(sorry about that. Family problems kept me away. Also please don't godmod my troops sunfire. As stated before, Reechi has trained his troops hardcore for something like this, they wouldn't just abandon cover and run.)
Reechi looked at the holodisplays and smiled. Now this was something more along the lines of what he had been expecting. Mandalore had made the perfect move. For him.
"Have the troops on the left of the hill move forward and take the mandalorians in the flank. Have the roadway forces continue on their path right into their other flank. Have the hill defender's hold that spot at all costs. It's heavily defended and steep, and they've got the turrets covering the top, it'll be tough for the mando's to make progress, especially now that we've got them surrounded. Have our artillery put everything into their center. I want them to break apart. I want the forces that are surrounding them to give the Mandalorians everything they have. They won't be able to scale the hill while we're cutting into their flanks and rear."
He continued to watch as his orders were implemented. He had to give it to the mandos, they were courageous. No other force would allow themselves to be surrounded like that, banking everything on capturing the hill.
He turned his attention to the Karatos forces. They had destroyed the turret, but that meant nothing. The room was now almost depressurized. The Mandalorians would now be relying on their suits for air, and that wouldn't last forever. He had reinforced the walls as best as he could, and a full platoon was hunkered down outside in preparation for a break out. Even if they did break out, it would be just as good. If the explosive recompression didn't kill the Karatos forces, it would at least fling them against the far walls and disorient them. That would give his men the edge they needed to kill them all.
Reechi allowed his smile to turn into a smirk. The Mandalorians weren't expecting this sort of resistance, he supposed.

((When two troops are faced by a wave of insane Mandalorians I'd think they would either run for better cover or die where they were. Not sure how you wanted to work it. And yeah you were gone. Wth could I have done? Also, is it really godmodding if its agains NPC's?))

(If I remember the Battle of Dantooine correctly, it is against the rules to godmod the other side's NPCs. It came from when a Sith agent basically took out the entire Azjli Compound during the battle. And if I remember right Reechi's force the Mando's are currently charging are entrenched at the top of the hill, there is no better cover than that lol. But whatever, not all the troops can't be expected to be crack soldiers.)

(You are allowed to godmod NPCs, yes. But not an entire army of them. You get to god-mod individuals and small groups for small, isolated incidents. Like if your soldier shoots another soldier and kills him. Don't play a big war, guys. Play who you are. You are the main characters, and it is what YOU do, and not what the troops do, that will decide this war. What are they doing? Speaking of which...)
Nedmore Whillingsby marched through the far end of the compound with a repeating carbine in his hands. Patrol duty. He sighed. Ned had arrived a week ago from a failed OCS class and was currently under review for a retake. He probably had no chance of becoming an officer. His wife and kids back on Ord Mantell didn't know he was stationed here, and didn't want to worry them. Mandalorians were tough, sure, but not anymore. The Republic had assured him that he was in no predictable danger during this assignment, and that it would be for a few weeks only.
His patrol route went along the western perimeter, and he should have been heading closer to the storehouse where a battle he did not know about was being fought. Instead, he took a left and made his way to the HQ center, where he was to report in a few hours with his findings. He was going to visit his old friend, one who he had spoken to, once or twice, during OCS. Commander Reechi.
He flashed his badge, and the electronic eye reading it granted him passage into the structure. The alert wasn't fully up yet, and it wouldn't be unless anybody broke through. Ned made his way, three rights and a left, to the commander's quarters, hurredly as it was, with his carbine across his back. He knocked on the door.
Before events continue, it should be known that it was rather curious that Nedmore Whillingsby should be standing outside that very door with that very carbine across his back. For, in truth, Nedmore Whillingsby had been killed that morning, Republic patrolmen weren't issued carbines, and the man standing outside Commander Reechi's office bore a tatoo on his right arm which read We are men marked for Death

(Damn! Well, I guess Reechi had a good run...)
Few men understood Reechi; understood his brillient, hard mind, or the true depths of his paranoia. Soem would call paranoia and fear enemies. Reechi called them friends. It was paranoia that had had him drill his men constantly, keep them prepared at all times for any sort of attack, despite the mocking of his peers that the Mandalorians were a dead people, and no longer a threat.
Paranoia was what had him set up his holo-command center in his own quarters, which he had personally outfitted with an array of defenses with his entire inheritance and life savings.
So when the security holo showed Nedmore Whillingsby, an old friend who was supposed to be on patrol if not at the front lines of the battle at his door, Reechi became incredulous. Although he didn't suspect something of Nedmore, he knew something was up. It would probably be best just to not even let the problem evolve. He spoke through a comm linked to the door speaker as he turned on all the rooms locks and security subroutines and made sure that his staff was on alert. "Nedmore, there is a battle going on right now, the Mandalorians are storming the compound. This is no time for private words. We are in lockdown, and I have a battle to attend to. If you were on patrol and missed things, then that is forgiveable, but now you know the situation, so get your ass to the frontlines, now."

