Race: Human (Cyborg)
Age: 31
Birthplace: Mandalore
Allegiance: Mandalore
Status: Active
Rank: Rally Master
Height/Weight: 6”1’ / 220LBS
Appearance: Ash is a pretty average man. Outside of his armor, he stands as tall with tanned skin, black hair, and a toned body. He has a series of tattoos on his arm, them rings around his biceps and a few diamonds in a triangle shape above the rings on his left arm. He has a strong, sharp face and golden-yellow eyes flecked with maroon sit under sharp eyebrows. His hair is a little over four inches in length, roughly cut and feathered back to keep it out of his eyes. He has scaring over his body, the only real visible one is over his right eye.
Ash's Beskar’gam is matte black with tones of orange over his helmet, shoulder, some on his chest, forearms, and thighs. His helmet has speakers that he can loudly project out of, as well as small internal fans to blow his hair back when donning it, and to keep him cool. His dark undersuit is made of armorweave, giving him extra protection.
Ash has a few cybernetic replacements, them being an arm and leg that are matte black. They both resemble the limbs he use to have, and almost looks like he had before, with the exception of looking like they are armored plated. The armor plates that cover the skeleton and insides are easily removed, and are rather modular. Normally, his right arm contains a hidden knife. There isn't anything special about his left leg, save for it containing a small compartment in his thigh, allowing him to store small goods to anything up to a blaster pistol. The cybernetics in his brain aid him with his motor skills and bring him up to par with other humans and humanoids. Without them, he has a hard time moving at all, and would be greatly hobbled, and have trouble with basic movements, and be nearly unable to walk without assistance.
Personality: Ash is a decently intelligent man who lets his actions speak just as loud as his words. Ash speaks in a deeper, calm voice and as the charisma that can silence a room easily without much effort. In his off time, Ash is usually training or working out, target practice, reading something, cleaning his weapons, or wandering around
Due to his mother dying of a brain tumor when he was younger, and his wife being killed, he harbors a dark seed in his heart, and is afraid of making solid connections to anyone. He would be someone's friend, to a point, but even now, remains alone. He is always trying to remain busy so he can keep his mind off of everything. He has forgotten what it was like to truly open up to anyone
Ash is very honor bound, going out of his way to help those in need, be it a general chore, or on the battlefield. He is unafraid of death: he does not wish it for himself, but he will accept it at when his time came.

Biography: ((Young childhood 0-7)
Ash was born to a man named Clark, and a woman named Ula, both of Clan Rook. Before Ash even reached his first birthday, his Father went on some sort of mission and never returned. In truth, he brought dishonor him him and his clan by cheating on his wife, and was forced out. (Whatta prick). Ula kept this matter a secret, and was very troubled by these events, and was now left to rise a child without a Father. Of course, the rest of the small clan would help out as well, but for the most part, Ula was alone.
As soon as she was able to, Ula began to teach Ash basic school work, drilling the child to become smart even at a young age. Well, smart for a child. By the time he was four, he was fairly literate, even for someone who would be in a regular school.
By the time Ash was six, he was able to solve simple math, such as multiplication and division. He also studies some tactics of old, learning how his ancestors fought the galaxy, from Ash's currently narrow perspective. Ash had an aptitude for the old history and tactics, and knew that just running in without a plan got people killed
Ash, when he was around seven, was learning how to cook and do household chores, helping out his mother, who was becoming sicklier by the day. She arranged for Ash to be shown all his military and survival training by a man named Slade, who was an old family friend, and a member of the Rook Clan.
((Training 8-13))
Upon Ash turning 13 him and Slade were transported to a decently sized Island simply called The Island by his clan. For the next five years of Ash's life, he and Slade lived on The Island, with hardly any technology. At least once a month, the Rook clan checked up on Ash and Slade though a radio.
Ash's military training began with him not learning how to shoot, but instead on how to create and use the most basic of weapons and tools, such as arrows, spears, and the like. They were very simple weapons that one could craft on many different planets, and, if not necessarily the best for modern war, would allow him to survive.
Survival, boy, is your top priority, no matter what. One who knows how to live off the land has far better odds of finding their way back home and continuing the fight over someone who only knows how to pull a trigger. And remember, you brain is the greatest weapon and tool you will ever have.[/color]
These words were imbued into Ash, and he took them to heart.
