Can Vesperia still join the villains? Stealin' some republic senators and stuff. Do you have an app for her, Dire? I couldn't find one in Fringe... Just so I can look at it. But anyway... I'm against Sith space. Not only would the Jedi not be keen to follow, but these mercs, via an anonymous rich guy, are still working for senators of the Republic. Dirty ones, but they're still with the Republic. I think the best course would be go with an Independent planet, or maybe Hutt space. Something entirely unrelated to the planet(s) the senator(s) represent or where this unknown businessman is from. Something out of the way, perhaps. Outer rim makes sense. I don't know much about Boz Pity.. I'll have to read up on it.

Well, Boz Pity on the map, has no color to it... I'm guessing it means it's unaligned with anything, then, at least in our timeline.
As for the general information the planet, there's not a whole lot. So I'm not sure how settled the planet is, and such like that. But on the other hand, it leaves room for interpretation.
I guess I'm find with it, if the rest of you are.

You couldn't find one in fringe because the App isn't in fringe. Vesperia's app (clicky)She's a siff lard. I figured she'd be the one to go with them under the guise of being a GJ or something, then when its time for the turnover she unveils herself and offers to trade the senator for favors for the Siff Emipre. Obviously that would be the plan, not the execution. *shrugs* Whatever you want to do. She just wants to beat up the good guys.

Ahh... Well, I really only want merc/bounty hunter types for this plot, not Sith. It's supposed to just be a scare tactic to change her stances in the Senate, or if not change, at least get her to think about what she's doing.
I don't want to involve the Sith in this. Sorry. I just want to keep this relatively simple. Hope you understand?

For the sake of it, I want to submit my support for having Vesperia on board. I think it lends itself to good character play between the villains, since one of them is a Jedi killer, and the other is somewhat politically charged. It seems like it would present some development for the three of them, and would be a big cool play for the Jedi that are coming for them as well to find that there's a Sith that's working it.

It's Mara's story, she gets to decide.
But there is a Jedi Master and a fairly young padawan that's coming. Thats all the Jedi. So a Sith Lord and a Jedi Killer seems a bit overkill.
But like I said, Mara decides. Not like anyone is dying unless they want to anyways.

Has everyone forgotten the sign-up thread in the RP Requests board? ;p
Haha. Anyway...
Yes, I think two mercs versus two Jedi (one a padawan) and an assassin droid is fair enough odds. And a Sith would tip this over the scale.
But besides that, like I said, I want to keep this fairly simple and low-key. Having a Sith involved would just complicate things, in my mind. And, I'm afraid that my senator would get forgotten in the whole ordeal. I mean, if there's a story of a kidnapped/rescued senator with another at the same time of a Jedi and his padawan fighting a Sith, which do you think would get more attention?
It's my choice to go with only bounty hunter/merc types for this plot, and I'm stocking with it. I don't mean any disrespect by it; this is just the way I want the story to go.
Now back to the discussion.... Are we all agreed on having Boz Pity as the location the two bounty hunters bring my senator? Are there any other suggestions for the hiding place?

I've decided to pull out of this. The more I've thought on it, the more I just conclude that Vako isn't really a good fit for this sort of thing. It takes him in a direction, I'd just rather not put him down. Sorry.

All righties... sorry to hear that, but I understand. I'll go bump the RP request thread, see if we can get another merc to play with Darvek...

I have a Republic Army NPC if the need might arise...
I also have my pilot dude, but I don't really see him fitting into this.

Well, there hasn't really been any interest so far for anyone wanting to play the other mercenary... so that leaves a couple options (since I don't want to delay this too much longer): -- Grey, if you could play an NPC or two? -- Or, I'll just play a couple NPCs. This would work out, say if the businessman behind everything hires Darvek, and then the senator would chip in a couple of his own guys (or vice versa). Anyway... shall I take the lack of discussion that everyone agrees on Boz Pity? If so, we should start figuring out how we're gonna start this first thread, the actual kidnapping, and how Darvek's gonna get Ina away from Ofi...

Well, it's pretty easy, really. It's basically just another (minor) character that you would control. No apps or anything needed. Just a bit of an extension of what you might be already doing in RPs.
For example, if you ever had a character go up to bartender and talk to him, and then you had the bartender speak back, or maybe just perform a small action... that's sort of like an NPC, but very, very, very minor. Or maybe an easier example would be what you did in your RP sample... assumably you had more characters in there than just Darvek.
But for this, the NPC(s) would be a bit more central to the plot, but still relatively unimportant, compared to the PCs.
Does this help?
Anyway, if you're still unsure... I could do an NPC or two to help Darvek out.