Nedmore paused outside and listened intently. After the commander was finished speaking, he pressed the comm button and spoke clearly and with voice full of fear and raspy from screaming.
"S-sir, that's what I'm here for, sir! The Mandalorians, they're outside! Somebody sabotaged our holovids, sir! What you're looking at... it isn't true! I don't know how, sir, but they've had this whole thing planned out ahead of time. The battle on the front, it's a diversion. They're breaking out the Karatos now. I'm under orders to get you to the secure bunker right away. You're too valuable, sir. You have to let me in!"
He said, pounding on the door with a grin on his face. He should have been in theatre.

Solus'ad missed the maneuver the enemy made, yet it had most definately done what it was intended for. The Enemy had clipped off reinforcements at their flank and pinned the Mandalorians that had pushed forward at Mandalore's command, atop the left most hill. They were a fine target for turrets one and two and the artillery pounded at them like a pair of Crushgaunts. Solus'ad heard angry chatter over his comlink. His danger proximity alert monitor suddenly exploded in a flash of red lights and fastcode text across his visor, just before an anti personel round landed home not twenty feet away from him.
The visor in Solus'ad's helmet cracked and there was a ringing in his ears. The sound receptors on his helmet had blown and his eyesight was foggy. He could feel a rush of blood but his limbs seemed unable to move. Through his now blank combat screen he could see a foggy mud encrusted vision of his own arms clawing for some sort of handhold.
He was moveing. His hand grasped onto another Mandalorian's and he was dragged to some of the poor cover the hill offered. His mind started making connections again and he regained control of his limbs. Nearby he caught sight, through his shattered visor, the broken form of his Heavy repeater.
It struck him as strange he hadn't felt it tear from the control harness he'd been wearing to help maneuver the weapon. He reached down and found that the harness arm had been severed by the shear force of the blast. It looked almost like the weapon had taken the brunt of some of the shell shrapnel.
In a fit of desperation to see, and regain himself. Solus'ad removed his helmet and threw it at the republic soldiers line of defense. It fell short of course but that didn't stop the satisfaction of releasing some of his rage on the enemy.
With things coming into perspective Solus'ad took a carbine from the corpse of a soldier laying next to him and started tapping every Mandalorian in close proximity to him.
"Vod'an, ara'novor ibac taap." (Comrades, Defend this position.) Solus'ad yelled at the top of his lungs. Willing his legs to move he half hobbled half ran to his brothers holding the rear flank. Finally he clumsily fell into a small pit that some of the Mandalorians had taken up position in. One took a blaster shot to the head and colapsed inward into his arms. Solus'ad dumped the body into the dirt and he started yelling encouragement to the soldiers in the dirty hole.
"Dha Werda Verda a'den tratu!" (We are the rage of The Warriors of the Shadow,) It struck Solus'ad as foolhardy to start quoteing Dha erda Verda in the middle of combat but for some reason it seemed to make sense. "KOTE!!!" (Glory) He yelled. His voice carrying over the roar of the explosions and the rattle of death.
"TAYLIR IBAC TAAP!! (Hold this position!) He roared. "DHA WERDA VERDA A'DEN TRATU!!" As another anti personel shell exploded behind him, silohuetteing his upright form. A roar of acknowledgement came from the rear lines and the Mandalorians started throwing their weight into the enemy as they attempted to advance and crush their cut off foes.
Solus'ad leapt out of the hole and ran back to the forward position and began tapping several specific Mandalorians on the shoulder getting their attention.
He made hand gestures to three sniper units letting them know he planned to move in regardless and he'd be taking three other soldiers with him. They were going to take out turret 1. He slung three det-packs over his shoulder and gave the hand gesture to his men that they were to get into position and clear them a path.
They were not going to stop. There was no stopping. There was no holding position. There was no waiting. There was only forward.
"KOTE BAH MANDALORE!! IB'TUUR JATNE TUUR ASH'AD KYR'AMUR!!" (Glory to Mandalore! Today is a good day for somone else to die!!) Spit flew from Solus'ad's mouth as he yelled with an enthusiasm of insane rage.

