Well doesn't being a mandalorian mean you follow a certain religion/way of life? And isn't serving the dark side a completely different way of life? I don't think you can have two ways of life.

You could say that they used to be a Mandalorian until they discovered that they were force sensitive, and you could have the character still follow some mandalorian practices (using Mandalorian armor, speaking in the Mandalorian language, etc.). On the other hand, you could have them still be Mandalorian, but with some jedi/dark jedi training (using lightsabers/minor force powers), although I don't know if you're allowed to do something like that on this site.

i wasnt planing on making a character of both i was just wondering
ya they dont see eye to eye and mandalorians whole child hood is training basicly and you rarley find them saying they are force sensitive

What do we have to do before we can get to the next rank for what evr faction we belong to, does are master do so when he/she thinks we are ready?

For Dark Jedi, what rank do we have to be to take on an apprentice?

I'm not sure on the Dark Jedi part, but I can answer your signature question:

Just, once you have a link for an image, put [image], [/image] around the link. It should make the image show up. : )

Well it matters...Not all padawans get masters and such, so if you want to go up a rank...you can update your bio accordingly.

I think its the same for DJ as it is for Regular Jedi in regards to apprentices...Knights can have apprentices(In fact its the only way for them to become masters)...so DJ knights can also have apprentices.

If you go into profile and click modify profile, you can change your display name, which changes how your username looks to most of the forum, although if someone PM's you then they'll see your original lowercase name. Does that help, or did I completely miss the question?

Your usename cannot be changed; that is the one you log in with.

But like sparrow said, you may change your display name to anything you would like.

If lightsabers were to contact a mirror, would it act like a laser in RL and reflect back in the opposite direction?

uhhhh if a lightsaber were brought near a mirror, the mirror would melt.

Wrong, Canon states that Lightsabers do not produce heat :F hence why the Hilts don't melt liquid metal on Jedi Luke's hands, hence why it can get close without your skin melting off.


However, a Saber=/=a laser, a laser is focused light, a Saber, is *MOST LIKELY* magnetically trapped plasma (The energy, not the blood part) which would explain for a lot of things.
