The Knight found what he needed. The out process was next. Placing his glove back on he moved from within the archives. His destination was set, he would trace his former Master from the beginning of her dark 'pilgrimage' trying to discover the point of where she fell.
" Attachment... " He whispered, wondering if he was truly doing something he should. Though he figured this was minor. Minor enough it still plagued him, however. Be watchful of this path... he mimicked another familiar voice in his mind. One that was always solid reason, a true bastion of the Jedi Code and what he envisioned a real Jedi was like.
Turning from the Archives he left them. Headed back to his ship. Taking nothing with him aside from the images his Kiffar's gift had granted. As he moved his fists clenched and unclenched in anticipation. Not bothering to pay much mind to those around him.

Zul Ckar entered the Jedi archive, and admired the view of the archive. Zul entered the archives to learned a more powerful form of fighting with a lightsaber, because his last fight almost killed him, and it made him rely on the force to keep him fighting too much. Zul occupied a chair and accessed a computer to look up the lightsaber forms.
Form 1:Shii-Cho was first to come up, but Zul already fought in this, and decided it was too basic to effectively put up a fight.
Form 2: Makashi came up, after reading about it for a minute Zul did not like it because it was to precise and elegant for him.
Form 3: Soresu was discovered, It seemed to fit Zul problem when fighting against a large number of enemies with blasters, but it seemed like it would never give Zul an attempt to counter attack effectively against an opponent.
Form 4: Ataru was brought up, It seemed really useful but relied on spinning and was weak against more than one opponent.
Form 5: Shien/ Djem So appeared, It looked very promising, but it focused too much on pure strength and lacked mobility in combat.
Form 6: Niman came, It was balanced in everything but did not excel in anything.
Form 7: Juyo/ Vaapad showed itself, after reading it, it was interesting on how it confused the opponent, and did not even seemed linked together, but it was undeveloped and would leave Zul too close to the dark side.
After reading every form Zul decided to fuse Form 3, 4, and 5 into his battle style. Zul would use Soresu to defend against attacks, then use Djem So to attack and overwhelm an opponent, and to use Ataru acrobatics attacks to confuse opponents. After figuring this out Zul left contend with what he found and would now use this style of fighting for the rest of his life.

Jedi Guardian War, entered the Archives, seeking information on the seven forms of a Jedi's lightsaber. Though the true reason of his person's time here, was that of development. War was here to instigate the creation of a new lightsaber form, a powerful one at that. One which could force the opponent wielding a saber, or any weapon for that matter, into kneeling before War. War wanted power, true strength.
War began his survey of his surroundings, for several reasons. To see the way they carried themselves, and in doing so, finding if they would help him. Two, to find a Padawan, a moderately aged male, with a solid temper and forceful use of lightsaber mastery.
War continued his survey, finding a comfortable seat and computer to begin his research. First off, Soresu...

Here he was again. Adrian, now fully rested, was on the prowl for something he could do for the Order. He didn't just want to sit down and wait for what he felt was coming to happen. He knew he wasn't strong enough to confront whatever was in Subterrel on his own yet. He would need the learnings of someone superior to him...but that was where the problem was. The young Knight didn't jump at the idea of training at the side of a single minded Council Member, but he still didn't want to train under just anyone.
The Archives usually served as a good place to think even if there was the occasional intrusion of Master Baumm. During his time in the giant library Adrian had decided to help in small things right now. He planned on submitting himself to the will of the Republic for a time in order to assist them and fine tune his own skills whether at combat, wielding the force, or just diplomacy. With his thoughts sorted out the young Knight stood and left the Archives.

After his short visit to the courtyard Paine decided he need to brush on his knowledge of the outer rim worlds. As he walked into the room he noticed a sense of worry in the room. He also noticed that there was a Jedi knight he hadn't seen in a very long time.
"War how nice to see you." Paine said his voice low and pleasant. "Is something troubling you?"

