Does anyone have any idea as to what calendar system we would be using at this point in time? I mean, obviously we are in the year 3602 BBY in relation to the films etc. but it would naturally be impossible to refer to the year as such IC, thanks to the fact that the Battle of Yavin has not happened yet... Consequently, I feel we should have some sort of system we can use to refer to the date IC.
I personally would suggest 358 ABM, referring to the Battle of Malachor V (the last battle of the Mandalorian Wars) or 354 ABR(P), referring to the Battle of Rakata Prime (the last battle of the Jedi Civil War). I know that Yavin was the first major battle of the Galactic Civil War, but I feel that the last battles of the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars were more significant - as well as being easier to find information on.
I'm sorry if that was a little confusing, but I'm rather tired, and am having trouble concentrating... I think I shall go to bed now ;D

Ok. I have a question. For my military person I'm making, my person is an independant faction with the fleet I had made when I made this person. What should I do?

uhhhh if he is an independent faction then he is a fringer/mercenary not military. There are only three military factions on this site.

Wookiepedia doesn't know how people during the Old Republic referred to time, but I think it should be pointed out that players can't use "BBY" IC. Until the Battle of Yavin, numerous epochs and calendars existed, so it was probably confusing.
Question: If my character has a very common or generic ship/vehicle/droid/weapon that has a thorough wookiepedia article, do I have to create an app for that technology on SWURP or can I just link to the wookiepedia article from the character's app?

If you're using a stock version, i.e. not changing it at all, you don't need to create an app for it. Unless you'd like to add it to the general ship list in the Ship board, for others to use, lol. But you should just be able to put the ship's name in your bio. Zarky or Dire can correct me if I'm wrong.

If a jedi padawan were to fall to the darkside and become a dark jedi with no dark jedi knight to teach him, would that mean he would be considered a neophyte?

No, he'd be considered an acolyte since that is the equivalent level. However, the character's training wouldn't really advance until they get themselves a new master.

Right, so, I accidentally made a fifth character without asking permission too, not really realizing that you had to get each char' over four permissionalized and all that stuff...
And he's already been approved and stuff but nobody knew I didn't ask any Mod or Admin for Permission, and I've even posted with him. Just thought I should bring it up in case it becomes an issue in the future. Can I have a Administartor's pardon? *Bats eyes and asks innocently*

Needing to find out where to post a survey of how many are interested in a Droid Faction?
I think it would be OK just to make faction (droids) but if none interested time and effort is lost.

If I understand you correctly, I think your best bet is to post your request in the Roleplay Requests section.

Forum policy on Lich characters? ^-^
What about Schizophrenic jedi who literally have voices inside of their head that compete for/with their bodies? Think "Me, myself, and Irene."
And one last quick question...would a narcoleptic, cleptomaniactic, pyro be completely out of the question? Or is that just too many mental disorders?
A question for the Tech team about a new invention: I've got this new idea for planetary defenses, called the Threshhold turret...Basically like constructing a huge turret on the ground that fires upward in huge beams, but instead of firing destructive beams, it acts as sort of a gravity gun, using magnetic force to grab hold of large rocks, or asteroids, and launching them into incoming ships. Many asteroids are made out of magnetic material, and with a powerful enough magnetic force you could easily launch asteroids! Okay, maybe not easily, but after a lot of refinement it could be a valid planetary defensive maneuver, taking or creating asteroids and putting them into orbit around a planet.

Power Drain would be far to large for any kind of power source of this era anyway.

This Question is mainly for Jenno, tho any can comment. It is reguarding rooms in the Sith Temple:
-Could one see if a specific room such as a training room be made and used. For mulit-thread posts withy out having to set up one through the mod's-
Well here is the Description for the Training room in the Sith Temple-
-One sec-
Ok back and here it is
'The Hall of Trials'
-Description-(from In Search of Power, The Sith Temple)
A three over lapping tiered training room is designed to look like a cross between an tomb and a arena. The first floor was 120 feet from the center to the furthest circular wall. The second tier's center ring was 100 feet from the center of the first floor with it's outer wall being 140 feet. The third tier's center ring was 120 feet from the center of the first floor with it's outer wall being 160 feet. Three rings with a common center. Each tier was 12 feet in height. The ceiling is 100 feet in the curved center
The force construction was unique in that it had all three areas of the force, light, dark, and the void. The center of the massive room was the void extending three feet below the floor to three feet above the ceiling. Each floor has alternating areas of dark and light force areas. Each floor's force pockets is off set to the lower tier.
The force areas are lit differently the light side are lit from outside light. As for the dark side is completely void of light. The center of the room is lit by the refracted light from the light side sun portals.
-end of description-

When I first made the Sith Temple area I considered creating a number of different areas for use by everyone, however it was decided that it would be better if that character could just move between different places in a single rp thread, makes the whole thing a bit more well rounded.

Two questions:
Force familiars yes or no? basically creatures visible or in, conjured from a Force user. My character Grawn sees one only visible to him but its more a representation of the Force for his half insane mind. (Force grip = hounds mouth at persons throat for ex.) and was curious if with more training he could make it into a physical being.
and...
Mando crushgaunts.
