ark, the other tuned to the outside of the room.

"Fine I will.....scanning.." the Droid broke off mid sentence. "Life forms detected." Ark turned towards the direction the droid was looking and hefted a improvised weapon, in this case a sign to do battle if it was a guard. Raising the Sign above his head he prepared to strike as Bane entered the area. He freezed his arm a few inches over banes head as he realized who it is. "Bane you need to warn people before you do that" ark said with a snort as he dropped the sign. "But I was just enjoying myself." he replied to bane before looking at the droid. "But yest we're ready."

Bane didn't even react to Ark's comment, his eyes just contacted until they were barely slits. As soon as he got the confirmation from Ark, he whistled quietly, circling his index finger in the air signaling for Ambria and Mal to fall in.
"Alright, we need to get this hulk in the transport and fast. I don't know how we are going to get a giant cyborg and a basilisk out fast, but we are going to do it. Mal and Ambria, I want you both to take point, I will cover our six..." he quickly stated as they formed up.
He then clicked his comm.
"Itani, we have the basilisk and are moving out now. I want you and Velos to get to the service entrance ASAP. I want Italia out of there too, I don't care how much she argues. We need to move. Bane out" he stated as he clicked off his comm. He wanted them all on that transport as soon as they loaded the basilisk. It was a quick grab and run mission, nothing more nothing less, or so Bane hoped.
"Alright people, lets move out" he said with a nod to the others.
The feeling of foreboding which he had earlier, had still left. Bane didn't like that at all, not one bit. He had a job to do though, and it didn't entail whining about gut feelings. He drew his pistol and checked it;Bane wasn't going to take any chances. Bane turned 180 degrees looking behind to back sure no one was coming. He slowly walked backwards until the 'Convoy' as he thought of it, really began to move.
Somewhere deep inside Bane's mind he was wondering what he was doing with two multi-ton machines in a Museum on a Spec Ops mission.

Italia huffed into her mic, the warm and exhaust filled air of the planet pushed out of her lungs in a show of mild irritation at Bane's words.
Bane, unless you all want to be locked inside I need to stay here until everyone's out the door...then I'll pull and run. You have three minutes before the ghost program catches me and then all hell will break loose with those alarms. Try to be out by then cause once they go off I can't keep the place from locking you in.
She stated firmly before turning to the others with her and picking up the blaster that Lat had thrown to her from the guard. Lia tossed an unruly bit of hair away from her eyes before glancing back at the datapad in her hands and shaking her head slightly.
Lat, I need you to get the Star ready to go, you're the only one I trust with her. Trin go meet up with Bane and the others, I'll be behind you in about three minutes.
Holding out a hand for the datapad Trin was holding, Lia didn't bother to look up as she started packing things into her belt while still keeping as many of the security systems down as possible while avoiding the patrolling program.

((Sorry for the crap post, but I just want to get things rolling with this thread again))
Mal nodded at Bane as he jogged past the man with the barrel of the rifle pointing at the ground and the stock snug against his shoulder. Should a man happen to meander on over to the group he could bring the barrel up and fire the gun within half a second. That threat would meet a swift and quiet end via hypersonic tungsten slug.
He started off towards the doors, he trusted these folks enough to think that they were right behind him.

(sorry for taking so long, I have numerous things that just piled up all at once and swallowed my time.)
A crackle burst forth from Lat's head set, followed by Lia's voice. He detected a hint of worry buried under her determined tone. She was still having troubles with the security system? Lia's request, however, made him take pause; he was to go get the Star ready and prepare for launch. That meant they were close, very close! Itani cursed as he realized it, the Star was still at the spaceport. He would have to summon an air taxi to make any sort of time.
Copy that, Lia. It will take me some time to get to the spaceport, try to buy some time. I'll also see if the defense force radio chatter indicates any clue on their part.
Bursting from his concealment he tore past the others making a break for the rear door. They would probably suspect something if he emerged from the front after closing time so he would have to take the long route. He was heartened as he burst through the back door, there had been no guards to impede his progress. Maybe, just maybe they could get out unnoticed. It took him a moment but he finally reached a spot where he could hail a taxi and not arouse suspicion. As the taxi pulled up he tuned his datapad to the local defense network and synched it to his earpiece.