The experienced Jedi Knight turned the man that was just now addressing him. War pondered to why the boy thought something was of trouble to him. He then felt beads of sweat that had exited his skin long ago, and finally cleared himself of the ignorance that shourded his troubled face. War placed his hand upon his sleeve, grabbing it, and wiping his face with it, as to detach the liquidy facial invaders. "Oh, hello." He was puzzled to why a person, one which he did not remember, confront him so.
War quickly swivled the chair to face the figure, his face wiped clean of sweat, but his face still seemed strange. "Just attempting to create another style for the order." He smiled as he turned back to his computer, continuining his research on the Soresu form. He then continued his speech, he giggled slightly, "But i'm stuck on making the foundation, which is to be the Soresu form. I'm trying to figure a way to make it more... offensive." He then realised he did not ask the figure's name. "Pardon me, but who are you?"

"I am Jedi Knight Paine." He said his voice filled with calm. Paine looked the man up and down and realized War had never met him face to face. Paine had only read about his Jedi Career in a holo report.
"Do you need any help with the work you're doing or are you fine."

War turned back to the volumes of knowledge that laid infront of him. Patience, even with a Jedi's training, was not one of War's strong points. He turned the Jedi Knight and answered him. "Yea... I don't know enough about the Soresu."

"The third form of lightsaber combat if I'm not mistaken" Paine said matter-of-fact.
"It is the most defensive style of the 6 forms, and it is the most effective against enemies with blasters" Paine continued.

Category: The Jedi Subcategory: Temples Topic: Jedi High Temple Subtopic: The Jedi Archives Article: Jedi Archives Security Systems
ARTICLE NOT ACCESSIBLE AT THIS TIME A pair of blue fists slammed down onto the desk and quickly began a new search on the topic, the large, stubby fingers clicking desperately, looking for something they had perhaps overlooked before. Nothing. All documents referring to the Archives themselves were no longer accessible without approval by the council. Without that information, the only way out of the Archives was through one of the secure exits. Master Meenu Baumm was not suposed to use those exits. And suddenly the walls of datacards gre a little darker. Baumm stood and took a deep breath, shutting his eyes. It was currently very late in the day, so much that it was very unlikely that anybody would need to use the Archives until the next day. Baumm turned and looked up to where his quarters sat. Strange, thought the Ortolan, that he had not left this room but for a few occasions over the last eighteen years, and yet now he wanted nothing more than to leave. Imprisonment will do that to a person. Meenu began wandering through the empty halls, glancing distractedly at various datacards. Ossan, Ossan Lizard, Osseriton, Ossik, and finally Ossus. Suddenly, Baumm took closer notice. He blinked a few times over the old datacard and tried to regain his focus. He could not. Images long since repressed from his memory appeared in his mind, and no amount of deep-breathing seemed to be able to stop them. A small transport landed on a shattered section of an old landing pad. Dust flared up as the manual landing gear took hold of the inactive magna-holds. A small group of people filed out. A senator, four soldiers, and a pair of Jedi. They said nothing as the group began a long march through the wasteland towards a massive monolith in the distance.
Once they had arrived at the giant building, they noticed that a rather large section had collapsed in upon itself, and now the way was impassable. A pair of the soldiers opened the way with frag mines. The group continued.
They entered into a large central chamber of some sort, one which must have held many different things at some point, but now no longer did. Only a few things remained, scattered amongst the rooms that could still be entered. A large sign was posted overhead of one of the open passages.
Pre-Hyperdrive
Seeing this, one of the two jedi turned and walked into the doorway, making his way down the winding passages. Three rights, two lefts, and another right. There, the Jedi opened a door and entered within. In the center of the room lay what looked like an old star map, a sphere positioned on a lighting post. But the sphere was Blue and shimmering, as if made from some form of energy rather than material.
The Jedi approached and extended a stubby, blue hand out to make contact....Suddenly, it was over, and all that remained was an old Jedi an the halls of knowledge he was trapped within. He panted, and only a single thought permeated his mind. But I've never been to Ossus...