Their situation would not improve at all as Dante had his troops scrambling about the storehouses. They were looking for explosives, grenades, anything that would help them punch a hole in the wall. The situation was dire as his helmet continued to offer up unfavorable readings. Losing hope Dante leaned back against a wall and slid down to his bottom. *****
They just spread their forces around us ey? Well We'll just press on as planned, after all our solid unit is more than their dispersed forces, so breaking one point while moving full speed shouldn't be too hard.
Those were Felis' thoughts as he continued down the slope and raised his vibroblade, he happened to be the lead of the first line. With a crashing impact Mandalore's force smashed into the Republic forces at the southern base of the left hill. Felis personally made an upward slice to cut through the person he would see so as to bring his blade quickly down and prepare for another attack. This was the initial move he had taught to all the rookies that were on the first line.
(wasn't sure if you had actually started the bombardment or not so I didn't include it)

He stared at the security vid incredulously. While it was entirely possible that things had been hacked, he was sure that he would have heard something from someone else about this way before now. It was possible, but Reechi's pride fought his conspiracy-theorists mind on it. His plan was going so well, and things made so much sense. There was no way it could not be real.
With a little help, his pride won out. As he watched the security holovid of Nedmore he became troubled. He was holding a carbine, something that none of his soldiers, especially patrolmen like Nedmore, carried. Something wasn't adding up.
Even more disturbing was the fact that Nedmore seemed to be grinning. If what he said was as serious as he made it sound, why would he be grinning?
Something was wrong, and Reechi believed that Nedmore was deeply involved.
Well, that was easily fixed. Keying in a few commands, Reechi locked and sealed all the openings in Nedmore's corridor, and closed the blast doors behind him. Once things were secured, Reechi turned on and reversed the air scrubbers there, beginning to fill the corridors with carbon dioxide. Soon, Nedmore would go unconcious, and he would be secured, locked in a maximum security cell, and put under heavy watch. Once the battle was over, Reechi could then interrogate him.
Turning, Reechi focused his attention on the battle once more. The Mandalorians were focusing all their attention on moving forward. Bad mistake. "Have the forces on the hill begin a slow retreat. Keep a step ahead of the Mandalorians. I don't want them breaking through the lines. Have the forces surrounding them give them everything they have. The Mandalorians are almost ignoring them, so they're free to cut them down as they climb the hill."
He waited, watching the holoscreen intensely. Within moments the Mandalorians had the hill, totally surrounded by Republic forces. With a smile, Reechi spoke again. "All artillery, heavy, and ranged weapons, open fire. Turrets as well. Disinegrate that hill and every damn Mandalorian on it."
He motioned a low-level officer over as his orders were implemented, showing him a datapad. "Take a tech team and go to these coordinates. Memorize them, because you're not going to take the datapad with you. There you will find an underground bunker with a combat speeder and a platoon's worth of battle droids, as well as extra artillery equipment and ammo. Activate the droids, man the speeder, drop off the equipment and ammo and get to the front." The officer nodded and ran off through a back door.
They had called Reechi crazy, paranoid. His father had owned a huge shipping company, and when he had died Reechi had received it and a huge inheritance. He had blown it all on the bunker, the speeder, and the hi-tech droids. Everyone had said that he was an idiot, destroying his future just to hide a few extra weapons. But he had known better. He had known all along.
Reechi looked back to the tactical readouts, all his trump cards played, awaiting for the Mandalorian commander's next move.

Sith troops were trained in two specific areas of combat. Firstly, they were trained in physical combat, with immense focus on infiltration, sabotage, and manipulation of circumstances. Secondly, though, troops were trained extensively in the mental side of combat, being taught early on to manipulate such emotions as fear, anger, distrust, and paranoia. So when his ruse failed to convince Reechi, Dukar wasn't particularily upset. Paranoia, he knew, was a fickle thing, and that his tactics would either get him to Reechi or in a situation quite like this one. either way, he was winning.
Blast Doors slid into place and Carbon Dioxide began to fill the corridor. Throughout it all, Dukar stood firm, taking deep breaths from time to time. Resuming his portrayal of Nedmore, he turned back to the intercom and spoke again.
"Sir? Sir, are you alright? I really must get you out of here. The Mandalorians have gotten into our air-supply systems. You are not safe in there, sir!"
He said, inhaling clearly as he turned to face the air scrubbers. Strange, thought Dukar, that they would use these on a ground base. Reechi was probably too paranoid to go without them, just in case the virus ever broke in. Interesting design, too, he remarked. Reversible. Oxygen goes in, Carbon Dioxide comes out.
What else, Dukar wondered, would go in? In response to his own curiosity, he held a hand up to the vent and removed a small vial from within his sleeve, careful to avoid the holovid, and crushed the vial, releasing a very potent form of retrotoxin into the airstream and through the oxygen system. It had an unconscious rate of a few seconds, and it would kill half of them in an hour. In a few moments, his would be the only non-toxic chamber in the compound.
But... just to be sure, he activated a small detonator on his wrist which opened a series of canisters he had left throughout the compound. He had hoped to get one in Reechi's office, but that seemed impossible now.
"Sir? Are you there?"

