Practice Duels Rules/Challenges Thread

(If Silas agrees), Since Neo hasn't been around lately, and hasn't even done one grade on our duel (Silas v Xierra), I'm wondering if someone else would take up our duel? It's kind of stalled right now.

For those of you brave enough I'm taking on anyone regardless of strength. However, i warn you, come prepared to win because i'll be bringing my "A" game.

Jorgun Mythrax - Bounty hunter
Rounds 6-10 ( but it may be over in 3)

The only one of my characters even close to comparable with Jorgun would be Ean, and I'm not sure I want to see that fight.

I may consider it, though, if it's purely an unarmed/hand-to-hand fight, since they both have an 8 in unarmed, and Ean has a 9 in strength. What he lacks in weight/height he might make up for in all the different martial arts he knows.
And if you promise not to kill Ean.


(Even so, you'd have to get him reactivated anyway, since Jorgun's still in the inactive list).

Traditional:
- So I have my Jedi, so that would be lightsaber and/or Force. - challenged by Silas/Silas
- My Sith, same, but she's weaker in lightsaber combat, stronger in telekinetic/Force techniques. - challenged Alindra/nightender

- Pak is a former Rep. fighter pilot, and although he is a fair shot with a pistol, he has no other skills 'cept flying, so it could be interesting to do a dogfight-type of duel.. if there is anyone up for that.
- And my slicer... this would be the hardest one, since Trevil has, like... no real skills 'cept a little training in ranged weapons. He's basically just a hardcore hacker. So maybe a duel of slicing. Or wits.


Anyway... I'm offering them up them all; take it or leave it.

My Jedi and Sith are taken (as noted above), but Ean, Pak, and Ambria are still available. And Trevil.

I have a republic soldier, he could go against your mando sniper, I'd be a interest encounter since Bryn is more of a heavy duty soldier than a sniper.

Or your pilot could have a friendly dogfight with my Jedi knight

Or I have a bounty hunter, who is adept at slicing and hacking things but better with a blade, so I guess he could go up against your slicer in a constest to hack things :3

Hmm... any of those could work, possibly. I think I'll put out either Pak for a friendly dogfight or Trevil for a hacking battle, since I have done threads with Ambria doing some unarmed fighting; Pak and Trevil need more practice.

Which would you prefer? The pilot/dogfight one might make more sense, but either is okay with me.
As long as you don't mind if I might be a little slow to post in the duel.

Lets go for the dogfight, I havent tried to RP someone flying a ship before so It might be interesting to see how it goes :3 lets leave kivesh and Trevil duel for an other time (that would make a interesting fight, for once Im more confident in my skills)

Hey Necro, I'll accept your challenge up thar with my Jedi Council Member Roq. I know we usually try to avoid Force Users and non, but I think a 600-odd Gen'dai Bounty Hunter would be a solid match for a 60-odd Jedi Master. :3 Jorgun makes Roq look like a spring Chicken.

I wouldn't be offended if you decided to pass, though, so just let me know. How's we say five rounds?

@ Mara, sure im game, but if you're busy thats fine... and yeh i understand the uncertainty in facing a whippersnapper against a well honed weapon xD, but your call.

@ Ash, sure, sounds good... im always up for a challenge, and fighting forcers is kinda where he strives... should be fun, besides, Roq should be able to handle Jorgun, maybe not easily, but i think we'll be on fair ground :3

Since I'm new to the whole lightsaber combat thing, I thought it'd be a good idea for me to have a practise duel to get the hang of it while I wait for IC things to get round to my character. ^^