Araon An'mar strode softly through the Archives. His cloak made only the softest of swishing sounds as its edges occasionally brushed against the floor. His gate was swift, yet silent. He had seen much through Aay'han the Crystal. He could sense her satisfaction at bringing him knowledge. Though he wasn't entirely sure he should have so much. Many Jedi Knights have fallen at the onslaught of too much knowledge. More than he could count. The Jedi Revan, and Malak. Ancient history. Yet the history echoed true.
Yet Araon wondered if it wasn't necessary for the galaxy to renew itself. History seemed a dooming cycle of destruction and rebirth.
Aay'han are you sure the vision you showed me was accurate. I mean I know I saw the attack on Dantooine, and I knew the report filed by the Republic officials wasn't worth the flimsy it was written on, but-
But what Araon. Her voice echoed in his head like chimes in the wind. Without you I could not see, yet things are clear to us both now.
Yes. Araon thought. He had seen too much. It all was happenning around them. The dark image Aay'han had allowed him to see frightenned him. Something Araon hated to admit. A dark figure, in a mask. A Red lightsaber and a bit of torn cloak. The thing it held in its hands though frightenned him most of all. Not a Jedi Tome. Nor a holocron. But a Sith Tome.
The Archives were practically empty. Yet the force gave him insight on where Master Baum was standing. Ossan, Ossan Lizard, Osseriton, Ossik, Ossus.
Araon looked at the Ortolan a long moment. The soft blue light of the archives adding the sentients natural skin color. It reflected in his dark eyes. He looked oddly peaceful. Comforting actually to find one who had been reprimanded so harshly by the council in such a state. At least that was how he appearred.
Araon let his empathic feelings as well as the force focus on the Ortolan. Within the calm exterior Araon felt frustration, and desperation. His eyes narrowed slightly. No doubt Master Baum had sensed him.
With a much slower gate he slowly walked up beside his somewhat shorter elder and whispered a greeting.
"Good to finally meet you, Master Baum."

Master Baumm blinked his small black eyes over and over again, trying to get the picture of Ossus back. Nothing came to him. Strangely, though, he could not get the idea out of his head. Something happened on Ossus, and he had to find out. The Force had willed him to see that. Yet, the Force had also willed that he be imprisoned parsecs away within these Archives. Needless to say, it didn't take a Jedi to tell that the Ortolan was frustrated.
The "Archivist" turned around and faced the Jedi who had come to find him. He paused a moment before regaining composure and replying, in the same tone as always.
"Hello. What knowledge do you seek?"
He said in the subsection of the Archives, but in his mind and in his heart, he was already far away from this place. Absently, he pulled a short stack of datacards from the shelf and began reorganizing them. In truth, they were in perfect order, as was the rest of the Archives, but Master Baumm had decided that it would be best if his frustration could be attributed to his busy work.

Araon pondered the question Master Baum had posed. Disgression seemed a wise tactic.
"Master Baum, there are many questions I have, and much knowledge I seek. However, I believe it is your council I seek the most. Is there somewhere private we may speak?" Araon asked, softly in his barritone voice. Araon let his thoughts be apparent to the Jedi if he happenned to be sensing him.
A need for truth.

After placing the datacards into the exact same order he had found them in, Master Baumm replaced them on the wall and began walking calmy down the passageway, speaking in a rather dull tone as he went.
"If you seek the knowledge of the Archives, you may feel free to ask of me here. I can assure you, we are quite alone here..."
He said, turning and facing the Knight. The Ortolan made and held eye-contact, nodding as he upheld the mental connection established by Araon.
There is no truth here. Only facts. I can help with what I can, but I can do little until I am free of this place.
And, with that, he continued his trot down through the Archives, pausing at random intervals to check datacards which might have been misplaced in his abscene. One never could trust an interim Archivist to keep a tidy shop, could one?
"If you are seeking historical information, our archive of documents and histories is located upstairs. Down here we only have current information, except for a small section in the left wing dedicated to political theory..."