Why are they retreating when we are coming at them downhill? I can understand them wanting to keep us encircled, but if he keeps up this movement up then we will be victorious in the end.Don't slow for a second or you will be cut down for sure! When the Mandalorians gave a war cry it let Felis know that they still had high spirits and expectations for the battle. This was despite the fact that slowly their numbers were dwindling, while their advanced armor, coupled with their innate training and durability, no doubt helped them they were not invincible. Still they reached the bottom of the hill and continued forward using the momentum from the descent. It would be a dead sprint in order to spear the enemy base with their forces. ***** Dante, we...found...explosives...The words looked so utterly taxing on the Mandalorian as he bent over trying to catch his breath. Dante only responded with hand signals. The Mandalorian nodded and motioned for two more Mandalorians. Handing them the explosives, which consisted of one thorium charge, that was on the base god knows what reason, and multiple minor frag and plasma mines. It would be enough to at least break open enough of the wall so as to stop the decompression. Following another set of Dante's hand signals the Mandalorians had rigged up a detonation and barricaded themselves behind some crates of food and living supplies so as to shield from the close range explosion. Dante gave the final hand signal to his Mandalorian suboordinate and he pushed down the lever to the detonation device.

((Hmmm... Ard abandonned. I guess that's sort of a giving up thing. We need a stand in or something. The battle is far from over, I don't want to give up just yet. There is so much more to this fight.))
Solus'ad waited patiently for the snipers to start laying down fire. With an unintelliagle gutteral yell of rage he raced forward his three comrades close at his heels. Blaster fire sizzled past as they dodged and weaved their way closer and closer to the enemy battlements. A well aimed shot flew over Solus'ad's shoulder and hit home into the neck of the Trooper just behind him.
The hit put him down like a sack of meat. Solus'ad barely noticed his passing as they dove for cover just beneath the enemy battlement below Turret 1. All three Mandalorian Troopers activated grenades and lobbed them accurately over the wall.
The shouting of surprised republic soldiers and the scrambling of boots could barely be heard over the din of battle. Solus'ad wasteing no time gave his remaining two troopers the signal to draw Melee weaponry and fire grapples.
Solus'ad fixed the monofilament cord in his left bracer and fired it at the top edge of the wall.
Now for the hard part.
The enemy had certainly noticed their approach now. A poorly aimed missile flew over their heads and detonated against the wall just east of their position. All three Mandalorian soldiers blocked the debree.
With a quick slap to his left bracer Solus'ad's monofiliment cord began to retract quickly drawing him to the walls edge. The wall scraped against the chest plates of his armor as he ascended. From the position of the enemy battlements, they would have a poor time getting any shots in on them from their positions without loseing their cover, but once they went over the wall, things would become interesting.
When they reached the top of the battlement, Solus'ad saw blaster fire as it streaked over the lip. The resounding clap and sizzle of it, the smell of ozone exhilerated him to near extasy. He eagerly gave the signal to his two remaining soldiers to throw remaining grenades over the wall. All three Mandalorians took their remaining grenade and tossed it over.
More shouts and movement from over head. The resounding sounds of the explosions temporarily deafenned Solus'ad and he gritted his teeth against the pain in his eyes and ears. With as much strength as he could muster he pulled himself over the wall and into the hottest fire zone imaginable. The third Mandalorian Trooper took a direct hit to his head and tumbled back over the wall while Solus'ad and his remaining comrade dived for the relative safety of one of the craters produced by their remaining grenades.
From their relative cover the enemy became a shooting gallery. They would be unable to shoot at them at the risk of hitting eachother, and they were just moveing targets for Solus'ad and his comrade to burn down.
But that would slow them down too much. Solus'ad watched as his comrade, unordered, threw one of their precious det packs into the enemy lines, detonator in hand. The resulting explosion cleared him a path to the first turret.
Solus'ad ran, things seemed to slow down. A horrible ringing sound in his ears made things seems almost unreal. Almost as if he were in a beautiful dream. The most beautiful imaginable. Where he died a Mandalorian Warrior. There was no better place than here on the battlefield.
As Solus'ad ran through the ash and smoke, the only thing he could still sense was the burning sensation in his tired lungs. The turret seemed to draw near, when he had skidded to a halt at its base he dropped down to avoid fire, and tossed a det pack at the turrets barrel, where it landed with a heavy metalic thunk.
Solus'ad knew he had no time. It was his moment. The other Mandalorians could deal with the second turret. He pressed the detonation button on his wrist gauntlet, and the barrel of the turret exploded in a flash of light and twisted metal.
As it came down Solus'ad's only instinct was to protect his head. He rolled out and covered, as the bits of the turrets barrel crashed down around him. Some of it onto him. Perhaps that was glory enough.