Spaceport please. He said in a casual tone.
The short flight later he was standing outside the Ghost Star, nothing about the museum had been mentioned on the network or the defense frequency. A glimmer of hope arose in his belly as he tromped up the boarding ramp. Quickly Latus began the activation procedure and plopped down in the pilot seat. What he heard then sent a shiver up his spine.
Unit 442 and 913, we have lost contact with our officers inside the CMH. Head over there and check it out.
Cursing several times he switched his earpiece back to that of the operation. It wouldn't be long until the others were discovered by the feds.
We have a problem, folks. The blues are on their way to check out the museum. I don't have to tell you what that means! Get that basilisk and evac ASAP.
Cursing again Itani felt his stomach clench, the Star was taking an unusually long time to power on. Hurry up, hurry up!

Hearing Bane speak, Ambria jumped up quickly from her crouching position. Though she was comfortable waiting there for hours, it was good to get up on her two feet again. A couple of stretches and she was good as new. She slung her sniper rifle back over her shoulder before reaching down to grab her two blaster pistols, the smaller one in her left, the larger in her right.
As she checked to make sure everything was in place and arranged comfortably on her body, she listened to the plans. It all seemed straightforward enough and easy. But Ambria also know from experience that whenever something ever sounded easy, it meant there was quite possibly a lot of pain ahead. She tightened then relaxed the grip on her two blasters as she wanted for the colonel to finish.
She nodded to her commanding officer and took off at jog, following Mal out of the room where they had found Ark. Ambria shut out the noise of the two huge machines following behind her, staying a half meter behind Mal and just to his left. Almost like a fighter pilot following her wingman.
As they moved along the corridors and through various rooms, she hoped that the tall being in front of her remembered the way back to the service entrance. But when she began to look around her, keeping her blasters at her sides and ready, she recognized some of the artifacts. Good, they were on the right track. And so far they hadn't been met with any other guards on their way to the exit. Ambria tried to force the feelings that this mission had been way too easy out of her mind. Instead, she just focused her eyes harder as they moved through the museum.

Trin ignored Italia's request that she leave for a moment. She was in the middle of shutting down a system the patrolling security program had fixed. If she stopped then, the whole thing would go on red alert and then they'd have the whole Coruscant police force on them. She barely registered as Itani rushed off to get the ship, she was so engrossed in what she was doing. She heard everyone's orders over the comm, and was waiting to hear when Itani had the ship ready. What she heard instead was that the guys in blue were on their way.
Finally consenting to let Italia take over, she thrust the datapad into the other woman's hand and grabbed her bag. Standing up, she looked around and tried to decide which direction to go in. She knew that if the police were smart, they'd split up and send some men to the front, and the rest to the back. Potentially, this meant Bane and the rest could be outflanked and trapped. But if she could distract the ones heading to the front of the museum, the rest could handle the ones going to the back without worrying about being pinned down.
Confirming her decision, Trin sprinted across the roof until she reached the front of the museum. Stopping to catch her breath, she looked out and down over the entrance, waiting to see if her assumptions had been correct. They were. A detail of police cruisers were coming toward the museum. As she had predicted, half branched off to circle around to the rear while the rest formed up out front. There weren't many. They didn't know the seriousness of the situation they were getting into. Trin counted seven officers below, and suspected about the same number going around to the back. Touching her hand to her ear, Trin spoke over the comm.
Heads up people. Bane, you got some police coming around the back. I count seven here at the front. I'm going to get them off your tail and meet up when I'm clear. Trin didn't wait for the go-ahead. Instead, she fitted her grappling hook into one of her blasters and stood up. Shooting it directly into the ledge at her feet, the hook sank deep for a secure hold. With a deep breath, Trin hopped over the ledge, letting gravity pull her down along the face of the building. She landed on a second ledge several stories below where she had been. The ledge was only a few feet wide, but Trin ran across it with no fear. Securing her second and last grappling hook, Trin shot it again, and swung out in an arc as she descended. The sound caught the attention of the officers who had been grouping together, preparing to enter the building.
