Now, was what he did murder? All he did was strangle her, throw her, punch her, stab her, punch her some more, break a rib or two in the process of punching her and slit her throat. All with a bit of angry ranting thrown in for good measure.

I mean really, it's not like he put her on the breaking wheel or anything.

Anywho. Now that vesta has been introduced to the mythics... Was wondering who would like to be present when she tries etherium for the first time?

1. Where will vesta be when this happens? At the Tower?

2. Magnus will not likely be making another appearance in Fate (which is indeed drawing to a close), however if he does it will be to become utterly stumped as to where the Unum hideout is. At least until some mysterious program activates itself and miraculously pinpoints its exact location.

3. I might have mentioned this, but we ought to combine the sub subplot with the Isles subplot for simplicity and awesomenessnessnesses sake. Same map applies, but sub gets beached on mystery invisi-islands instead! How we get back is still pending...we'll discuss it in skype or something.

Yes. I believe we dun got special... I -might- make one last post... How could vesta NOT react to the upupupupupupup!!!! Lol. Anyway, I'm gonna do some poking around the mythics stuff and see if I can't find some kind of niche for vesta to fit into, the maybe I can actually start contributing to the mythic plot!

So, now that Vesta's at or en route to the Tower, what's next on the docket for her? Gotta get her initated and all that, but is that something we want to play out or skip a little bit and have it go on in the background?



Also, I had a passing thought that led to an idea for a Unum-centric, political intrigue sort of thread. Perhaps a chance to play around with some NPCs and keep fleshing out the way the anti-Mythics work. Thought was that they, knowing they can't face the Mythics and win in a straight-on war would try to expand their influence to some of the political leaders of the planet. Try to start working behind the scenes, get some people on their side for when things inevitably explode. Course, it would probably help if I got up that government thing for Aiaru that I've been sitting on like forever, but that can wait for a little bit xD I want to see if this idea is stupid or not.

Anyone interested?

HYPORTHETICALLY, it's a very good idea. We should have some silly threads with the Unum like we do with the MYthics--build character, sympathy, make it more clear that this isn't lame Light Side Dark Side Good vs. Evil garbage.

I agree completely. Some of the Unum are evil, sure, but I've always seen the conflict as more of a difference in politics/beliefs sort of thing than a good vs. evil fight. Feels a bit deeper that way. Beside, if it was light side vs dark side, the Unum spies in the Mythic ranks would be pretty easy to pick out xD But it's not. Especially since it's not like the Mythics are all good with people like the Blood Mythics or Kvothe

I like that, though. Some threads to develop the other side and bring some life to both would rock my socks :3

Also, as far as Vesta goes, I was thinking about RPing out the first time she tries etherium. But as far as initiation and all, that can be done OOC. I was actually thinking of doing like a mini time jump. Since her meeting with Kvothe and Math was kinda never specified in a specific time, it'd be easy to jump Vesta forward a bit so she can be in a more contributing role.