Slade taught the child how to fight as if they were swords, alternating between one longer stick, or two smaller ones. Running all over The Island, fighting, shooting, killing, crafting, and other jobs toned the young Ash, and eventually, after his first year, they got a shipment of slugthowers and martial weapons, such as swords: simple weapons that were easy to maintain. There was also supply of training droids so Ash could get use to how combat actually worked.
For the first six months after Ash turned 9, he fought against the droids as if they were in a time long forgotten, using dull swords and non-lethal arrows. He was taught by Slade on how to repair the droids himself. It was simple stuff usually, with Slade taking care of much of the work, but Ash was made to do more and more as time went on.
Using training he learned from hunting the local fauna, Ash stalked the droids on various training missions, putting a few different, very simple, tactics into work. He always had Slade at his side, watching and judging him, but Ash learned how to tune out the man.
Around Ash's 11th birthday, they got a new shipment of weapons: blasters of many variates. This not only pleased Ash, but Slade as well, because it opened up more options for Ash. For over a month, Slade instructed Ash in proper use and care for a blaster, and eventually pitted him up against the droids.
Around the age of 12, Ash was engaging in small scale battles: reminiscing of generations past during some battles of the Mandalorian war. Ash proved himself well. They studied how old battles were fought, and Slade had Ash practice a few of the engagements against a few robots, while telling him how the Mandalorians of old did everything.
At the age of 13, Ash underwent the final trial of the Verd'goten; not only on paper, but out in the field. Ash had to show everything he was taught, and, after more than a week of the trial, Ash passed, and was officially a man regarding the Mandalorian culture.
The first day of the trial began with a basic knowledge test ‘if he did this, what do you do’ type of stuff. He was questioned on Mandalorian history, as well as history on the Republic, basic signs for poisonous fauna, medicinal and useful plants on Mandalore, and a few other subjects.. The next two days were marksman drills, weapon management, and the like. The real testing in Ash’s eyes didn’t begin until the third day, which went on for two days, and that was a simulation survival scenario.
What Ash had to do was survive for three days and two nights, which would be easy, if Slade wasn’t hunting him. Ash was sent into the wild with a day’s worth or rations, a little bit of water, some survival tools, and a vibro-knife. He was also given a three hour head start before Slade was to head after him.
Ash never dared make a fire, not once, and sparsely ate from his rations, instead using the land around him, and ate what berries and such he came across. On the second day, he managed to find a nice place on a hillside to hold up in, and he didn’t need to work too hard to hide his little hide. That night, it rained, which Ash felt was really bad. He was up all night, constantly on his guard for fear of Slade coming for him.
On the third day, Ash had to make his way back to where he started from. It was only when he had eyes on their campsite that Slade, like a ghost, came up behind Ash. It was a success for Ash, but he still needed to work on many things, which was obvious.
((Early manhood 13-20))
Ash got his first set of Beskar'gam soon after returning from his five year exclusion. It was one of the armors that used to belong to Ash's father when he was Ash's age. He was a little taller than his father use to be, so he had to get the plates put in a different set of armorweave made for him, but he made due.
During those five years away, Ula was hospitalized four times due to her illness, which turned out to be inoperable brain tumors. Before Ash turned 14, Ula passed away, leaving the small estate and everything within it to Ash.
The estate wasn't too terribly large, sitting on a dozen acres of land on Mandalore, but it was enough for Ash to live off of. The estate also had a hidden underground bay, which contained plenty of spare parts, as well as a ship. Ash didn't mess with it right now, so he simply left it.
For about a year, Ash mourned for his mother, the longest out of his clan, mostly because he was young. During this year, he dedicated much of his time occupying his mind through physical and mental labor, hardly allowing himself to sleep. His clanmates were concerned for the young mourning man, but understood his pain.
Around the age of 15, Ash's clanmates began to take him along with them on simple missions. Ash, though he was young, was one of the larger Mandalorians in the clan, was usually tasked with carrying the heavier weapons, such as a rotary cannon and a grenade launcher (((NOT AT THE SAME TIME!!!!1!!))), on top of his usual assortment of weapons and equipment. He had electromagnets installed under his plates so he could carry his equipment easily. Never once was he not around 2 or 3 of his fellow clansmen.