As they scrambled to unholster their blasters and get their sites on her, Trin had pulled a grenade from her pack. Pulling the pin out with her teeth, She let if fly as she came to the mid point of her arc through the air. The grenade landed and rolled under one of the cruisers, which moments later was noting but splintered metal and flames. The distraction was enough to allow Trin to finish her descent. Unfortunately, the line wasn't quite long enough, and Trin had to disengage from it a good distance above the ground. She landed and rolled to avoid heavy damage, but without her armor, Trin suffered a number of large scrapes and no doubt an equal number of bruises that would haunt her later. Ducking behind a wall, Trin spoke again.
Ok, I think I've got their attention, but we'll probably have more on us soon. Don't mess around. And Italia, you might as well pull out now, they know we're here. Get out of there.
She couldn't waste another breath, she could hear footsteps approaching rapidly. With blaster in one hand and spring loaded blades on her hidden gauntlets, she waited until the footsteps were right behind her. Muscles that had been tensed and coiled suddenly let fly as trin rolled out from behind the wall. The officer unfortunate enough to be closest to her got a blade right through the chest, while the one directly behind him got two blaster shots, knocking him down. But there were more on the way. Her grenade had only taken out one of them, she still had four on her. Trin dashed across the courtyard plaza, using the small trees in planters as cover, meager as it was. She had only thought out her diversion to this point, and wasn't exactly sure what she was going to do next. She could throw more grenades, but she didn't want to risk drawing more attention than necessary. If she could keep it to just these four, she had a chance.
She stuck her head out around the potter she was crouched behind and saw one of the officers running towards the one cruiser she hadn't destroyed. If he reached it, he could call in back-up, and then she really would be up a certain creek without a paddle. Again she sprang forward. Her muscles cried their complaint, but she wouldn't be able to address their concerns for some time yet. The officer saw her coming, and rounded on her with a large blaster rifle. Trin skidded to a stop, narrowly dodging his shot, and let a few fly from her own blaster. She caught the man in the arm, causing him to drop his weapon. Within moments, she was on the man, and had him unconscious on the ground. But now the remaining three had their blasters out and ready and were firing.
Trin ducked behind the cruiser for cover, her mind racing in a panic as she tried to figure out what to do. Suddenly, the thought came to her. Trin rolled out to the side of the cruiser, blindly shooting in the direction of the three officers to cover her movement. She opened the cruiser door and sat down in the driver's seat. Starting it up, the engines roared. The sound alerted the officers to her intent, and their fire doubled as they tried to stop her. One shot managed to shatter the glass of the window on the passenger side and clip Trin's arm as she turned the cruiser to leave. Trin let out a whelp of pain, but gritted her teeth and slammed on the accelerator. The cruiser lifted up into the air and sped away, leaving the remaining three officers stranded.
She struggled to keep focused as she haphazardly navigated the cruiser to the landing platform where she hoped Itani was still warming up the ship. There were several near misses and a number of fender-benders, but Trin finally brought the cruiser down next to the ship. She stumbled out of the cruiser as quick as she could, hoping that Itani would see her before he turned any auto turrets on her and blew her to smithereens. Her legs were wobbling as she ascended the ramp, but she wouldn't allow them to give out, not yet. She finally collapsed to her knees as she reached the cockpit, clutching at the wound on her arm.
Go, hurry. She said, leaning against the copilot chair and pointing with her chin, urging Itani to get back and pick everyone up. After a moment, she propped herself up against a wall and examined her arm. It was nothing serious, though she needed to stop the bleeding. She ripped the sleeve off at the shoulder and used her good arm and her teeth to tie the sleeve around her arm just above the wound. then she tore off part of her pant leg and tied it around the wound itself. When she was done, she leaned her head back against the wall. She had a feeling Bane would rip her a new one for what she had just done. But she didn't have the energy to worry about that right now.

Bane had that ugly feeling crawling in his stomach, and as soon as his comm clicked on, he knew why. Itani had just informed them that the police was on their way.
Godamnit! I knew this was too easy he thought scolding himself.
