Ordik Sarrim walked before the entrance of the Archives. He had not been in here since a few days befpre the death of his master. The Jedi Knight had been in the Outer Rim for three years working to help the poor families and colonies build and economy. The Jdi took a deep breath and gathered his robes, the black robes wrinkled a bit as he walked, the soles of his boots made a click-clack against the durasteel floor. He walked to the door and it slid open, the hydralics wheezing. The Twi'Lek Jedi Knight walked in, his dark eyes scanning the area, there were many students studying as he did with his master. They were all so young, so pure. Their minds were working hard, a few had dozed off but none the less, they were working.
The Twi'Lek walked softly over to a bench where a young Ithorian man was sitting waiting. He walked over and bowed.
"May I sit?" he asked, leaning against a wall.

"Of course, brother Jedi, you may sit." Yenrug answered, opening his eyes to see a dark robed and imposing Twi'Lek Jedi before him.
"I am Yenrug Kin; I'm waiting for Master Baumm. I don't believe we've met before, were you on a long term off-world mission?"
The Ithorian turned his head slightly, looking at the Twi'Lek while continuing to stretch out with the Force.

"Indeed, I have been in the Outer Rim for three years helping the economies of the colonies and worlds that were turned upside down by civil wars and such. I spent most of it policing the planets making sure that they would grow with out presence ofthe Exchange or Hutts. I spent a few months being tracked by Bounty Hunters because I had to combat a local warlord. It ended nastily, I had to dispatch of more than five Hunters. But I have been to combat before...." said Ordik. As he said the combat part his mind seemed to drift.
He came back to focus. "My apologies! Yenrug, I am Odrik Sarrim, Jedi Knight." The Jedi said chuckling and emberassed. Ordik sat down on the bench next to the Ithorian. He looked down at his belt and then to his chronometer, it was geting late. He was supposed to leave on a mission, but he needed information first. The Jedi was supposed to go to Kashyyk and help out one of the chieftans. He needed info on the flaura and fauna of Kashyyk so he knew what to expect, the Jedi had been everywhere just about except Kashyyk.

Yenrug looked at Odrik checking his chronometer and thought to himself, "This Jedi seems to be in a rush, his need is perhaps greater than mine."
"There is no need for apology, Ordrik Sarrim!" Yenrug replied enthusiastically, "You seem to be in some sort of hurry, my Jedi brother. You may take my place in awaiting Master Baumm's guidance."
Yenrug stood up, refocusing his physical senses after spending so much time immersed in the Force. He adjusted his beige and brown robes and placed a hand on the hilt of his lightsaber, "Brother Sarrim, it was a pleasure meeting you. I must request an audience with the Council anyway, so do not feel you are usurping my place in line. I feel it is my time to take a Padawan learner, I am hoping the Council will have a willing student in mind. Take care and may the Force be with you." Bowing slightly, Yenrug turned away and strode from the Archives.
"Master Lennox would rather I continue my Jedi career than dwell on the past needlessly." He assured himself as he left the archives.

Niv-taro entered the Archives briskly, wanting to return the data-card before retiring to his chambers. Removing the data-card from his reader, he flipped the small disk over in his hands before returning the reader into his pants pocket.
As Niv made his way down the archives, he glanced around casually for Master Baumm. With each step a hallow echo could be heard vibrating up and down the archive walls, making the already large area seem much more daunting. Niv-taro sighed as he listened to those echoes; each step a reminder of all the time he had spent within these halls.

