I don't know what 'normal posting' entails. Does that mean we still have to work off of the posting order, or can we just go whenever?

Whichever. Admittably, with this many people, the idea of a posting order was... er, howshallwesay a tad inconsiderate to those of us who want to some actual dialogue going. The point of this particular thread, mind you, is to get everyone acquainted with Ethan, Horst, and Bit (and whoever else they might want to see/meet).
Perhaps we just make it open and free-for-all?

Alrighty, Gents! This is it, our first official Spearpoint raid!
We're going to hit a small station near Dantooine, housing weapons and medical supplies going to the planet. The majority of the ships we have will hit the station directly, drawing whatever space forces they have away.
The Verada Nashta has a stealth system that hides it from sensors. We're wrap around behind the battle and dock with the station. They shouldn't know we're their until we dock.
Once we're aboard, The Verada will go off and join the Space battle, in perfect position for a flank. The team on board the station will split into two. One team will go for the station's defenses, turning them against the Sith space forces. The second team will go for the cargo and get it loaded. We're after weapons and medical supplies this time around. Medical supplies for us, and weapons for profit.
What I need to know is where everyone wants to go, and what everyone wants to do. We have starfighters, bombers, corvettes, a gunboat, and the people on the ground. Obviously, you want to play to your characters strengths.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact me via PM or Skype.

So, a thought occurred to me and Rugs as we read this. Mind you, Dantooine is like, OUR planet, so we know what's up with the Sith around the planet at this time.
To be completely honest, Dantooine isn't gonna be an easy target, at all. A large portion of Sith Naval forces are there, and with the Rebellion lead by the DLA on the planet, security and forces are gonna be beefed the F up.
Just a thought on the planet itself, may be better to hit a less hot zone for the Sith, somewhere they'd be weakened, not strengthened :3
And Rugs said you can yell at him if you disagree, I'm just a messenger/ transcendental super star

Basically what he said.
Unless 'near Dantooine' means 'sorta close on the map, but not in the system,' in which case carry on. Otherwise yeah, you don't want to raise hostilities with the Sith near Dantooine, lest ye be flattened.

Seems to me location is kind of irrelevant to the actual mission, so that can be changed.
You can count Ervisa in flying one of the bombers.

It's definitely NOT in system. Just close.
We choose the proximity just for that reason, the heighten security. We figured, with the Sith focusing on Dantooine, that most of the forces in the area would be preoccupied there. They wouldn't worry about some little supply depot in the middle of no where.
So yes, not in system. Close, but no cigar.

It defies sense that they wouldn't worry about an outpost that sends supplies to the planet, as you say it does. Since, y'know, if you want to hurt the Sith on Dantooine, you cut off or hamper their ability to get supplies.
Supply routes are vital in wars, you know =P So you might want to rethink that detail and make it unrelated, or like lmr implied, move it somewhere less likely to be of import.

H'okay, in terms of location, let me go ahead and clarify this. Now if we look at our handy-dandy Galaxy Map, we can see Dantooine bein' chill and what have you in Sith space, cha? Cha. Now then, see Jaemus right there on the border? Draw an invisible line from there to Dantooine. The supply base is on the mid-point of said invisible line. S'cool?

Zett's main options in this shin-dig are to either fly a fighter or join the infiltration team. If he goes with a fighter, he'll be engaging the Sith space forces around the station. If he goes with the infiltration team, he'll roll with Horst and the ground team, be brought to the station via our super-sneaky Verada Nashta, and probably be sent to clear out Sith forces and secure the loot.
You're call, Zettsy-ma-boy.

Now then, see Jaemus right there on the border? Draw an invisible line from there to Dantooine. The supply base is on the mid-point of said invisible line. S'cool? I've been away and had other things to deal with recently, so I only just saw this. But... Said invisible line is right along the edge of Sith space, which is very near, and in some places, touching, Republic space. You don't have a supply post on the front line so lightly defended that some ragtag pirates could attack it and make a big mess of things. That's not conducive to Galactic conquest. Which again falls back to my earlier point of not leaving bases, especially bases that feed supplies for one of your biggest captured worlds so far, so undefended any ol' pirate raid could hamper your ability to keep your supplies flowing the way they need to. Supply lines are the backbone of an army; they'd be defended, especially in the Outer Rim, where pirate raids are common. So no, this scenario still doesn't make a lot of sense. Not if you want to not get steamrolled, anyway.

Okay, location doesn't matter. Random Spot out in the middle of space works fine for me, how about you guys? That's what I thought... Anyhow, raid will go up soon. We're going to hit an asteriod with a supply depot built into it. The basic plan now is to have the corvettes, the fighters/bombers, and The Verada drop out of hyperspace. The Verada will activate it's stealth systems and send it's shuttle to board the station. Horst (played by Mike) will lead a ground team (Of which Zett'll be a part of) which will split up. One team will go after the loot while the second team goes to turn the station's defenses in our favor. We will be fighting one of these, plus it's compliment of fighters. swrponline2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sithships&action=display&thread=12663The goal fighting the frigate is not to capture it or even destroy it. The goal is to survive long enough for the ground team to turn the station's defenses against the frigate. Once the frigate is dead in the water and the station is pacified, we'll have to load the loot pretty quick before reinforcement arrives. Ground Team: Mike Zett Space: Ghostie Lmr Ash LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP, PEOPLE!

OK Zett having his knowledge of computers as he does should probably go for the weapons area and reprogram the weapons to be in our favor.