Bane assumed Itani would be heading back to the ship, since Italia was staying back for a few minutes to deal with the system. He arrived at the service entrance with the rest, yet Trin was not in sight. Bane got his answer as Trin comm'd in and informed him about the police.
Godamnit!everyone is trying to be a hero
Bane didn't yell at her though, partly because it could mess with her concentration, but mostly because he would have done the same thing himself. He didn't like where things were going, and he knew they were going to get worse. He had a more immediate problem; the police would probably be waiting right outside the entrance. He turned to his team, his face grim but determined.
"This Siths hit the fan people, its about to get real ugly. Alright this is the plan, so everyone listen up. We have police waiting right outside the entrance, and we need to deal with them first. Mal and myself are going to hit them hard and fast, nothing fancy. Arcane I want you to wait a few moments and the get in the transport, and get it started up. Ark you get yourself and the basilisk in the Transport, no fooling around.
I don't want any complaints or BS, stick to the plan and we might get out of this alive. There are enough dead hero's out there, don't be so eager."
Bane then keyed his comm "Italia, get down here now, there is no need for you to be there anymore"
Bane made his way over to the service exit, he put his back to the wall left to the door. He grabbed a flashbang from his belt, and figured that Mal would pick up on the idea. He nodded to Mal, and as the door slide open, he tossed the flashbang out. He waited for a count of three, saw a mild flash, and heard muted cries. His calves tensed, as his muscles compressed and then he sprung forward through the door. He saw the first officer was only a few feet from the door, still rubbing his eyes from the pain. Bane grabbed the Katana on his back with his right hand, drawing the blade and bisecting the officer in one fluid motion. He used the momentum of his swing, to spin, and let go of his blade sending it flying into the next officer five feet away. By this time the third officer had his blaster pointed at Bane. Bane dived forward, and rolled as he came up to his knees drew his pistol from his thigh holster. He fired three shots into the officers chest.
"Clear!" He shouted, assuming Mal had taken out the rest of the officers.Italia was still not back yet, his logic told him to leave the girl, but he was also a man of honor.
"Ambria get ready to move out, Mal with me" He quickly ordered.
Bane then ran back inside, making his way to where Italia was, he was going to put her through the ringer after this was all over. After a minute of sprinting he reached the security station. He was about to chew Italia out, when he looked at the monitors, and his eyes widen every so slightly.
"Arcane! Go now! get to the Ghost Star, no arguments just leave now..That is an order!" He shouted into his comm almost frantically but maintaining most of his demeanor.
Bane looked up at the monitor showing a live holonet broadcast, with a female reporting rambling on about something he couldn't hear. The monitors showed a massive police force, coming straight towards the museum, and they were only a minute out. They weren't just coming in force, they were bringing something....something big.
Bane clicked his comm on "Itani, you are to under no circumstances, come anywhere near the museum...is that clear? Ambria and Ark are on their way with the basilisk, load it up as soon as they are there. I repeat do NOT come back to the museum! Bane out"
Bane then turned to Italia and Mal, this time his face was grim and haggard, but still a ghost of determination remained.
"If we are lucky the transport got away before the police saw it. I can't afford to take that chance though, so we are going to have to slow them down to make sure they don't catch up with the transport.
Italia I am sorry that you got dragged into this, but I am grateful you came along. I must be getting older than I thought, I am starting to get sentimental.
Alright Mal, gather the ammunition that we have and meet us at the front of the museum. It has the best vantage points, and hopefully we can hold them off for a good deal, at least until the others can get off-planet."
Bane looked at the monitor one last time, they were only moments from arriving at the museum. He just shook his head, at the large image on the screen
Where was Ark when you needed him?

Malak's stomach dropped to his knees when he heard the news about the authorities heading towards the museum. They had to work fast. If the police figured out what is going on in the museum before the basilisk was away all of their efforts would be lost. He picked up the pace, going almost too fast for the others to follow... they could not afford to tarry any longer. Then he heard Trin say that the cops had already arrived over the comm unit. Funny... when there was a burglary in progress the cops were slow to respond... but the minute that a few people break into a building that held relics that few cared about they were on the scene faster than a fat kid after an ice-cream truck.