Pacing quickly through the corridors of the temple, Vreem entered the nearly deserted Archives in search of his prey. Like a predator in the shadow of its victim, he stalked the Knight. Or, at least, he hoped he was.
After heading off to meet with the Jedi Healer, Vreem had realised that he had never mentioned the Knight he was to assign the mission to. That made this hunt so much more amusing, well, from an onlooker's point of view. Sadly for Vreem he was forced to move from random Jedi to random Jedi, querying a name like a concerned father looking for his child. One would have thought that finding a Jedi Healer would be an easy task, for they were a rare breed and commonly known by a lot of Jedi. It seemed, however, that Niv-taro Ghesdune was not known as well as most.
Sighing at another shaking head, the down-on-his-luck Master finally stumbled upon a nodding head, one which he wished to praise for the rest of his day. However, he wouldn't have the time as the clumsy looking Padawan pointed him over in the direction of a tall, pale skinned and dark haired Jedi who was currently looking for someone, most likely someone to direct him.
After thanking the young Padawan, Vreem moved over to who he supposed was Niv-taro and bowed slight. "Niv-taro, may I presume?" He asked steadily, hoping that he had in fact found his target.

Facing the man, Niv-taro bowed slightly. "Indeed."
He recognized the man standing in front of him, but then again any Jedi worth their ilk would have as well. Curious as to why Vreem Took, member of the Jedi Council, would be looking for him, Niv made no hesitation in addressing him.
"And what may I do for you?"

Slightly relieved that he had found the man he'd spent the better part of an hour looking for, Vreem could finally move onto the important reason he'd been on the Jedi chase. He moved over to one of the nearby desks where he proceeded to sit down and gestured for the Knight to do the same. Assuming they were both sitting comfortably, Vreem spoke again, this time with more of the usual authority and command his voice held. "This may be a bit sudden, but you are required for a dangerous mission." Taking out the datacard he had in his robes he passed it over to the Knight.
"All the information you need is on that card. But I'll briefly run over the situation. Devaron, located in the Colonies, is on the verge of a civil war, the males are beginning to demand for their rights to be part of the government. However, violence has broken out and there are a large number of casualties on both sides, that is why you will be needed, to help relieve the pressure there. Also, we believe that due to the timing of this incident, and thanks to a few sources, that the Sith Empire may have some involvement." He sat back a bit in his seat, the ones in the archive were far from comfortable in comparison to the ones in the training area.
"Now," he said carrying on, "as for you're companions, seeing as this could turn out to be a potentially dangerous mission, a Padwan nearing the end of her training, Meria Valli, and myself will be going with you. Although I hope my presence is merely a unnecessary protection precaution." He paused briefly before drawing to the end of his talk. "I know this must seem sudden, but we are to depart too." Leaning forward now he crossed his fingers and smiled faintly. "I suppose you have some questions to ask?"

Raising an eyebrow in contemplation, Niv-taro mulled over the Jedi's words. He had never been to Devaron, only reading about it during his studies and training; the biology of the native race always did fascinate Niv though. Such gender dimorphism was rare, and the current chromosome report on record had been studied by Niv during his healers training. To finally see such creatures would be quite the treat.
It was here that the rest of Vreems briefing set in, however. This was a rather abrupt mission posting, with a council member no less. The change of pace was welcoming though, the temple halls becoming stifling after the last month of inactivity outside of their embrace. Propping his head on an open palm, Niv questioned the Jedi.
"Shall I assume that we are not playing an active roll in the actual negotiations between the two sides?"

Vreem was managing quite well, in his opinion. For he was annoyed at the council for this sudden send-off himself, it was not only Knights and Padawan's who found the council's motives and movements aggravated, even a member of the council found it so. Due to the time he had been given to prepare for this mission, that was to say none, he was annoyed at the fact his knowledge of the mission was not as complete as he would like, and he was pretty sure it wsa apparent through the lack of a decent mission brief. However, he was glad to be able to answer the question posed to him by the Healer.
"We will be playing a strong role in the lead up to the negotiations, however the final decision will be that of the planet's natives, we will not tell them what to do. Our goal will primarily to set up this meeting, a harder task than it sounds as we to discover the source of this rebellion and who is stirring the wheel of discontent. Does that answer your question?" Vreem finished calmly.