Araon watched as the Ortolan placed the data cards into their appropriate slots and walked with him down the passage.
There is no truth here. Only facts. I can help with what I can, but I can do little until I am free of this place.
He heard clearly in his head.
Araon considered the Masters diversionary tactics to mean that indeed they were alone, yet the walls in the temple had ears. Ones neither of them wanted listenning to them. Perhaps he could hit two birds with one stone this visit.
"I seek knowledge on inorganic life, similar to the Mynock. Mineral based." He said as he watched the Archivist place more Datacards in their appropriate locations.
I wish the truth about what happenned on Dantooine, and if I can help. I recieved a vision of its occupation. There is much fear and suffering there.
Araon watched the Masters slow movements as his stubby fingers went about their work. His obvious hesitation would send the wrong message.
I have seen much Master Baum. Yet the council will not see. How can I arrange your early release? Araon did not attempt to hide his worry from Master Baum. Many thoughts moved through his head now, though he understood why he had to help Him.
Expulsion from the order. The Sith. No help. No hope. Just us.
The messiness of his thoughts probably seemed dirty to a Jedi Master.

"Mineral-based, you said? That'll be under Inorganics, subsection M."
He said, making his way down the corridor to subsection M, although he took a much longer route than necessary.
There is little you can do. The answers you seek are the reason I am here. It is not the will of the Council, though they do not feel the need to fight in my favor. This was ordered by a Senator, no doubt. If you are to help, you must go there.
As they neared the subsection, the aging Jedi turned around and muttered.
"Or did I organize those under Silicons, subsection S?"
And so, even though the datacards were indeed underf subsection M, the two now headed down towards subsection S, coming dangerously close to the section relating current informations on Galactic Senators.

Araon had walked the corridors of the Archives many times over in his studies. Yet never before had they felt so forboading. So Dangerous. His mind seemed to struggle with the idea that the tranquility of the universe was more fragile than it seemed, and even the Jedi could not protect the galaxy in their limitted numbers. He shook the feeling from his shoulders and continued to follow closely behind Master Baum.
Araon felt slightly unsettled by the fact that Aay'han had not once contacted him throughout their walk. He gently felt for the Crystals presence within his lightsaber. She seemed somewhat reserved, yet he felt her presence.
His mind shifted gears back to the problem at hand.
How do you want to accomplish your release? I'm not a Sentinel or a Shadow. Knights arent trained exclusively in the arts of stealth and infiltration.
Araon looked at the Archive shelves containing the S Data Cards as they drew near. His eyes rested momentarily on the one labelled "Sith" and then darted back to Master Baum's back.

The two stopped in front of the section where "Siliconics" should have been located, and paused there for a moment.
Has it really come down to the time when we must fear our own government? Some one gave the order. Find them, speak to the senators. They all are here on Coruscant for the next few days. I am not asking for anything... but that is the only way that I can help you.
Searching through datacards, he shrugged and began leading the Knight back to the M section.

Araon walked with Master Baum to the M's and retrieved a Mineral Based lifeform datadisc. With a low bow Araon slipped it into one of his belt pockets.
"Thank you Master Baum, for all your help." he said as his head lifted. For the briefest of moments he peared into the dark eyes of the Ortolan.
Dont get too comfortable Master Baum. I will return as soon as I can.

With a slow ambling stride, Jedi Knight Yenrug Kin makes his way into the Jedi Archives.
This part of the temple had always impressed Yenrug; from his first visit as a Youngling to all the concurrents visits he had made as a Padawan, and now a Knight. He had come here to seek both the advice and assistance for Master Meenu Baumm.
Recently Yenrug had been feeling ripples in the Force. Very slight, but nonetheless recognisable. He had felt such energies many times throughout his life, they were the familiar sensations associated with lost Jedi and Yenrug's former master, Kipper Lennox.
It was for this reason that he had came to speak to Master Baumm. Baumm's wisdom was renowned to those who knew of him, Yenrug hoped the archivist would advise him on a course of action, as well as provide him with some information regarding Dark Jedi activity on the planet of Onderon.
Kin slowly strolled around, studying the many busts of past Jedi, both the great and the fallen. This was truly an astonishing place, steeped in history.
Eventually coming to a bench, Knight Kin took a seat and breathed in the atmosphere; closing his eyes and stretching out with the Force, he could feel the will of Jedi students, studying furiously for tests and to impress their masters, he could feel his Jedi peers deep in thought, studying matters of great importance; but most striking of all, he could still feel the faint ripples of will he felt during his training with Kipper Lennox.
"I hope Master Baumm can assist me on this matter..." he mused to himself, waiting for the archivist until he was free to speak to him.