With this new addition to his armor, which he was also starting to customize, he was walking around much easier, and had a place to store his assortment of weapons. Standing a little over six feet now, any extra help to lighten the load so he can move around was well welcomed.
At the age of 16, Ash took slowed down mercenary work to learn about investment in his off time. He decided to do this when he heard some of the older members of his clan talking about never having enough money do do what they would like. Thinking about this, he visited the older members, and took advice about what to do, and they almost always mentioned investment. With help of the older clansmen, already knowing how to do so, instruct him, and soon had some money invested into growing stocks and saving bonds with the Corporate Alliance. He also learned how to look into stocks so he would know what to look for before he started to invest without a tutor.
A little after the age of 17, Ash decided that he would go into a small school that taught advance warfare. He had a feeling somewhere deep inside his body that it would grow with time, as does everything.
((Early military life 18-24)
Ash was well received in the school: showing up in his full beskar'gam, weapons, and dark demeanor. He quickly became friends with a wookie nicknamed Hoal.
Ash and Hoal developed a kind of friendly rivalry, be it though book smarts or tests of strength. Ash's hard work through years of training made for a good opponent of Hoal's natural strength. After the three months of basic training was finished, Ash and Hoal went their separate ways, with Hoal joining the Army and Ash moving to the Navy: more specific Special Operations under the Mandalorian Naval Special Warfare Command under a recommendation.
The next year and then some were a grueling hell in his training. The first few weeks were simple orientation and preparation school, to include physical and health examinations.
The 6 months afterwards was the first phase of his training. The first three weeks included the introduction to how their lifestyle would be in the training, and overall prepping for everything to come. The next 21 weeks were environmental training; space, water, air, and land based. They all learned how to pilot basic crafts such as speeders, basic ships, and aquatic crafts. They also learned how to chart, graph, and map land and water, something he didn't learn while on The Island.
Space combat was fun to learn, as they all had to use, if they didn't have beskar'gam, then pressurized suits. Their suits also had to be able to use upwards of 2 hours of air, or have pressurized tanks. Ash had to use tanks, which he simply attached to his back. They learned how to breach a ship in space, which was quite useful, especially when it came to pirates and the sort.
Land combat, however, was Ash's favorite. It included weapons, demolitions, land navigation, patrolling, rappelling, marksmanship and small-unit tactics. Ash was already proficient at weapons, navigation, and marksmanship training, but the time they spent at everything was excellent for him and the rest of his team.
During this phase in his training, many people fell out of the school, and re-classed to something else, be it in the Army or Navy. Ash managed to hold onto his spot, and passed the first phase of his training.
The next phase of his training, consisting of about 30 weeks, was advanced training in atmospheric entry, stealth, advance weapon training, medical training, ((stop bleading, set bones, stitch wounds, give IV's, ext.)), advance small unit tactics, and Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training.
During this time, he learned how to glide for miles to reach his destination using special flight gear, or fly to a high place to set up an Overwatch Position with help from his jetpack.
Ash graduated, not at the top of the class, but towards the higher middle of it. He was getting close to the age if 19 now. After some leave back home with his clan, he was assigned to a troop, and then a platoon and team, a Petty Officer Second Class of the Navy's Special Forces.
Now as a member of the military, Ash did pretty much the same as he was before, only in a small, highly trained unit, and more dangerous missions. He had enough training from when ye was a young teen, and didn't crack under pressure.
His first mission with his team, known as the Nexu's were to assault a pirate base, and leave no survivors. Ash was picked as part of the distraction team.
He and two others air assaulted onto the top of the pirate base in the middle of a stormy night. They busted through one of the windows and started lighting up anything that moved. Upon entry, Ash actively switched between a rifle and a grenade launcher to rain down destruction.
The two primary assault teams entered at the ground level, and within half an hour, there was no pirate left standing. After planting explosives, the entire pirate structure, hanger, and ships, were brought down.
Upon returning from the mission, Ash met a young human woman working as a bartender in Keldabe, named Karen, who has dyed vibrant, pink hair and an attitude to boot. Karen was feisty, taking no crap from anyone, and was generally a riot. Ash fell for her instantly, but kept hit hidden from the woman. His fellow soldiers, however, instantly knew by how his mannerism's changed and gave him hell for it.
