Alas, sadly, you are correct. I just wanted a strong blue skinned race, but it seems the chiss would be more than enough for my desires. But thank you very much Mr. Dutch and Ms. Mara.

Oh, I'm going to assume you actually meant to thank me for answering your original question there, Panda XD.
Those purple 'M' names can be tricky!
EDIT: Also Chiss sounds like it should be perfect for what you're looking for. Just pop me a PM if you need assistance with anything!

My questions are more along the lines of the current storyline, I know you guys probably have it in some neat thread, but there’s just so much to read…Anyway ^^ For what I was able to understand, the Sith came back only recently, so there’s no Empire, but there is an organized Sith Order, right? What is their powerbase? Is there a reason they are coming back now, like a leader who managed to rally them? Or just an unusual amount of Jedi who have fallen recently? Are they all hidden? Or undercover like Palpatine/ Sidious ? Anything going on in Korriban?
On the Mandalorian note…In the EU, the Mandos declare war on the Republic because they were being manipulated by the secret Empire, or at least their Mandalore was. What about this one? I know Mandos don’t need too much of a reason to break all hell loose, but the Republic is a pretty tough opponent to take on without a good reason ^^ Now, what is the Republic dealing with? Besides the Hutts, Exchange, secret Sith, rogue Jedi and the Mandalorian, are there “rebels” that support a future Empire?
Whoa, whoever is reading this probably hates me by now, so many questions, right? Anyway, how fragmented is the Jedi Order?

Alright, I'll try to answer some of these questions about the Sith. It's the only faction I know much about, tbh. There is a Sith Empire, and has been for about fifty years. Up until three years ago, it had no connection to the Stih Order (the religion-y bit with the Force users that we're all familiar with) because there were no Sith Order. (The last Darth had died over a hundred years ago.) Instead, the Empire was and is a group of planets in the Expansion Region/Outer Rim that left the Republic for financial freedoms, etc.. They call themselves the Sith Aristocaracy and are the main reason that the current Sith have the bankroll to pursue their war with the Republic. The Order, as it is now, was founded two or three years ago after the current Overlord(s) found a Sith holocron buried on Subterrel. It contained a stronger-than-average imprint of a ancient Sith known as Darth Everos, who taught them in exchange for a chance to get his entirely polgonal mits on the Galaxy again. (This holocron has either since gone missing or been destroyed by the Jedi, I do not recall.) Iniquitous and Paxis's original motives are a little blurry in my mind because it's been a while. I believe the former was interested in researching the Darkside and the latter had some very idealistic ideas about brotherhood n' such. So, yeah. Dark Jedi were rallied to Korriban. Some of them joined. The temple was reconstructed, and another was built on Ziost. The Overlords of course had their own apprentices, whom they promoted to help lead the Order. (Forming most of our current cast of Darths.) Up until the Sith sacked Dantooine, all of the Sith leadership was fairly secret (with the exception of Eurachis who leads the space fleet) and the Overlords still are. Korriban is a bit of an open secret – everyone knows that the Sith traditionally love that place. They've been doing pretty well in the war, trading hits with the Blades. I guess I'll try your Jedi question too, since I'm on the subject! The Jedi are quite strong right now, at least in numbers, though divided on the Council's decision to stay out of the war. So, you've got the Blades, Jedi who decided to fight for the Republic anyway, and everyone else.

Niiiice, thanks ^^ So, this Sith Aristocracy, they are like the Separatist, but decided to call themselves "Sith" because it sounds cool? :3 Sounds good, I'd imagine some of the real Sith would be pissed to know the name was being used like that.
That answered most of my doubts on that front, thanks Neo

I know Mandos don’t need too much of a reason to break all hell loose, but the Republic is a pretty tough opponent to take on without a good reason ^^ This is the thread that details our Mandalorians and how they fit into SWU: swrponline2.proboards.com/thread/20142/mandalorian-notesFor further detail, the wookieepedia page on Mandalorians can give you moar in depth information Now, what is the Republic dealing with? Besides the Hutts, Exchange, secret Sith, rogue Jedi and the Mandalorian, are there “rebels” that support a future Empire? Those 'rebels' are actually the Aristocracy! Since the Empire is already doing so well in the war, most citizens that want to convert just do lol Whoa, whoever is reading this probably hates me by now, so many questions, right? Honestly questions only lead to making our job as staff easier. Especially when it comes to character apps. That answered most of my doubts on that front, thanks Neo YEAH Neology THANKS GAWD But anyway, yes, they are in fact separatists in their own rite. How they came to being called Sith is actually to be revealed in a story event soon *_* And the Sith Order aren't pissed at all, the Aristocracy has funded them more than the Republic has ever given to the Jedi

I am new, I've gone and read all the information I could. (And will go back ((repeatingly no doubt.)) to ensure that I have retained it.)
I want to inquire about details which a person can not use in character creation. Examples being race, planets which were not found as of yet, and force powers. As much as it would seem that whatever these details are, are in fact, forbidden. It has also been mentioned that under a staff members judgement, that exceptions could be possible.
For example, after some hunting I have noticed that Barab is not on the map provided at all. Yet it is very close to Hutt Space, could there be any justification as to why one of these lizard folk could be a character? Have there ever been any situations where exceptions have been made?
And lastly, if the last paragraph was not hintful enough, would having a Barabel as a character be completely out of the question?

As much as it would seem that whatever these details are, are in fact, forbidden. It has also been mentioned that under a staff members judgement, that exceptions could be possible. This refers to planets/races that were not discovered at the time of our plot (~3600 BBY). For example, if wookieepedia says that a planet did not make contact with the rest of the galaxy until, say 0 BBY, then that planet is probably off-limits. This is independent of the galaxy map, which does not show all the planets that have been discovered, since it's just not big enough.

This is probably a stupid question as it's most likely stated elsewhere, but for the sake of clarity I'll ask...how does one become a Jedi Blade? And by that I mean, can anyone do so and is it stated in your character application or do you have to apply after you've made a character?

Pretty much any Jedi who wants to can become a Blade. It's a voluntary thing, so if your character wishes to join the war effort, they're a Blade. You'd put it under Allegiance, Status or Rank in the character template. There's some flexibility there.
It is late and I've had a very long work day so I hope that makes some sort of sense xD

Hello! So I have another question, once again regarding my Jedi character in the making. So, regarding the "Force Training" category all the Jedi apps I've seen have listed an average of about 2-3 force abilities while my character has 7 (lol). So I'm inclined to ask: is this category for specialized force abilities or all force abilities in which my character has been trained? Furthermore, is there an unspoken expectation for 2-3 abilities or is there no limit within reason as well as with proper explanation? Thank you in advance!

It is for specialized Force abilities. Basic uses such as Force Push or Force Speed don't need to be listed.
Additionally, there is no set limit, but unless the character is a Jedi Consular or other Force-focused specialty ... It's very unlikely that your reviewer will approve more than two or three. These things do take time to learn. :3

And even then (just to chime in) amount of specialized powers doesn't necessarily equal your character is more powerful. My own Sith would be classified as a 'consular' or 'sith lord' from the KOTOR game series, but only has one specialized ability. Does this make him weak? Oh my no, I can proudly say he can take on most Sith in his order So just remember kids, you dun have to have tons of specialized powers to be a space faring space badass from space, savvy?