Niv-taro grinned slightly before standing up. With his hands on the table, he spoke.
"Well then, it looks like we don't have much time. I'm sure you can fill in the gaps while we travel."
Niv flipped the datacard through his fingers and glanced at it. "looks like I will be returning this a little later." he thought to himself before placing it back into his pocket.
Checking his belt pouch, Niv confirmed that he was carrying all he would need. Not being very strong or large built, he liked to travel light and only bring the necessities. Luckily, those would be the items he always had with him just in case. Letting his hair loose, he looks back at the Jedi.
"Shall we?"

Vreem stood slowly and, with a flick of his robes, placed his arms together in one of the customary 'Master poses'. Looking at the Knight briefly, Vreem thought it best to double check his concern. "Are you sure you've got all the equipment you need,? If so, then please meet down in the hangar area. I still have a number of things to see to, but I will meet both you and Padawan Meira down there briefly for an immediate departure.
With a brief nod, Vreem headed to his quarters in order to fill his belt pouch with emergency supplies as well as to see to some last minute Council necessary things.
(OOC: For the sake of speed, we'll skip the meeting in the hangar and just go to the three of them in the ship once the rp between Vreem and Meira is finished, which shouldn't take too long. Then things can be discussed and what-not.)

Jackson walked into the Jedi Archives for the first time. He brought both hands up, to lower the hood of his cloak. An archival droid noticed his presence and gave a slight nod as it strode by.
Jackson peered throughout the Archives', it was a gigantic room. There was rows of books along the walls, and many separate tables for students to sit down and study. Various computers would be around showing pictures of galaxy and many other planets. It looked as if the room was actually split into two levels, a large set of stairs brought you up to it. The second level was just as huge and filled with interesting stuff. Holocrons were running throughout the Archives, a few students taking in much knowledge on many different facts of the galaxy.
He knew one day he would be learning to make his own light saber, so he thought that's where he would start. Jackson knew some of the basics of the blade, but there was many aspects he still needed to learn. So where to start.. he thought to himself.
Jackson started to wards the second level of the Archives in search of some information of construction a light saber, his journey just beginning...

[ Continuing from New Surroundings and New Challenges ]
In the wake of his first conversation with Master Ka, to whom he was now apprenticed, Zenn Loso had wandered the Jedi Temple for what felt like an hour or so while he decided what he wished to investigate today, as per the "assignment" given to him.
Eventually it had occurred to him that, as a Padawan, he would be required to construct his own lightsaber at some point; and though he knew the ins and outs of lightsaber maintenance, having repaired his parents' on numerous occasions, building one from scratch would be an entirely different matter.
So it was that the Zabrak, ignoring the occasional judgmental glances, had asked for directions to the Archives to set about gathering information about the process. The colossal room was abuzz with activity when he walked in and looked around; librarians milling about, Jedi of all ages and races perusing the massive shelves of holobooks, and the occasional holocron projection lecturing a group of young learners.
Awed by the scale of the chamber, Zenn wandered among the holobook shelves, searching for an unoccupied librarian who could direct him to texts regarding lightsaber construction.

Shim walked inside the Archives they where as quite as always something he enjoy very much he looked around and was able to see one or two people but nothing else as he sat down he began checking some of the old documents, he began reading carefully the details of the life of many Jedi he got more and more concentrated until an old Jedi Human approach him, he looked up slowly and waited for her to speak about any questions she may have.
"Greetings Shim, I see you are back on the Archives today seem something interesting?"
Shim smiled and nodded
"There is always something interesting in the Archives, right now I am reading on the lives of some Jedi master some Consular since that is what I am trying to become."
"oh they all had great wisdom, but I am afraid that is something you can get from books only my dear"
"what do you mean?"
"I mean all those great masters had many experiences to tell about and went trough a lot to become what they did"
"I see" Shim said as he rub his chin "what do you suggest?"
The old lady smile "Go outside and meet people you shall find a lot of knowledge and wisdom, not only look at them but talk to them"
"that will prove to be interesting indeed" Shim said as he stood up "well I should see what I can find"
The lady smile at Shim as he walk away from the archives in to the unknown.