It took Ash a short while, but he eventually asked the woman out on a date, and she accepted. He learned more about her, that she grew up with four older brothers and had to act accordingly in order to not be trotted on by them. She also had a softer side of her, even if it was misplaced: She thought Strill were the cutest things ever. He didn't like them much at all, including their stench, but knew that the women didn't smell them as harsh at all.
Romance soon blossomed between the two of them, and when it came to a more intimate relationship, Karen was very shy. She didn't know how to act all girly and cute, and expressed this to Ash. He simply stated that he fell for her with how she was, not how she thought she should be.
Ash's demeanor also lightened up some, as he started to joke around a little bit more than he use to, but he was always serious when it counted. After he turned 21 he and Karen were married. The woman moved into Ash's estate, which was close enough to Keldabe for a short commute whenever she had work.
Ash, for the first time in years, was happy, and things were going well, until about six months after he and Karen were married: the woman was unable to conceive a child. Both were heartbroken, but knew that they would easily able to adopt. Karen didn't want that, at least not right now, so they enjoyed their life together.
Ash's work in the military did call for him to be away from Karen for long periods of time, and thankfully, for the most part, Ash managed to keep away from most injury. Pirates and raiders were becoming more frequent and violent nowadays, meaning Ash was away longer and longer as he and his team were meant to deal with the problems. The pirates never managed to get to Mandalore, only managing to get to Concordia.
At the age of 22, Ash was with his team on Concordia for roughly a year, deep within claimed pirate territory as they slowly brought them down. They were in a heavily fortified area within some mountains, complete with heavy weaponry against armor and anything that flies. Raids were conducted by his team, as well as other Spec-Ops teams.
Ash's armor was beat up by the end of the year, but eventually the multitude of pirates were taken out or retreated. Ash returned home to his wife, who welcomed him with open arms. He was also commissioned to the rank of Lieutenant, and given control of his team, thanks to his exemplary services, and being the most senior combatant in the team
The next year was time to relax, with plenty of downtime, and any missions or training exercises were no more than a few days to a week at most. Life was pretty good, until the pirate raids began to increase again.
((Down and up 22-27))
Ash's first real mission, after taking a good year off of anything too serious, was against a group of heavily armed mercs that have been harassing some plantations on Concordia. It needed to be taken care of quickly and quietly, which was why Ash and his team were called in.
The raid was suppose to be simple, but it didn't start out that way. The pirates were ready for them, and opened fire with heavy weapons. Half of Ash's team was blown away within the first five minutes of planned entry, and the call to fall back was made.
Things quickly became worse as the back-up team also came under heavy fire. Ash maneuvered his team to cover for the major extract but after a loud explosion, to Ash, everything went black---
When Ash woke up, he was looking at a white tile ceiling, and he found he could hardly move. Needless to say, he was very confused, especially with where he was, and what had happened to get him into where he was. Over the next few hours, it was explained to Ash that he was in the hospital, and had been comatose for more than a year.
What had happen was that a missile hit some 10 meters from Ash, blowing him away in the explosion. He lost his right arm to a large piece of metal going through the thin armor around his shoulder, most of which was blown off in the explosion. It also ripped his helmet off, causing massive brain damage.
Shortly after, a speeder was blown up, and crushed his left leg, causing it to need amputation. His skull had been partly collapsed, and he was lucky that, and blood-loss didn't kill him. He had to have extensive surgery, replacing a small percentage of his brain with cybernetics. His arm and leg were replaced with cybernetics one. It would be a long before he was fully healed.
Ash never looked down, however. Karen was right with him as he began his physical therapy, as well as him getting use to his new cybernetics. It would become a hassle quickly, but Ash just pushed through it.
The medical personnel expected Ash to have some sort of reject by his cybernetic parts, but everything took on just fine, which he, and everyone else, was happy for. About six months after Ash woke up and began his therapy, he was allowed to continue at his own home.
Karen stayed with him the entire time, helping out the man. During his relaxation time, Ash began to tinker with the ship, which looked to be untouched for years.