Bane's orders stopped the Mal dead in his tracks. Without a moments hesitation he spun on his heel and began to follow the Colonel to the service exit, he stacked up against the door before Bane even had a chance to pull off out his flash-bang. A second one was not needed... it would honestly be overkill, so Mal nodded and waited for the flash. He counted down in his head. “Three...” These men really had no clue who they were dealing with, they would have to send an army to take down his fellow Mandalorians. “... Two...” He let a smirk purse his massive lips, it was finally happening... the Mando'ade were finally coming back, and they would have their vengeance. It would be swift and sure. “... One...” All political and ego centric thoughts were thrown out of the window... he envisioned what he would do in his head, it took about half a second to get a moderately flexible game plan cooked up. Then it happened.
The flash. A loud BANG! quickly retorted.
Mal rounded the corner and saw an officer writhing around like an upright serpent trying to escape from a trap as he covered his ears and yelled in pain. He instantly brought up his rifle and fired a single slug into the officer's head, turning it into a gory canoe. Then he caught sight of a second man, this one was beginning to recover from the stun-grenade. The behemoth brought his massive rifle to bear on the man as he pressed the trigger back, sending a volley of massive slugs into the second officer, he crumpled to the ground. The second man barely hit the ground before he caught sight of the third aiming in on Bane. Mal would have none of that. He swiftly took out a knife, a short sword for a free-birth, and threw it at the officer. While the “knife”didn't hit its mark, the man's head, it cleaved a whole in the man's jugular as it passed. He died lickety-split. By this time the fourth man, who was apparently more courageous then his comrades, charged at Mal with a sickeningly long knife in his hand. Why a police officer had a knife, Mal had no clue... but he had one alright.
Unfortunately for the angry man, the titan of a man had more than a few feet of reach on the man, and as he drew close enough Mal simply grabbed a hold of his wrist and twisted until he heard a sickening snap. The officer's face contorted to a look of anger, fear, and complete pain as he was stopped cold. Without a word he picked the man up by his neck, lifting his feet well off the ground, and simply squeezed. But choking someone to death was far too slow... and agonizing... so Mal suddenly jerked the man's neck sharply to the left. A gut-wrenching crack! was heard as the man's neck snapped. He nonchalantly tossed the now cooling carrion as he turned to Bane and let him know that the area was in fact, clear.
“Clear!”
He nodded at Bane, and followed him back to where Italia was located. Mal was about to say something to Bane when he saw the man's eyes grow wide... he traced the Colonel's gaze back to some monitors. Mal's jaw went agape slightly, the grip on his rifle relaxed, and he tried to utter something... but nothing came out. They had, as a matter-of-fact, sent an army of police officers after them.
It took Mal a few seconds to realize just how grievous their situation was. There was no escape from this. They would die giving the Basilisk...the Ghost Star... their allies... enough time to get the hell-outta-dodge and back to Mandalore, or wherever they were going. He nodded. If dieing for one's nation... dieing for one's friends wasn't a good way to leave this 'verse, then he did not know what was. While he honestly barely knew these people... he still considered them friends. As he did with anyone who was willing to fight, bleed, kill, and die at his side. Mal solemnly nodded at Bane's orders... he had the equipment bags hung on his shoulders the entire time... not the best way to do it... they where there when needed. He looked at the two, Bane first...
“Its been an honor.”
Then he turned to Lia, he honestly did not know what to say. He simply put a mammoth hand on her shoulder. He wanted to say something worthwhile... something inspiring.... ANYTHING. But he did not. He instead withdrew his hand and glanced back up at the screen. He said something in his native tongue before turning around and heading towards the front of the building.
Once there he dropped the duffel bags in various strategic locations... he set them up so that they could easily fall back when they got overrun. After he was done he walked to the front of the building and closed his eyes, he stood in the center of the rotunda, just taking in the moment. It was one of the few serene moments that the man experienced in his life. It was right then and there that he resigned his fate. He would go down fighting... for Mandalore... no... not his nation or a leader he has never seen, nor for his own personal honor.
He would go down fighting for his friends... so that they might live to see the dawn.

