So, I’ve been running around with an idea in my brain for a little while, a new concept of mine for a little rp on this site. It didn’t surface from thin air but instead from Dollhouse, I watched it recently and have just felt a desire for a similar rp since then.
However, I am of course plagued with implementing my idea into Star Wars and am also unsure to what extent I want it to be similar. Truthfully all my thoughts are messed up so even when I explain this it might not come across how I want it.
But here I’ll take a crack at explain what I have so far or what I could have as there are varying theories.
Basically, there are 26 what you’d call assassins, they are controlled by a private, independent and highly secretive company (currently unnamed). Now, I have three ideas for how these people are controlled, one would be (following closely the idea of Dollhouse) that they have unnecessary memories removed/wiped from their brain, we could say this was done by machine or a force user if we really wanted (although truthfully I’d prefer to stay away from force users throughout this). Secondly would to say they were subject to a Spartan-like upbringing and by that I’m on about the Halo Spartans more than the real ones. Genetic amplifications and rigorous training (although no flashy armour) in order to raise them into the folks they are now. Finally this idea is pretty much the same as the second idea but using injections and chemicals to subdue all the main emotions of the assassins.
So these assassins are supposed to be basically devoid of any real emotion and control. Their actions and thoughts are meant to be abstract but they are controlled by this company and order on assassination missions. Few people know about them and they are very well paid per job due to the near-perfect success rate. The idea is that somehow the 26 of them (or a lot/most/some of them) have escaped and are on the run and coming to terms with the development of themselves in this huge galaxy that they have yet to really discover.
Now each of them is going to receive some degree of training in things like stealth, weapons and unarmed combat but I want each one to have some sort of specialty, pistols, heavy weapons, explosives, blades, hand-to-hand combat, stealth, piloting, mechanics, robotics, medicine, etc. I haven’t come up with who will have what yet but I do believe that the 26 should 13 male and 13 females characters each with a name such as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo etc (this idea is taken from the show). This is sort of more of a label than a name but to them it’s all they know.
Now, I’m not suggesting that we have all 26 rping together ‘cause that would just be chaotic. Plus I don’t know how many people this will attract, if any. But basically it would be likely that they go around in 4/5/6/7/8 different groups but so long as they’re at least with someone else from the group. It might be an idea to have them involve other people, ordinary folks, fringers and then you’ve got the guys from the company who want their assassins back, and they have very deep pockets. So there are a lot of opportunities for characters. I just need to clear some things up first, for that I need help otherwise I might make a choice that doesn’t interest folk.
So, I think that’s it, a lot to wrap your head around and perhaps put very badly (in which case please tell me) but basically that’s it, I need to know who, if anyone, is interested and what suggestions you can give in relation to things.
I would ask one thing though. This is going to sound pompous and elitist of me but for the characters (the 26 specifically) I would ask that we have experienced writers at the helm. And by this I mean things have to be conceptual from your character’s perspective, abnormal, almost as if they’re like children in many ways. So two lines of fours paragraphs isn’t really going to cut it if we wanna get some good roleplay going.
The intention would be to have the 26 branch out and then get them all caught up with the hunt, and those who choose to get involved with the escaped assassins.
I think that’s it…
Anyone?

Edited Info:
We settled on the title Merchants of Death for the plot, instead of just calling it the 'assassins plot'.
Plot:
The Freedmen and the Degradation:
Myri (keilara) starts to notice something fishy is going on in the medical facility she works at, Green Meadows. During a check up, she meets Tango (Talau), and Victor (Vexmun) her partner, she notices that they are seemingly emotionless. As she digs deeper, Myri discovers the secret of the people named after the call sign alphabet. Feeling bad about her part in their job and their lot in life she works to slice into the mainframe that controls their nano-chips and gets a few free of their emotionless bonds, including Alpha, the first and leader, Delta, the demolitions expert who finds a way to get them out, and Echo his partner. The last is Victor, who she reprograms to allow the emotions through before the company gets too close to finding out she’s the one helping their “tools” get away. Being a slicer he starts the degradation process for the rest of the chips (not wanting the others to experience the rush of so many emotions so suddenly, like he did) before he and Tango are sent on a mission and he kidnaps her. Like the others who’s chips are being degraded, Tango slowly begins to find that she has strange new things happening to her, feelings that she doesn’t understand. It’s a big galaxy and both the Freedmen and the Degradation groups are struggling to survive and understand their new freedom and emotions, as well as run from their former allies and team mates, including Foxtrot who is sent to track down the escaped members, as well as the rest of the company.
Notes:
Age range: 24-25
Taken as children, 3-4 taken as orphans/unwanteds/slaves, all bought by company.
Emotion Suppression: the nano chip is this (taken from MGS4): it controls emotions through brain functions, only the emotions conducive to battle are permitted during battle. These can be regulated through the data system elsewhere (which they're linked directly to) giving them just the right amount of adrenalin, aggression, fear, ect. that one would need to perform at an optimal level during high stress situations. It also acts as a tracking chip, translator, AND allows them to use protected/locked weapons, like an ID chip. If you don't have it (the chip) the gun doesn't let you fire it. It is connected to the company via a signal.
Memory wipe: working off the electronic impulses of the brain, cracking the frequency and manipulating accordingly' at first it would be removing the memory of life before the company and then it would be used for erasing the memories of previous jobs so that if they were caught they couldn't be led back to the company and also to remove memories of the targets they've killed
Training: physical and mental (puzzles ect) conditioning, general education, extended military education and weapons handling (tactics, strategy, stealth, pistols, rifles, short blades, long blades, quarter staffs, CQC, basic knowledge of a variety of ground based and air based vehicles), basic medical, cooking, survival, flexibility training, slicing, mechanical/engineering, observation.
when: age taken – 16/17 (core training), continued training after.
Where: inside training (for a-typical training for kids), outside training (for typical training, ex: jogging ect), remote world drop off for survival, Medical Facility base on Ralltiir
Experimentation: vision (lenses inserted into the eyes), induced/accelerated puberty (puberty starts at 9-10, ends at 13-14 and the enhancements are done at 15), muscle enhancements (not sure what yet.) flexibility (train them in it early, give them supplements, possibly replace a few joints with something more durable than the cartilage. and take out a set of ribs) speed (eye enhancements and nano chip adrenaline control during battle situations with temp. adrenaline bursts.)
You all know about my idea for how they escaped right? basically someone on the inside hacks into the chip signal, puts a frequency within/under the current one that's nigh untraceable to deactivate the chips
Any other ideas?
Chip degredation. think about that. they're not going to be perfect forever and not everyone has to escape by the hacker. chip degredation can fill in and allow slow relationship building as characters involved start to see what's going on around them
magnet to the chip
adaptation to the chip
short in the computer
glitches
electric shock
One of them (our characters), well trained with technology, can hack into the signal (from the chip to the base) to locate the others, or at least gain a vague idea of where they are (this would also give a reason as to why they aren't all discovered very quickly)
NO FORCE SENSITIVES
Speed: 7-9
Intelligence: 7-9
Strength: 7-9

History section of App:
Topics to help write you bio, and write each other into histories:
Classes, Weapons training, physical fitness courses, meals, study time, mock scenarios (real life based training)
the Off World Survival course: involves being dropped off on Dxun at age 16/17 after implants/genetics/ect with basic combat knife and some rope. They would be dropped off alone and have the potential to find each other. Would have to survive with nothing but those tools for 3-4 weeks