Ash also began getting a new set of Beskar'gam together, this time deciding to change how it was made. Working with a armorer from an allied clan, he crafted a set new set of armor, with his usual magnets in it. It was also completed with a jetpack, which had extra fuel cells, so he would be able to fly longer and further.
A little over a year into Ash's recovery, he was able to walk around without needing assistance. His physical strength also began to come back, which was great. His regime began to become harder and more challenging as well. Each time he managed to do something he wasn't able to before, he was internally overjoyed, but he was just too tired to show it normally.
At the age of 27, Ash was fully healed up, and back to his old self, physically at least. He was different mentally now: a little darker and quieter, and not the joker he use to be. He also found it harder to express his emotions. Though he was back with the military, he didn't fully return active until a year later.
((Current days. 28-30))
At the age of 28, the Mandalorian military had grown exponentially than it had before, and they were pushing into Republic space, claiming their land once again. Ash remained out of the spotlight, instead commanding his former team, and several other teams, as acting Troop commander. He was able to think quickly, and move the teams around as if he was there with them, but it wasn't full filling for him. He wanted to get back on the ground, but knew he couldn't, at least not yet.
Karen had joined the Military when he was more or less fully recovered, but was part of supply, running whatever was needed to the front line. She was home often enough, but, to Ash, it felt different. Karen had matured fast since he had been wounded, and when she joined the military. Though still feisty, she was tempered some, as one would be after joining up with any military.
Soon, Ash was replaced by a Rally Master, and he was moved towards the rear of the Mandalorian formation, primarily working as a quartermaster. This gave him plenty of time to tinker with his cybernetics. With some help of an armorer, as well as the individual who made his arm, his arm was streamlined, for the most part, and given a modular exterior, allowing him to fit attachments on his arm, such as a hidden knife. His armor was modified for this adjustment.
Ash soon grew tired of being out of the action, and wanted to get back in. Karen moved onto the main line from her supply work, after proving that she could hold her own in a long term fight, and was seeing more action then Ash was, which upset the man. Being on the other end of the wall, with Karen in the fight and he not gave him a new perspective on how it felt, and he truly felt sorry for his wife whenever he was gone.
At the age of 29, Ash was finally able to see some action. He was given control of a small squad of senior Spec-Ops personnel, and they were given classified missions behind enemy lines on hostile planets, weakening them from the inside while friendly forces attacked from the other side.
When the Mandalorians were attacking Ordo, Ash took a backseat ride while he helped coordinate his team in the battle from a CIC on a capital ship. Karen was planetside fighting to claim the planet for the Mandalorians. As the battle for the planet was winding down, Ash got news that she was killed by the Republic forces.
The body was recovered, and upon confirming that this was Karen, and she was indeed dead, Ash stumbled into a murderous, depressed streak. In the months to come, he would always be in the midst of battle, killing as many people as he could. He was smart enough to let the "grunts" take the initial blow, but he would be in the second wave, blowing throw the enemy lines, using his strong defensive and offensive capabilities to always better his position.
Soon, Ash would receive a promotion to Rally Master, but his mission set list didn't change: guess he must have been doing something right. Ash's self training never let up, and he continued to better himself in martial and range combat.
Ash turned 30, as time went on, but the hole left in his heart, which had been there ever sense Karen died, wouldn't heal, like his body. All he could do was keep his mind occupied either by studying something, training, or missions.
Roleplay Sample:
Ash looked at Mandalore from his small cabin, just simply observing the planet miles and miles beneath his feet. It was strange, how he grew up on this place, but now he was leaving to go claim more planets for the Mandalorians. He also couldn't believe he was leaving his late wife down there, or rather, her grave.
There was a sound behind him: his door silently opening, and he turned around, only to see a second Mandalorian standing there, his armor a snowy white: stark contrast to Ash's own of black and grey. The man's personality was also in stark contrast to Ash's own.
Commander, we've been trying to get into contact with you for the last 15 minutes, is everything ok?
Yea, just thinking back. Whats the matter?
You're being summoned to the CIC.
Got it. You're free to go now.
Ash dismissed the younger man, and then was alone once again. The silence was almost harsh, but Ash didn't mind. He abstained from making friends of any sort, so alone was best. With a sigh, the man grabbed his helmet sitting on a small desk, and walked out of his room, donning it as he did so