Hearing her commander speaking to thema as they traveled through the museum, Ambria stopped in her tracks and turned around to him, trying to look at through the throng of metal that was Ark and the basilisk. She had also just heard Itani's message about the police force's imminent arrival. Bad news. It would have been a whole lot easier to deal with another dozen museum guards. The police were a whole lot better armed and had much better training than simple guards.
However, so did they as Mandalorians. There wasn't much out there that could defeat a squad of Mandos, even a small squad of them. Ambria smiled to herself, thinking about it and feeling a rush of pride for her heritage. But she didn't allow the thoughts to last too long. If she dwelt on them, she would just get distracted and, worse, start remembering painful memories that she had no place thinking about right now.
If the force was already at the main entrance, it wouldn't be long before they decided to check out the service entrance--their only escape. She hurried along with the others as they got moving again, thinking about her place in the new plans. It had been quite a while since she had ever driven something and then it was usually just a speeder that she used to transport wounded or check around the battlefield for injured soldiers in her group. And the transport they had arrived in was a lot bigger and bulkier. This would be interesting.
Not only that, but she had to make sure that Ark and tbe basilisk got on board safely. Ambria assumed that the hulking cyborg would be able to do such on his own, but after that, well, she just hoped there were lots of straps in the hold because it would be most likely a bumpy ride. With her dusty piloting skills mixed in with evading the police force, the two mechanical beings were in for the time of their long lives. Yes, this would be very interesting, indeed.
Arriving at the service entrance, she hung back as Bane and Mal made short work of the officers who had already arrived. More bad luck on their part. Ambria had had a feeling that this or something like it would happen. The mission had gone too easy so far. There was bound to be something fouling up their plans. Getting herself in a ready position, she bent her knees and holstered one of her blasters. It was easier to run with just one in her hand. But she didn't want to put both away; she might need to cover herself.
Ambria didn't even think, just reacted when Bane gave the order for her to run for the transport. Luckily during the melee with Bane and Mal, Ark had gotten himself and the basilisk already loaded up. She ran up the ramp and slapped the controls to shut it down before rushing aft to check out the cargo area. Everything seemed secure back there, but she felt the need to say, "Hang out. It might get rough, boys," before she headed back up towards the cockpit.
Strapping on her crash webbing, she quickly ran her eyes over the control panel. It seemed fairly straightforward and she started the warm-up process. This small moment of peace gave her some time to check out her left leg. Ambria wasn't used to running so hard and fast on the prosthetic. It didn't hurt, obviously, but she would have to check later if it had sustained any damage. She really hoped it hadn't, as she had an idea this day was just beginning.
The engines roared to life smoothly and she engaged the repulsors, slowing taking the ship upwards. With a final cursory glance at the museum, at Mal and Bane, she turned the nose of the transport towards the spaceport where the Star] was parked. Ambria was glad that all her piloting lessons were coming back to her, and these was going smoother than she had thought. She merged into traffic easily, keeping an eye on her sensors to make sure no police speeders were coming after her. Hopefully, Bane and Mal were applying an ample distraction.
But then she heard Bane's words over the comm. Not come back for them? It was not the Mando way to leave someone behind! Ambria ground her teeth as she navigated closer to the landing pad. It was also not the military way nor the Mando way to disregard a superior officer's orders. Generally. Though she had just met all these people, she had deep feelings for the entire squad. She didn't need to know their darkest deepest thoughts and secrets in order to sacrifice her life for them.
Which, her thoughts surmised, was exactly what Bane and Mal were doing right now. Ambria sighed. She wouldn't let herself spend a tear but said a silent prayer to whichever Mandalorian gods were listening. They would need it. She vaguely wondered if Ark had had his comm tuned to the squad frequency as well and had heard Bane's message. Obviously the two had a closer relationship then the rest of the squad did with their leader. What were his thoughts?
Belatedly, she wished she had fired on some of the police speeders to draw their fire away or at least lead a few of them away from the museum. But it was too late; she was almost at the spaceport and the Star. Plus, though she was a fair pilot, Ambria wasn't so sure on her skills with whatever weaponry this transport had. No, she would just have to do her job and follow her orders like any good soldier. Unless another option presented itself.
